Project Overview
Smokes and Mirrors is heavily inspired by the game/anime series of Danganronpa. Zachary Parker, a solo tradesman located in Los Angeles is kidnapped by a mysterious organization and forced to take part in a set of unknown "killing games". With the only way of winning the grand prize , kill one of the other contestants and have no one catch you. Zachary must navigate the tensions of 13 other contestants that take part in the game and are all for their own reasons are looking to win the grand prize.

Zachary is a chill but sometimes strict guy. Valuing people's trust and staying away from those who tend to lie or burn bridges really easily. Not that book smart, leans towards being street smart. He's the main character of the story.

Emma is timid and easily swayed. She's also very cheery and makes the best out of almost every situation. People see this as delusional but to her there's always something to be grateful. Very Important to the story, serving alongside Zachary as the main character

Bruce is a man with a storied past. Served in the military and served a couple years, realzied the army was not the place was where he wanted to be. Became a pro-wreslter shortly after his service in. the military was up. He's a standing figure of authority and will do a lot to maintain it.

Maya was born for the streets. Growing up poor forced her into learning the backroads of unsafe areas and now she uses the skills from her childhood now. People come and go as long as they slow her down, which is up to her to decide, people can stay. She's not nice but she's also not rude, she's a realist.

Lily's a quiet person. She doesn't feel the need to open to a group of people who are just going to use whatever she has to say against her. Lily opening up to you is as useful as dangerruos, lots of questions regarding if she trusts you, if that's a warning, if you can trust her.

Henry is emblished with southern blood. A true rough and tough cowboy. Not taking any sort of crap from anyone he deems not good enough to act with power or as a leader. Also has anger issues, be careful around him. Snapping tiger is ready to attack anyone at any moment. (Note: Southern Accent is NOT reqiured but will take into consideration for those who can preform the role with the accent over those who don't/can't).

Lee's the bodyguard of a rich oil tycoon's daughter. He grew up surrounded around crime and sees life as nothing but a grey aspect. There's no love, there's no life in it for him. Many of his interactions are cold and strictly professional but every time it eats him up that he can't live a life like everyone else.

The puppet master. She plays people into doing her dirty work for her. Does she feel bad ofr the things she does? no. Everyone is a tool, yet there's some people she will treat with respect. There's also this sense of paranoia with her as she knows her ability in using people, she gets worried and overworked if people begin to question the act.
