Simulate Series season 1
Project Overview
ATTENTION: SIMULATE is a series that will last 2-3 seasons. Be aware, this will last longer that a couple months, and is an On-going project. if you do not wish to have the dedication and determination to stick around, now is your heads-up.
The main character Iris wakes up in a womderlandesque world, which is a simulation. She doesn’t realize this for a while. She seems to be around the age of 15, and is very childish and carefree. Every now and then she has flashbacks to a laboratory with voices of adults, and every time this happens the world breaks a little more, and she becomes more and more like herself
Iris in the real world is a 23 year old girl who was dying from a rare blood disease, incurable. Her father, Morris Spade, is a scientist who created a virtual simulator and tricked Iris into believing it was a machine that could cure her. He does this because he believes it’s right since it’s the only way she’ll live, and his morals are no longer within reason. He makes sure she can’t escape the simulation whenever she tries, along with 3 others, who she meets in the false world, which are also simulation testers.
The 3 friends are:
Zachary: he’s shy, but overall a genius. He’s also goofy and quirky and becomes Iris bff I’m the simulation
Gabriella: she’s one of the more dramatic girls. She has this “I’m a pretty princess” snobby attitude to her, but at the same time she has a warm heart.
Kade: he is an asshole. He is the only one out of the three who understands that the place they’re in is fake. He’s the oldest amongst them, and in the real world, he was a younger scientist who worked alongside Morris. He was betrayed by him. He never tells anyone else that they are in a simulation because of the rules of reality.
Each character has character growth:
Zack becomes less shy and more outgoing.
Gabriella becomes less self Absorbed and more friendly.
Kade, after the 3 finally realize it’s fake, starts to finally feel understood so his good side starts coming back; caring, warm hearted, protective, etc.
Iris’ dad, Morris, works for a company called, “Exodus”. The company is corrupt and such, ladida, typical political and big business bullshit;
Morris is blackmailed to work for them because they have a cure for Iris, that’s why kade, Zack and Gabriella are put into the simulation. He quits eventually, but to stay safe and out of radar, he has to keep the 3 in the simulation, and he promises to make Iris a cure himself no matter what. So he puts her into the simulation until he hopefully finds one some day
In season 2, a character named Donovan Hex is introduced. The new antagonist and head of Exodus. He is a sarcastic fun type character, but terrifying when serious. He wears an Oni mask to hide a scar from skin deterioration and red contacts to keep his eyesight. These are both side effects from an earlier form of the cure meant to cure the same blood disease Iris has. He has to take the perfected version of the cure almost daily. Due to this, he can’t eat anything or else he throws up. He lives on liquids. He knows a lot of pressure points and can paralyze anyone by using them due to his medical knowledge. He can’t go into the simulation due to his symptoms and disease. He has three things that make him threaten: Money, Knowledge and deception.

Iris is 13. She is a very optimistic, disgustingly positive character. Later on, she becomes less positive and more realistic due to certain circumstances that I will not type here because spoilers.

Gabriella is around 16-17 years old, and is a very self-absorbed character, but she has a heart of gold. she cares for everyone around her, but still thinks she is the most important out of all of them. very princess-like.

Kade is 21. He is an asshole, but cares about his friends still. he's just annoyed with people in general

He is around 43 years old. he is very strange, and mildly deranged. he cares for one thing only: His daughter.

He speaks in a Thick English accent. he is in his 30's, and a very cheerful man. he has a low voice.

Generous: Say, ya look pretty young to be wanderin’ round here at yer age. How’d ya like to come stay at the village for a bit an’ rest up?
Grim: He’s said to be an entity from Another world. Covered in robes with A single snake eye. He knows and sees all, but he is bad news.
Again, a thick english accent. She is just a side character.

Kind: It seems our provisions have been mixed up again with the eastern village. We need some brave souls to go fetch them for us.

This character is seen only a few times in season 1, but he is the antagonist in season 2. he's a lot like Ultron or Ryan Reynolds, funny, sarcastic, an asshole, but he's very smart and when He is threatening, It's terrifying, because it's about the only time he's serious.
