Project Overview
Shadows of Light is a 20 minute fan short film of drama and fantasy directed by @violetandpowder (a.k.a Spaceflix).The story is about a 17-year-old boy who still hasn't accepted the mysterious death of his mother, and is confident in finding the real reason she died. On the way he meets a student from his school, Jennifer. But he never had the courage to talk to her. and eventually he finds out that she was an entity that was searching for a chosen one to stop his brother from destroying the cycle of life.

Daniel Evans is the protagonist and narrator of Shadows of Light.
Daniel is a naive but bitter young pianist due to the untimely death of his mother, who taught him to play piano. He has a crush on a student who always rides the same bus as him to school.
He never had the courage to talk to her because of his shyness and modesty, as well as his dread of being rejected by the girl he loves.
He never overcomed his fear of losing people, just as he never got over his mother's demise.
Shadows of Light is a journey of acceptance of one essential truth.

Jennifer Vaughan is the deutragonist of Shadows of Light. She is always described as a girl of mysterious nature. Of extraordinary beauty and intangible intelligence. But few know that her entire biography is nothing more than a facade and a bait to find the chosen one who can defeat her brother.
Death is Jennifer's true form, being seen only as a human alter-ego. Being the daughter of Yin and Yang (just like her brother), she is on a quest to find the chosen one who can stop her brother from killing her. And thus endangering the entire universe.
