Project Overview
Logline:“A young man’s night of television watching takes an unexpected turn that shatters his concept of reality”.
Casting lead roles for the debut film of Woodfire Productions: 'The Static Spoke to me.'
This is a live action short film, filmed in Manchester, England. The film is made in collaboration with A New Master Plan Productions and will be distributed to film festivals across the UK and possible international ones dependent on the success of the film.
An IMDb credit will be given to all cast and crew.

The entity exists solely as a voice; it has no physical form.
Voice description: It comes across as very wise and well spoken, however it lacks understanding about bascially everything to do with being human.
It questions what emotions are and is fastinated by them as a concept. It is not a hostile force but merely resembling a lost soul that happens to find Simon by happenstance through an unexplained event.
AUDITION INSTRUCTONS:
Due to the production requiring to be distributed into film festivals. All audio submissions must be accoustically sound and auditions must demonstrate the ability to record and clean good quality audio.
To audition you must be comfortable to be credited using your real name/ stage name (No online usernames). Communications will be exchanged via email or phone, depending on your preference.
