I am needing an urgent recast for Mii-chan, the talking masochist cat! We already have season one complete and just need the remainder of his lines for season 2! Become a part of the awesomely talented cast of Senyu, an unofficial Somewhat Heroic Production fandub!!

I am once again rebooting this project! I have dreamed about doing a full fan dub of Senyu because of how much I love the series. (At very least the first season) This time, it’s going to get finished. Last time around there were a hefty amount of recasts due to VA’s disappearing MIA, some copyright problems, and a hard drive failure that pushed the project to its death. To ensure the project finishes this time around, I am going to disperse all the scripts for the 13 episodes right at the start and give a deadline for the lines. Second, and more importantly, I am going to pay my voice actors for the awesome work they put in. Unfortunately, it won’t be all that much due to finance constraints, but I am happy to offer from 5 to 10 dollars per season.
Additionally, I would love a second editor to jump on board so I can get these episodes edited quicker. Episodes are only four minutes each, so each episode it short. I would be happy to pay this individual a negotiable (unfortunately not too high) price per episode edited.
Now to the actual intro to the project!
Hey, JMac52 of Somewhat Heroic Productions here. I have always wanted to complete a full season fan dub of a show, and I found the perfect one: Senyuu. Senyuu is a zany, quirky, and hilarious anime parodying RPG video games, famous anime such as Naruto and FMA, and much more.
Also, make sure you have at least decent mic . It doesn't have to be perfect quality, but make sure there's no background noise or peaking.
Lastly, let loose and have fun with your auditions! This show is a silly, goofy, and oftentimes doesn't make much sense, but that's why it's a fun show to fan dub. A warning, some of the material can be occasionally TV-14ish with language and some material, but nothing overwhelming. Now go and give me some great auditions because I know you can. All of us at Somewhat Heroic Productions would love to see you join the team!

Foy Foy is the edgy hero of the group and travels with Rudolf to destroy the demon king. Try a voice in the medium range that sounds a bit devious or your own interpretation.
The hero Foy Foy is going to turn you into fish food... or maybe a stain on the ground. (Menacing)

One of twelve super powerful demons summoned accidentally. He injures himself often and relies on what he calls his "jutsu". Maybe try an anti-hero, gravely type medium voice or try out your own interpretation. He first appears in episode 7.
"Well, well. If it isn't the demon king, Ruki." (Menacing)
"(somewhat cheerful screaming first line as he breaks into room) HELLO! Everything in this world is just so fragile. I accidentily tore down a shop, so they brought me to this place."
"(in pain) I'll use my secret ninja art, Suck it up jutsu!"

Februar is one of the twelve demons, who is initially an antagonist. She appears to a be a tween/teen, but is really over one hundred years old and doesn't like talking about it. She disolocates her hips a lot. Try medium-high voice here or your own approach.
"Not going to happen, Cat Man! Cause he’s--- (sudden pain noise) (deliver in pain) My hips hurt bad."
"Hey, I heard that, kid! Don’t treat me like an old woman! (Dentures fly out of mouth) Bwehhhh!"
"You can’t go back yet, Janua. I won’t let you. Afterall, (suddenly cheerful) you’re one of the Chosen Twelve!"

The King seems like he is sending the heroes on a noble quest at the beginning, but turns out the king was scheming an evil plot the entire time. He usually appears like a good guy on the outside, but he lets his evil side out every so often. Try a deep/low voice fit for a king or your own approach. He only appears sporadically (particularly in the first season), but is a very important character for the plot.
"The Demon King sealed by the great hero must have been revived." (emphatic)
Now, go! You must find the demon king!
You've been in my service for thirty years. It's too bad it (shifts to much more evil sounding and intense) has to all end here!
I am capable of editing all of the episode fine by myself, but if a second, qualified volunteer helped me edit a few of the four minute episodes I may be able to knock them ouT quicker.
I can offer 5 dollars PER EPISODE to a second editor or negotiate.

Hime is the tsundere type character of the show. She gets embarrassed easily and wears a suit of armor (like Alphonse) before revealing herself as the King's daughter later on. She is super tsundere for Foyfoy and gets violent often. Try a medium high teen voice or your own take. She first appears in episode 6.
""Well, if you ask me it's you heroes that are the weird ones. Not me! I mean, you're on a journey to fight demons, right?!"" (flustered)
""Look. it's a letter from the king! Here!"" (excited)(nervous, embarrassed, angry/tsundere mode) You----you don’t know what you’re talking about, Hero! I-I-I-I’m not in love with Foy-uhhh whoever that guy over there is. That’s impossible. I don’t even know who he is! You understand!
The narrator introduces each episode in an accurate or not so accurate way. Sometimes he/she reacts with the characters in a Breaking the 4th wall manner.
One day without warning a huge hole appeared in the world, and from it emerged many demons. Soon after, the world was filled with despair and chaos. (Dramatic)
And so, begins the adventures of the comedy duo of Alba and Ros- - - oh, I mean costume party.(Dramatic)
Ares is self-proclaimed hero (#76) who travels with Hime-chan. Most of what she says is whatever is at the top of her mind, completely random, or disparaging to allies or enemies. She often makes fun of Hime-chan's crush on FoyFoy. I see Ares having a medium to medium low teen to young adult type voice, maybe slightly monotone (not like Rei Ayanami or anything like that). Open to any interpretation!
(fairly monotone) She's staring at me... totally at me... is she in love?
(teasing) Oh it's okay, Hime-chan? I mean, you're a cute girl, right? There's no need to wear all of that armor.
(borderline hysterical laughing) After that speech she gave to me about not wearing enough armor, Hime-chan was the first to die with one shot to the eye part! (continues laughing)
Zwei is the tentacle that comes out of Februar's back when she fights, and the two are treated as pair after Zwei's reveal. I'll possibly put an effect on the voice in post production, but I am looking for anything somewhat menacing sounding, but in a cartoony way. I could see anywhere between medium low to high working or your own interpretation!
(somewhat menacing) That's right! You screwed up! You left a piece of my spike inside of him@
(cocky) The two of us go hand in hand just like a pair. (arrogant laughter)
Samejima embodies two traits: coolness and manliness. Every time he appears on screen he does something cool, manly, and generally something useful surprisingly. However, his ability to take damage for the entire party also ends up being a great weakness for him... Try a low to medium-low type voice for Samejima that oozes coolness and stereotypical manliness. In the first season Samejima only has one line, but in the second he is prominently featured in several episodes. I hope to do the second season and will increase the pay rate to season regular level if we get that far, but for now with the lack of lines I'll leave the rate where it is.
(intense) Take this, my ultimate ability... MANLY AURA BEAM!!!
(heroic) How did I get here you ask? My friend was in trouble and I hurried as fast I could to get here! (cool smile)
(Cool) I carry something stronger than armor on my back. (realizing this doesn't make any sense and devastated) Wait, that doesn't make any sense!
Dezember Zwolf is the main antagonist in the first volume of Senyu, who is manipulating the King. Dezember is focused on his plan and will do everything it takes to accomplish it, even if it takes lying and deceiving, the two things he hates the most. Dezember only has a few lines in the first season of the show, which is the only part I'm casting currently. If we decide to dub the second season (which I really hope to do if all goes well and I'm leaning towards doing), this role will carry over to the second season where he has a much bigger role. Try a medium-low menacing voice or your own villainous take!
(Devious) Everything is going as you planned without a hitch. I, this embassy wolf, dislike lies and justice. Don’t worry.
(menacing) Sometimes an adult has to do the thing they hate the most. (evil chuckle(
(focused, serious) Enough/ All of you, disappear! Let me present to you my magic... Dunkelheit! It will tear you apart!
Elf November is one of the legendary demons and sort of plays an anti-hero type role in season two after trying to assassinate Alba.He acts resourceful but is in actuality kind of an idiot. Elf likes to create costumes of other characters to try and imitate them (sometimes good costumes, sometimes laughably bad) and likes to play pranks (oftentimes at very inappropriate moments). For Elf, try a medium to medium-high voice, or your own interpretation.
(excited and the slightest bit menacing) You fool! You fell for it! I put a bomb in the costume! (sudden realization) Wait, but doesn't that mean it will take me with him? Uh-oh...
(confident and happy) You beat me completely. Call me Elf! But I won't give up. One day I'll get you for sure!
(in serious pain) Damn, I can't believe how much stronger he is then me...
Juli is one of the other demons who primarily serves Dezember. Juli enjoys fighting and killing, and engages the heroes in an intense battle. Oh, and he can turn into a dragon when he fights. Juli is very childish and gets bored easily. Due to his youthfulness, I could see a male or female voicing Juli. Try something in the medium-high to higher range or your own approach.
(happy laughter) Just flatten the guys who are getting in the way! What an easy job!
(annoyed) What? I only got one of them? I guess it's okay though. He had the most magic power. (suddenly happy again) Let's kill the rest of you!
(menacing and intimidating) So, why do you think they summoned me to this world? To kill anyone who gets in our way! (transforming scream)
The Demon King himself! He has horrible fashion taste and has been sealed for a thousand years by the Hero Creasion. However, as of the series he has been revived, although very briefly. In his brief appearance, he is extremely whiny and sort of crybaby, unexpectedly. Try a medium range voice or your own approach!
No! I don't want to die! Huh? Oh, right. Right. [suddenly confident] I just remembered, you would never kill me, would you? You keep clinging to that past of yours... [taunting tone] And that's why you're just a human!
[terrified crying] He's going to kill me, too! It's all over!
[in pain] Stop it... please don't do that again...
I am willing to pay a third video editor to begin work on episodes in the second season. I will pay 5 to 10 dollars per each 4.5 minute episode edited. Apply with past work if possible. Thanks!

Mii-Chan is peculiar green cat. After Janua brought demon magic into the real world and made friends with Mii-Chan, the cat can now walk on two legs and talk! And... he's also a masochist. Emphasis on that last part. This is a re-cast. Here is a clip of the character from the first season of our fandub. Somewhere in the medium range (could try medium high or low), or a similar take as our last actor is preferred, but I welcome unique takes. (10 dollar payment, or negotiable)
