Sedisverse Season 1

Alice Chamberlain is a minor female role for the Sedisverse as part of the 'Southgates' storyline. She is intended to be a recurring character for future seasons.

Alice is a strong minded young woman with a British accent (of any variety) - approximately mid 20s.
She is soft spoken, friendly and works as a therapist/counsellor for a homeless shelter before striking out on her own. Her role in the story is to act as the emotional and moral guide for the main character - Elliot Thomas - helping him to centre himself and not to stray into darker choices. She is also something of a minor love interest for him, though this is unrequited.

The role will require only spoken lines in season 1, with no need for SFX for exertions/fighting/etc.

Amy Steinbach is a minor female role in Sedisverse season 1. She will only appear in one episode, making her an ideal practice role for those with younger voices. There is scope for her to appear in future seasons.

Amy is the teenage daughter of one of the minor protagonists. She is bubbly, friendly and light hearted - the polar opposite to her mother. She is intended as someone in their mid teens, though some flexibility there is acceptable.

Bakara is a minor male role for season 1 of the Sedisverse. He only appears for a single episode, making him a good practice role for those with strong regional accents. There is scope for him to appear in future seasons.

Bakara is a male in his mid late thirties. He is an information broker, disguised as a local butcher, offering his services to the local underworld for the right price. He is the kind of man who knows everyone and everything that is going on and is smart enough to profit from it. He is intended to have a strong British or Caribbean accent - though Turkish would also be a good fit.

Bean Sidhe is a minor female villainous role for Sedisverse season 1. She has scope for return in future seasons. She presents as an older adult female in her late 40s / early50s and has a British, potentially Scottish accent.

Bean is a member of the Unseelie court, a dark fae disguised as a human, infiltrating society and manipulating events. She is cruel, cold and malicious and should come across as very calculating and calm with a measured menace to her voice.

The role will require only spoken lines in season 1, with only minor need for SFX for exertions such as running.

Bloody Nose is the moniker of an adult male villain appearing as a minor role for Sedisverse season 1. 

Bloody nose is a high ranking member of the mafia group acting as primary villains for the Southgates storyline. He is gruff, arrogant, rude and violent, with little regard for others - including his own gang. The character is an adult male in his mid/late 40s or older and should have a thick lower class British accent (cockney for example).

The role will require mostly spoken lines, but will also include a death scene that will need muffled screams and panicked shouts.

Captain Gallagher is a major villainous role for the Mars storyline of Sedisverse season 1. He will have a recurring but changed role in future seasons.

Gallagher is the security chief for the Martian colony. He is a relatively young male character in his early 30s/late 20s. He is arrogant, cruel and something of a bored bully who sees his posting on Mars as a punishment. He takes his frustrations out on those beneath him and holds special contempt for the colony miners. He is nevertheless intelligent and cunning, hating it when others see him as just a common soldier.

The role will involve swearing/cursing.

The role will require mostly spoken lines, but will also include need for fighting SFX, as well as screams, pained shouts and anger. An ideal role for letting out all those frustrations of life!

Chancer is a minor adult male villainous role in Sedisverse season 1

Chancer is a young adult male acting as a traitor within the ranks of the Striker movement on the Martian colony. He is leading his fellows into a trap. The character should come across initially as relatively innocent and committed before turning cold and cruel. He should ideally have a British accent, but this not a requirement.

The role is very minor one overall, so an ideal one to practice with!

Falway is the chief officer of the beleaguered Southgates station, fighting with corruption both within and without in a particularly harsh area of London. They are worn down and world weary, but still attempting to do their duty to the best of their ability. The character should be in their late 40s/50s.

Chris is a minor protagonist role in season 1 of Sedisverse. He will only appear in 1 episode which will include a death scene.

Chris is an everyman character with a solid, sensible personality. As a worker for London's water companies, his job is to enter the tunnels beneath the city to fix problems. On this occasion he and his workmates will be finding something far darker. The character is meant to be the sensible member of the group, the rock the others will be relying on to keep moving, though he has a healthy fear of rats. He is intended as an adult male, but exact age is not tied down and can be anything from early 20s to late 50s.


The role will require some need for screaming, panicked shouts, exertions such as running and hard breathing. There is also a death scene at the end of the episode.

Cole Black is a significant villain in the later stages of Season 1 of Sedisverse. He is an adult male in his late 20s / early 30s with a recognizably Australian accent.

Cole is a skilled mercenary hitman hired by the mafia to conduct especially difficult jobs - in this case hunting superheroes. Though ruthless, he is surprisingly jovial about his work, to the point of playing with his prey and is prone to humming, singing to himself and otherwise enjoying his duties.

Colwin is a minor protagonist role for an older adult male for season 1 of the Sedisverse. He is a small part within the Mars storyline and ideal for practice roles.

Colwin is the head of the Striker movement on Mars, a leader and political figurehead who represents the miners and their interests. He can be of any accent - though British is preferred - and should be authoritative, soft spoken and intelligent. He is of advanced years, between 50 and 60 and his voice should carry that weight with age.

Corrigan is a major villainous role within Sedisverse season 1 with potential for a return in future seasons. 

Corrigan is a member of the Unseelie court and a dark Fae disguised as human. He has a strong disdain of humanity and a vicious, cruel streak. Though soft spoken, he is utterly confident of his superiority and his abilities. He specialises in causing terror and manipulation, revelling in the harm he can get humans to inflict on each other. He should come across as extremely menacing and cold, despite being soft spoken and forever smiling. This is a voice that should be dripping in polite venom.

The role will require some need for exertions such as running, fighting, taking hits and hard breathing.

Crystal Steinbach is a mid sized antagonist role for Season 1. She should have a lower class British accent by preference and a shrill, bitter voice. Ideally we are looking for a voice in its mid 20s, but anything from 20 -30 is fine.

Crystal is the embittered wife of one of the minor protagonists. She is a cruel, selfish character with addictions to both drugs and alcohol and openly engaging in an affair with her husbands brother. She perceives herself as the hero of her story and a victim of society at large. She loathes her husband, who she sees as weak and useless and who she treats like a servant.

Damien Underhill is a lead protagonist for the Mars storyline of season 1 of Sedisverse. It will also be a returning role for any future seasons. Damien should have a British accent, and be a young adult male in his early 20s

Damien is a member of the Mars colony administration and the first born child on Mars. He is also secretly a sympathizer for the Martian strike movement under the name Maxwell Belltower, offering them information and aid. In the course of his efforts, he uncovers a plot to massacre the movement and risks everything to get warning to them in time. As a Martian born, he has never been on Earth, nor touched grass, nor seen an ocean or rain. His upbringing has left him physically weak, and prone to asthma attacks due to poisons in the mine tunnels. Despite his setbacks, he is courageous and keen to do the right thing.

David is a water worker tasked as part of a team to investigate a strange report in London's sewer tunnels. A hard worker, he is keen to show off his skills to his older companions, though he will be utterly unprepared for the horrors that are waiting for them in the dark tunnels.

Redford is a deputy police chief in their late 30s/early 40s. They are part of the Southgates police station, stuck in the heart of one of Londons roughest districts. As such Redford is constantly dealing with cases as well as internal corruption and the eagle eye of the media. They have little time for displays of insubordination or of grand gestures and are too stressed to care for niceties.

Director Izzard is a minor antagonist role for season 1 of the Sedisverse. She should have a British accent by preference and is around her late 40s.

Director Izzard is the head of the Administration for the Mars colony. She is typical upper management, unwilling to get her hands dirty, but strongly against anyone who could make her look bad. Dealing with a strike at the mine that is the heart and soul of the colony, she has little time for any of the strikers or the workers beneath her and just wants to get back to normal as quickly as possible. She has only surface level morals and very little courage, quickly backing away from planned decisive strikes if they even remotely risk her being perceived in the wrong by her superiors.

Dom is a young homeless man who has found shelter among the people of the abandoned skyscraper complex known as the Blocks. He is clever and resourceful, with skill as a mechanic. He is the moral support and lover of one of the other male protagonists, providing a level headed, grounded perspective to the other characters more impulsive natures.

Dr Willis is a lead research scientist assigned to STOCKADE - a government program intended to research, capture or eliminate supernatural threats. Willis is highly intelligent, but bored, having been assigned a role he has lost interest in, but is too important to leave. His frustrations manifest as an arrogant, slightly dismissive tone to his voice.

Dr Keyes is the primary mob liason for the criminal underworld of the Southgates storyline. Working for his shadowy masters, he is attempting to harness and weaponise super power individuals to be shaped and then recruited into the local mafia. Utterly ruthless and very arrogant, he has nothing but disdain for anyone else who cannot match his intellect, but is far from a fighter and although defiant, he will always retreat when confronted with violence.

The role will require mostly spoken lines in season 1, with little need for SFX for exertions such as hard breathing from running/fighting/etc.

Dr McAffee is a doctor working at the Southgates district hospital, helping to treat the injured from a dramatic fire. She is overworked, but dutiful and observant, with a strong sense that something is wrong when several government workers arrive to take the patients away to another facility. She has a former relationship with another of the protagonists, that she is reluctant - but open to rekindle.

Dr O'Reilly is the principle (and only) science officer on the Martian colony and is often tasked with anything even remotely relating to science work, even if it has nothing to do with his area of expertise. He is arrogant, highly intelligent and holds an ends justifies the means mentality. He has nothing but disdain for humans in general, admiring the order and efficiency of insectoid society. When asked to create a bio weapon for the Administration, he sees it as a perfect excuse to test his own theories and formula.

Dr Sanders is a minor protagonist role in Season 1 of the Sedisverse. She will have scope for a larger role in future seasons. Dr Sanders is a young woman in her early/mid 20s with a British accent (preferably).

Dr Sanders is a lead research scientist for STOCKADE, a government institute dealing with supernatural threats. Her assigned role is to research the arrival of super powered individuals captured near Stonehenge. The captives are confused and remain mostly human, and she treats them as such, offering a degree of kindness and hospitality even as she conducts her work. As she works with one of the captives, she begins to develop feelings for him, not least because his condition reminds her of her own that she works hard to keep control of.

Drake Singh is one of a number of legionaries posted to the Lunar colony by the British as punishment for their crimes. As a former gambler and fraudster, Drake is clever with a good head for numbers and is friendly with Franklin Salmon - one of the other protagonists on the base. Drake is quiet, but diligent, looking to keep his head down and survive long enough to get through his sentence and return home.

Ezoc Lotleth is a major protagonist in season 1 of the Sedisverse, with will be a returning role in future seasons. He is an adult male in his early 30s without any specific accent.

Ezoc Lotleth is a skilled engineer and programming prodigy, seemingly exiled by his government to the Lunar colony to work on new weapon systems. He is self assured, cocky, with an arrogance born of boredom more than malice. He lacks self confidence and disguises this with shows of bravado or drowning in drink. He is good friends with the lead character and generally friendly with others. He has a strong moral compass and spirals when forced to become the face of a shadowy project that could enslave thousands, only finding hope when he realises his friend is still alive and able to help him bring it down from the inside.

Ezoc also has a dark counterpart, an original copy of himself he isn't aware of who has been trying to track him down.

Franklin Salmon is one of the lead protagonists for the Sedisverse season 1. He is intended to be a major returning character for future seasons. He is an adult male in his early/mid 30s with a British accent (preferably)

Franklin starts as a criminal, sentenced to be a legionary fighting on the moon as punishment for his crimes. He regrets his previous life, though remains a selfish character initially - focusing on his own wants and goals over others. He is friendly and intelligent with a certain charm, but can be abrasive and is not shy to make his feelings known. Faced with a chance at redemption, he has to learn to accept the duty fate has granted him and the purpose he now holds.

Inspector Barneswell is a minor antagonist for season 1 of the Sedisverse. He is an adult male in his early 30s with a British accent (preferably)

Barneswell is a corrupt cop working within the Southgates police station. Having sold his services to the local mob, he is actively working to kidnap witnesses, gather information and destroy evidence that could threaten his real employers. He maintains a friendly, helpful and even charming facade for his work colleagues, though has an air of arrogance to him, knowing he is protected.

He maintains a cheery personality and is not afraid to step up for others when the need comes.

Clives is a member of the Southgates Police force, a particular notorious district of London for its gang violence and mob influence. Clives has managed to wade through it largely unscathed, the kind of person who keeps his head down and just does his job without making waves or drawing unwanted attention. He is largely non confrontational, lacking the fighting spirit of his peers or the ambition of the traitors among his stations ranks. As his confidence grows, he begins to take the lead, inspired by the bravery of others.

Haynes is a dedicated officer working in one of the most notorious areas of London. He is diligent, friendly and dutiful, tasked with locating and stopping a vigilante arsonist. Engaged to be married, he is unaware his fiance is actually a mob boss using him for information. Drawn into a major rescue operation, he is almost killed, only waking up later to find he has partly mutated and that his fiance is missing. Determined to find her at any cost, he risks it all to track down not only her,  but also the vigilante that nearly killed him and the corruption in the heart of his own police station.

He is calm, measured and rarely- if ever - raises his voice, showing emotion only to offer a friendly or regretfully disappointed face. He is not there to be cruel, or to be evil, but simply to do his job, with no qualms of morals or sensibilities.

John is one of 4 gas workmen sent into the tunnels under London to repair a reported gas leak. He is sarcastic, childish and skittish, disliking having to work in the stinking sewers and flooded tunnels. What he and the others find there leaves a permanent horrifying scar on them all, and John quickly becomes an emotional wreck for the experience.

Kale is a government minister in charge of overseeing the governments response to the rising superpower threat. Her perspective is that individuals with powers can be harnessed and put to public service, though she fears her work may lead to those individuals becoming enslaved. However, she reasons that is a better alternative than their being hunted down. She is manipulative and not above coercion to get results.

Mrs Salmon is the mother of one of the lead protagonists and represents an emotional anchorpoint for the character. She is residing in a carehome and suffering from a progressive mental disorder, eroding her sense of self. She has spent years fighting for her son in court battles and hoping to see him again. When she does she is overwhelmed and overjoyed, but most of all wants to see him happy. She is intended as the voice of his conscience, guiding him to make the right choices.

She is a prim, proper manager, with a strong sense of the way things should be done (her way), and how the patients should be treated (out of sight). She is not openly malicious or cruel, but is controlling and easily flustered when things dont go the way she intended. She is neither caring, nor motherly in her approach to healthcare, and instead sees her role as that of a head mistress of some prestigious school, or the upper management of a floor looking to impress her superiors at the expense of her subordinates.

Paul is the elder brother of one of the main protagonists. By contrast to his brother, Paul is highly successful and something of a playboy. He frequently takes drugs, drinks, smokes, gambles and so on. He is also openly having an affair with his brother's wife, knowing his brother is too cowardly to confront him over it. He is something of a bully, taking advantage of his brother's weakness of spirit to exploit him and get what he wants. He exudes a laid back, uncaring attitude, with no regard for others as he satisfies his own whims.

The Pidgeon lady is a strange woman living in the derelict complex of the Blocks. Something of a seer or prophetess, she is spoken of in fearful awe by the other residents. Dispensing wisdom and prophecy, she directs the fate of others, always knowing far more than she ever should. In truth there is a dark secret behind her power, a reason for the attention she draws from dark Fae, something she as yet keeps close to her chest.

He has fully embraced his role among the miners, championing their cause for workers rights. Vitaly holds a no nonsense attitude to life, maintaining loyalty as the most important trait a person can have.
