Scarlets Letter | A Gacha Club Mini Series
Project Overview
Hi Everyone!
I am currently looking for Voice Actors for my new Gacha Club Mini Series 'Scarlets Letter'. This project has been a long time in the making and at this very moment, we are looking for four (4) main voice actors who will appear throughout the whole series. This project is expected to be quiet lengthy as it will be fully animated so we're looking for the mains to be with us till the end.
REQUIREMENTS
Please state your name in the beginning of the audition
MUST be 13+ and have Discord as this will be our main point of communication
Please submit all auditions in Mp3. or wav. Format
Do not edit your audio aside from noise reduction, normalization and compression
Please do not submit more than 3 takes of each line
Please include your discord in your description
ABOUT SCARLETS LETTER
Scarlets Letter is about two childhood friends, Scarlet and Hunter who through a misunderstanding instigated by her bully Taylor, lose touch with one another at a very young age. Scarlet, the namesake of the series and main female protagonist gets into a car accident which results in her losing all her memories. Due to the severity of her injuries, Scarlet is transferred to a larger hospital in a different city where she later meets Ethan who is recovering from a sports injury at the same hospital Scarlet is transferred to and they become close when Ethan learns that Scarlet had lost all her memories from her past. Five years later, Ethan is offered a basketball scholarship in the very same town Scarlet is from and the two return in hopes to Scarlets memories. There, she is met with her past that know her...but to their dismay, she has no recollection of them.
DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
The deadline for auditions is December 20, 2020. We'll notify voice actors who have been cast in roles by the first week of January 2021 as the deadline falls around the holidays and Mr. Kurie and I will be busy with our families at the time. I will contact you via Discord with the script and let you know when I will require the lines as we will be casting all the minor roles during a certain period.

Scarlet is one of the main female leads and is the namesake of this series. She gets into a car accident which results in her losing all her memories of her past. Scarlet was prone to bullying due to her outgoing and extroverted personality but ugly looks as a child. She starts of shy and soft spoken in the beginning but eventually opens up more throughout the series as she regains her memories through a series of flashbacks.

The voice actor for Scarlet should be able to pull off two tones of voice as there will be many flashbacks in the series which require her to be her younger self. Scarlet should be someone with a medium tone but soft like Moana or Jamie Sullivan from a Walk to Remember.

Hunter is one of the leading male protagonist. He and Scarlet are childhood friends and grew up as next door neighbors. He is popular amongst his peers due to his brains and confidence. Upon Scarlets disappearance, Hunter turns into a more reserved person, only showing his true self to his best friend. Despite all that, Hunter is still admired by his peers and is in the running for captain of the basketball team where he has a tendency to butt heads with his kind of rival Ethan.

The voice actor for Hunter should be able to pull off two tones as he will be included in many of Scarlets flashbacks as the unknown young boy she sees as she tries to regain her memory. Hunter is someone with a medium tone, like Landon Carter from a Walk to Remember and a toned down version of Aladdin (1992 Disney version).
YOUNG HUNTER
(gasps at the scene, thoughts in his head/disbelief)
It- it must have fallen off on her way home. Heh.. clumsy Scarlet, always dropping things everywhere she goes...
(taunting)
Is that a threat new kid? *tsk* You should really know your place around here.
(breathless, shocked, awe, uncertain)
Scarlet…?
Ethan is the other main male of the series and the most static. He meets Scarlet at the rehabilitation center where he’s recovering after a basketball injury and she’s recovering from the accident. Ethan is Hunters main obstacle in the series as Hunter does not know his direct association with Scarlet except that he always seems to be around in the right place at the right time. To Scarlet, Ethan is a big brother figure and is very protective of Scarlet once he learns that she lost all her memories in the car accident. He’s one of the first to connect the dots between Scarlet and Hunter but keeps it to himself since he doesn’t want to hurt Scarlet too much by triggering her memories.

The voice actor for Ethan should be someone with a medium to deep tone like Shang from the original Disney Mulan or Kristoff from Frozen.
*Sigh* Look.. it’s one thing to play the victim and cry wolf but lying? That’s one thing I don't tolerate. *Looks to Scarlet, speaking in a comforting tone* You don’t have to buy anything, okay?
(Stating) Your friend over there was the one who started it. You on the other hand should walk away before you get hurt.
(neutreal and even) If you weren't so focused on your phone, then your expensive sweater wouldn't have been ruined when you walked into my friend.
Taylor is the antagonist of the series. Growing up, she had always hated Scarlet due to her connection to Hunter and eventually sabotages their friendship. She’s the mean girl of the series but karma eventually gets to Taylor which causes her to change a new leaf and eventually, she receives her own happy ending.

The voice actor for Taylor will have to be able to pull off two tones as she is featured throughout the series as a young girl in Scarlets flashbacks. She is essentially who I describe as Sharpay Evans from High School Musical meets Regina George of Mean Girls. This was a voice that was actually one of the hardest to describe because Regina George is that perfect mean girl while Sharpay is literally who Taylor is as a character.

(confused/hurt)
H-Hunter..? You can’t be serious right now.. you’re really leaving me for her?!
(confused, agitated)
Friend? Friend?! Well your FRIEND was standing in the middle of the cafeteria. She should've seen me coming and moved out of the way. Who even are you? Another new kid from outa town?
(gushing)
Yep! He led our middle school team and took home first place at Nationals last year. I was there watching the whole time cause I managed the team.
