Scarlet Row Abridged (A Saints Row Parody Series)

Project Overview

What is This Project About?

This is a Saints Row Parody Series, featuring Saints Row 2, Saints Row 3, Saints Row 4, and Saints Row: Gat out of Hell. (Other gameplay featuring Skyrim and The Sims may also be used as needed.) Gameplay will be captured using cutscenes from all of the games, as well as gameplay footage with voiceovers. 

The Saints Row series has always been a passion of mine, and with Saints Row 5 coming up, I wanted to do a little side project to not only celebrate my love for the series, but to have some fun featuring my favorite characters throughout the Saints Row series. I hope that you all will enjoy this little project of mine!


How long is the series?

We are hoping to have a ten to twelve episode season, depending on scheduling, how fast people submit their lines, and how popular the episodes become.


When is the deadline?

The current deadline of December 28th is only a site requirement. You can still submit auditions for any open roles past this date, and we will be in contact with you afterward.

Rules and Guidelines:

1. Must have a Discord account. 

2. Must have great to decent microphone quality. If not, please let me know before hand.

3. This is not a one and done project. You must be willing to commit to this long-term. 

4. Please be able to communicate with me on when you can be able to submit your lines.

4. If you are unable to continue with the project, either due to lack of interest, personal or professional matters, please let me know. If you do not have communication with me and I am unable to contact you, you will be recasted. Please keep this in mind!

5. Any drama with any member of the cast or crew will not be tolerated. If you have any issues, let me know as soon as possible and we can work anything out if necessary.

6. Have fun! I want this to be fun for everyone involved! And if you haven any questions or concerns, please let me know as soon as possible!

    Hey there everyone! Thank you so much to all of you who have supported and have shown interest in Scarlet Row Abridged! It really means the world to me that so many of you are interested in this project! For those of you who have been cast and have not been sent an invite to the SRA Discord server, please let me know! Known as "The Scarlet Rose, Carmen Cortez has quickly become one of the top competitors in the world. Foul-mouthed, cocky, and confident, this Latina from the Bronx is never shy about saying how she feels about someone or something, even if it means ruffling a few feathers along the way. She has a no nonsense attitude on most occasions, but deep down, she is an emotionally scarred woman who has been through and continues to go through numerous traumatic experiences. She continues to fight for her family and the people she loves, while trying to find a way to gain the peace that she's searched for since birth. Also the boss of the infamous Third Street Saints, she has been able to tackle some of the baddest in the multiverse, even if it's just to try and fill the hole in her heart that so many traumatic experiences have caused her. Want a women who loves to crack adult themed jokes and curse explicitly without the fear of consequences, then this is your girl!

Formally known as "Dovahkiin", Claudio has taken a step back from his warrior ways, in order to settle down as the husband of Carmen Cortez. He is always committed to helping his family and friends, as well as his home of Whiterun in Skyrim, but he also doesn't mind helping The Saints with anything that they need also.

Johnny Gat ("The Badass")

Johnny Gat is a brash, sarcastic, hot-headed, self-righteous, trigger-happy man. He also has a habit of cheating death as he survived being shot in the knee by a shotgun and stabbed in the stomach with a sword, and has taken out many gang members and cops by himself. Gat seems to have nearly super-human strength as he punched Shogo's head through a grave stone and freed himself from a chair bolted to the ground that he was also tied to. In Saints Row, Gat has black hair with white dyed tips, but in the next game, it is all black.

  • "Behind me stands the broken husk of the Phillips Building. Once the proud--if not phallic--icon of Saints Row, the Phillips Building has since been changed into a destructive monument, sculpted by a group of deranged artists known collectively...as The Third Street Saints. I'm Jane Valderama, Channel 6 news."

  • "The celebrity of the 3rd Street Saints was put to a violent and destructive test in Stilwater. Patrons of a local bank were subjected to a mock hold-up by this internationally popular gang. However, excitement was replaced with panic when shots rang out and blood began to decorate the lobby. During the ensuing firefight, the bank's vault was ripped from the building, showering rubble down onto the bystanders below. The extent of the damage landed the Saints, like so many celebrities before them, in jail - at least for a few hours. This is Jane Valderamma with your Celebrity Crime News."

  • Putting me in charge of the brothels was the best idea King ever had. There's no way anyone else in Stilwater would've been able to control the girls the way I did. It brought in the money, it brought in the clients, and it would've been the backbone of the Vice Kings if Gat and all the Saints hadn't ruined it all.

  • King never had the control he thought he did over the Vice Kings. It was all me and Warren keeping things running. Well, mostly me. Warren's ego got just as big as Benjamin's in the end. He thought the two of us would rule the city. Guess he didn't know me like he thought he did.



  • Warren, Troy, Alderman Hughes... I had them all wrapped around my finger... they would have died for me. Come to think of it, I guess they did .

Carlos Mendoza

Carlos is an inmate at the Stilwater Penitentiary. He had a brother who was a member of the Saints and who told him about the boss, who had been blown up, put into a coma, and remained in the Penitentiary Hospital Ward for five years. After hearing that the boss has awoken, he gets himself stabbed on purpose and taken into the infirmary. After an exchange of words, he convinces her to escape with him. They break out of the infirmary after killing the doctor and the guards who stood in their way, and then escape the prison island on a boat. After their escape, she chooses to recruit Carlos as a lieutenant. 

  • Look, I know you think you’re a badass, but do you even know where you’re at? Without me you’ll be wandering around the prison for hours. Even if you manage to hide from the guards that long, and if you actually figure out how to make it outside these walls, you’re just gonna find out that you’re sitting on a goddamn island. And I’m pretty sure you can’t out swim the coast guard.

  • After Hughes was killed in that bombing of yours, Ultor picked up the pieces. Now they’re everywhere… on TV, on billboards, in stores… Hell, if you ever forget who Ultor is, just look towards Saints Row and you’ll see that fuckin’ eye sore.

  • Look, I know you didn’t ask for it, but my advice is to just keep your head down. The cops are looking for you, and a lots changed, I say ya go buy a beer and soak up as much information as you can.

Josh Birk is an actor who tags along with the 3rd Street Saints to study the gang's behavior in order for him to make his role in an upcoming movie based on the gang's adventures convincing. Josh has a crush on . Shaundi, but she does not return Birk's feelings, and finds him extremely annoyingHe is well-known for his role as Nyte Blade in a TV show of the same name about a vampire hunter-turned-vampire, who is hunted by an organization he once worked for.

Dane Vogel

Dane Vogel is Ultor's Head of Special Projects; later receiving a promotion to Chairman of the Board. On the outside, Vogel is a popular icon; ladies find him attractive and men applaud him for bringing order and reform to some of the most crime-ridden parts of the city. His actions gained him a great deal of respect and admiration among his peers. On the inside, Vogel is a twisted, power-hungry man who only wishes to satisfy his own selfish desires at the expense of others. In contrast to what he says, his goals are not truly aimed for the benefit of Stilwater, but for the glory of Ultor, and to ensure the company's financial success. Vogel has little care or concern for whatever he has to do to make things go his way, and is often cunning, devious, and ruthless in the execution of his schemes.

  • It's like my father said, if you're gonna build an ivory tower, you're gonna have to kill a few elephants.

  • "Know your limits". It was the best piece of advice my father gave me and I ignored it because I was a fucking idiot. I was the director of special projects for Ultor and I pissed it all away because my ambition got the better of me. The reality is that I'm a kingmaker, not a king. I'm not going to make that same mistake twice.

  • I'd be a liar if I didn't say I got a little pissed when the would-be president shot in me in the face. But after a couple years of reflection I realized something: they had the same look in their eyes that I have. They were driven.

A 25 year old female of Asian descent,she has a somewhat cold personality, at one point showing little compassion towards killing two Westside Rollerz she had just been conversing with,and at another throwing a man's lighter across the room after he offers to light her cigarette.

  • Putting me in the Rollerz was a smart move on Julius's part. We needed the intel, and I was the only tuner in the Saints. I knew when we staged that rescue at Donnie's shop I was in. Price owed me one for saving his best friend and didn't doubt me for a second. I probably should've been more careful about how often I passed the boss information, though...

  • I read Sharp wrong from the jump. I always knew he was coldhearted, but I just thought it was a lawyer thing. I didn't realize how sadistic he was. I'll never forget what he said to me: "I think it's time to unwrap you." I hope that bastard burns.



  • Donnie said I was his girl? Can you believe that? I mean, we were pretty close, but that never came up. We talked about engines, weight distribution, suspensions... But his girl? I never expected that. It was a nice surprise.

Fun Shaundi

Fun Shaundi embodies rebellion, drug abuse, and amoralism. Occasionally in her presence, the boss would witness her doing drugs. Fun Shaundi also has a non-chalant, sarcastic, mellow attitude and, while generally being weak in combat, she isn't non-violent, and wields weapons. She has many connections and friends within the drug business, and appears to have extensive knowledge on many aspects of the Loa Dust drug, which leads the boss to meeting her.

  • The moment I walked into that underground shithole the crew was setting up in, I knew it all had potential. So the Saints had been out of the game a while, so what. We had the boss and we had Johnny Gat, what more did we need? I knew I was a little rough around the edges, but I was willing to learn. Then the boss goes and throws me the Sons of Samedi. Now that was a drag.

  • I shoulda known dating that asshole was gonna end badly. Veteran Child...what kind of a name is that anyway? Sure, he had hook ups for some of the best drugs in Stilwater, but that's no excuse. And he comes and tries to kill me? Whatever. He didn't have a chance against the boss. I tried to warn him, but he never listened to me. Only the boss really did.

  • Damn we had some good parties after all that. Then again, I knew how to have a good time. A little Loa Dust, some beer bongs, some hackie sack and bam! Instant party. We all needed the distraction after taking over Ultor, and distractions are what I do best. I mean, what did any of us know about running a multi-billion dollar company after all? Though a few hits off the lightbulb later, we didn't really care.

Coming a long way from her stoner roots, Shaundi has become one of the sharpest, most well prepared member of the Third Street Saints. Hot-headed with a short temper, she is willing to be the "voice of reason" for the group, and tends to help The Boss a lot more than you would expect when it comes to missions. However, she also has a tenancy to be the most likely to be kidnapped in the group. Nevertheless, her brains and her beauty (especially her beauty) have landed her a notable reputation across Stillwater and Steelport.

  •  "Look I'm not proud of my past. Let's just say that those days are behind me and never bring it up again. Got it?"

  • It's amazing looking back on how I used to be: constantly baked out of my mind, always looking for the next party... You'd think after I got my own dating show I would've been even more of a train wreck, but doing TV is hard work. Who has time to go smoke up when they have to be on set at 6 a.m.?

  • Ever since that night on Loren's plane things haven't been the same. I used to be fun and carefree. I used to smile and laugh. Now, I just want everyone to pay for what the Syndicate did. Johnny didn't deserve to die like that. He was the toughest person I knew. And it's my fault. I should've gone back for him .

Sexy, seductive, and a CIA agent? Sounds like the perfect combination! Maya is one of Carmen's closest friends and has known her since college. They originally met at a bar one night has have hit it off ever since. She is known by many as "Carmen's First Love", but Carmen calls her "snow bunny". She grew up in Egypt, but moved to America and quickly became educated enough to be recruited into the CIA, where she first got knowledge of The Third Street Saints. But it wasn't until she met Carmen that she discovered that she was a part of the infamous gang also. But instead of trying to take them down like so many others, her love for Carmen allowed her to see past it and become a Saint herself.

  • (sounding heartbroken) Why are they so special to you? Why do you keep protecting them? Can't you see that they're using you? Why can't you see that I fucking love you Carmen?!

  • I guess you're back. Good. I'm glad. I would've celebrated a little more if you had told me you were coming back. Or even bothered to try and find me when you did.

Matt Miller ("The Hacker")

Matt Miller is the leader of the Deckers, and like Phillipe Loren, Killbane, Viola, and Kiki DeWynter a member of The Syndicate. He is an expert in all instances of cyber crime such as hacking, and is usually the guy whom the rest of the Syndicate goes to for such instances. Despite the grave threat he poses to the cyber community, Matt is timid and a physical weakling who relies on his intellectual strengths to deal with any adversaries. 

Matt Miller has a major obsession for technology, which he incorporates it into his clothing, such as a wrist band on his right arm which features a key pad and screen with a neon blue trim, and various high-tech features on his dark, neon blue, light-up jacket. He is a described Internet god but is socially awkward when out in the open.

  • I'd say it's a tough world for someone to live in, but I'd be lying. Well, if they were the god of the cyber world like I was that is. Put me in front of the latest technology and there wasn't anything I couldn't do. Even the FBI couldn't stop me, and believe me they tried. Kinzie Kensington came close, but a few additions to her file and some photos and even she couldn't come close to crashing my fun. Probably why I was recruited into the Syndicate in the first place.

  • Working for the Syndicate was a great job. That is until Phillipe Loren died, because Killbane was one scary psychopath. I mean, I watched him kill Kiki right in front of me, and right in front of her own sister! So I went after the Saints instead. Wrong choice on my part. But they let me live, and surprisingly so did Killbane. Only option then was to leave the country and hide.

  • How was I supposed to know that MI6 would end up offering me asylum just so they could pair me up with one of their operatives? I mean, Asha and I got along great, but now I had to work with the government instead of against it. Not usually my cup of tea. Still, I guess it's better than being hunted down by the Saints or Killbane. I just have to keep myself from pissing off a trained killer is all.

Viola is well endowed and is very pretty, having a buxom figure, wearing tight, black, form fitting clothing to accentuate her curves, much like her twin sister. 

Viola and her sister run finances for The Syndicate, having increased the Syndicate profits tenfold in Steelport. The DeWynters are also Philippe's personal assistants, managing his personal life and day-to-day business affairs, and are the heiresses to the leadership of the Syndicate and Morningstar.

  • Phillipe Loren was the first man to treat Kiki and I with respect. To him we were businesswomen, not a fetish. We were his right hand in the Syndicate and he was our mentor. His death meant we had to step up on our own. Too bad we never got the chance.

  • Fucking Murderbrawl tickets. That's what Killbane thought would make me feel better after he murdered Kiki. He took the Syndicate from us, then he took my sister! I vowed to get revenge no matter what I had to do, and no matter who I had to ask for help

  • I knew the Saints wouldn't believe me when I came to them for help. Oleg hated me for turning him into a science fair project, Zimos was still grumpy about the Pony Cart thing, Pierce never bothered to learn my name, and Shaundi was a vindictive bitch. It didn't matter though--the boss understood a thing or two about revenge.

Kinzie was a member of the FBI until she was dismissed for possessing what was claimed to be "manufactured evidence". The members of the press claim her to be paranoid.[12] She is also somewhat of a conspiracy theorist (though in some cases her theories are actually well founded). Kinzie is introduced as a socially awkward young woman who is asocial, witty, sarcastic and mock-serious. She is very lighthearted and youthfully cocky, mentioning that she finds the Deckers too easy to hack. Being an agoraphobic, she doesn't venture very often from her warehouse on her own and in the case that she does go out on her own, she goes out with other people. 

  • Ok, I'm going to say this again: Why did we work with Matt Miller! Did everyone forget what he did to me back before I joined the Saints? I mean come on, he set me up to be fired from the FBI and got all my ideas completely discredited just because they think I'm into kink! The truth of that aside, he ruined my life and now he's a "good guy"? This-- this just isn't fair!

  • First I told the FBI, then I told the Saints, THEN I told the President and the entire Secret Service and still they wouldn't listen. Now here we are, abducted by aliens and trapped in technology far beyond what we had on Earth. You know, if I'd only got the budget for my planetary defense system we wouldn't be stuck up here dealing with the Zin. I mean, it would ONLY have cost 3.1 billion. Hey, I tried to warn the military, but they didn't want to listen to the Press Secretary.

  • Oleg is one of the best things that ever happened to me and right now it feels like the worst. I'm up here trying to save us from captivity and psychological torture and all I can think about is him. He's the only one who ever truly understood what I was saying. I never thought I'd meet someone with an intelligence nearly matching my own who made me feel like I wasn't constantly missing something in my life. Now, I am. Now, I miss him...

Asha Odekar is an MI6 agent and special liason to the CIA. She initially did not believe in any of the abilities of The Saints, but mostly due to Matt Miller possibly giving her false information on them.

  • When Matt Miller came on as my field coordinator, he had a lot of opinions about the Third Street Saints. I've always liked Matt but I admit he's easily wounded and a bit tetchy when it comes to past offenses. Still, he managed to set some low expectations for that first mission with the Saints.

  • I'm a creature of habit, of structure, which doesn't fit well with the Saints' MO. They have their way of doing things, and at times I have no idea what they're thinking or of their infatuation with those god-awful Freckle Bitches hamburgers, but when it comes down to it, they get things done. That's impressive. And I'm not easily impressed.
