Project Overview

About the Project!

Sara’s School Life: The Animation is a fan-made animated series based on the original 2019 game Sara’s School Life, created by SaraDev.

The story follows Sara, the main character, as she looks out for herself and her brother Soma while dealing with six rivals at school. The show mixes everyday sibling moments with some challenges and conflicts that push the characters forward.

What We’re Looking For..

We’re looking for voice actors who can give these characters personality and energy. There are both lighthearted conversations and more serious moments, so having some range is a plus!

Why Join?

This is a passion project made out of love for the original game and the impact it’s had on me! If you enjoy bringing characters to life and being part of a creative project, this could be a fun opportunity. <3

  • Small Progress Update!

    We’re still grinding away! We took a short break to focus on some side-projects, but everything’s moving along nicely. Right now we’re mainly looking for voice actors, especially someone to play Sara, so feel free to audition if you’re interested!

    We’re also considering switching our animation workflow to Toon Boom. It’s not fully confirmed yet, but we want to test it out. Other options like Adobe Animate (What we were using before) and Moho are also on the table.

  • THIS PROJECT IS STILL ALIVE!

    For anyone who is still following is, first off-- we are so sorry for the lack of updates! we've currently be caught up in rewriting a bit of the story + REDESIGNING THE ENTIRE SHOW! So yeah, you could say we have our hands tied.

    But do not fear! we are still waiting for the deadline to end so we can pick our cast, looking forward to seeing you there!

  • We've been making HUGE progress!

    Hello everyone! While we’re waiting for submissions to open, we’ve been making steady progress on the show. The pilot script is now fully complete, and about 30% of its storyboard is finished! We’ve also introduced two new roles for background characters (designs still in progress). We'll see you soon. ;D
