Animators
My writer came up with ideas for the intro sequence. Choose one of the following to animate and submit when finished. Don't worry about deadline. I will extend if I must.
1. Qrow’s journal comes into view and is opened by a breeze that carries Summer’s two-toned rose. The book opens to the old image of Team STRQ. Then it transitions to the young Summer walking to Beacon and finding past Taiyang and Qrow fighting as usual, and breaks them up laughing. Then the intro turns to Raven with missing posters all over school behind her, with Pyke grieving and Summer comforting him. Then the transition goes dark as Ozpin stands with a giant masked person’s head behind him that foreshadows at the season’s villain. Then it fades back to Summer, Taiyang, Raven, and Qrow having fun at Beacon.
2. It starts with Qrow sitting alone by Summer’s gravestone with a drink and hand, and as he pours the camera follows the liquid into a pool of memory. The old picture of STRQ flies by the screen and clips to Summer trying to get everyone to stand still for the picture by the tree. As the white flashes it transitions through the teams of four introduced in the season; PINK, CYAN, JETT, GRAY, COLR, VIDN, ZINC, and MHOG with the background representing their color themes (pink cherry trees for Pink, the shore and ocean for Cyan, black boards and school room for Jett, Beacon behind Gray, nature near Beacon for Colr ((Color)), red forever forest for VIDN ((viridian)), grim behind Zinc, and wood behind Mhog ((Mahogany)).) Then it goes to the two masked villains in the background of the missing students.
3. The image of Summer’s gravestone alone as the days reverse (music reverses too?) in fast rewind. Then it transitions to Summer where the gravestone was, surrounded by false masks. As she breaks through them, they scatter and reveal nothing underneath the blank faced puppets. The screen moves to her angered silver eyes and transitions to Beacon, Ozpin welcoming the teams. Then it turns to STRQ sharing a dorm as Summer looks over a missing student poster in her hand with determination. Then the scene transitions to Ozpin talking with the students before the scene turns black and then red, with several TVs buzzing with the image of the masked villain that we saw Summer fighting at the beginning.
