Alternate RWBY
Project Overview
There will be future audition opportunities, if a character you want to voice is not listed we will surely post them in a future casting call.
We are creating a RWBY Abridged project (Alternate RWBY) but are in need of voice actors. Please don't audition unless you are willing to make a long-term commitment to the project as we wish to have people as dedicated to the project as we are. We plan on making it go through all, if not most, of the RWBY series. Most of the script is done so now we just need voice actors. There will be a Discord where everyone can get to know eachother. Thank you for reading, we encourage anyone to audition as the characters do not have to sound exactly like the actual show.

Ruby is the main character. She has a large ego and in terms of voice is more on the high-pitched side.
*frustrated and questioning* You don’t know the Avatar? One of the greatest shows of all time? *sigh* why am I not surprised?

*angry* I hope you get eaten by a grimm!
Weiss' voice is more on the high-pitched side. She can be bratty or extremely kind.
*cheerful* Anything for my team.
*angry* You did what?!
*offended* Get your hands off of me!
Blake's voice is more of a low-pitch compared to the average female voice. She can be monotone but there are instances where she is emotional.
*flirty* So, I hear you've been looking for me. *calmly* Well, at least that's what Weiss said.
*angry* You're really starting to get on my nerves!
*stressed* I really can't handle this right now. Anyone have a box? Some yarn? Come on give me something
*while giving Ruby a hug* Oh I'm so proud of you!
Yeah, that movie is the worst!
*mockingly* Wow Blake, looks like someone's getting yangry
Jaune is heartless and overconfident. His voice is more on the higher pitched side compared to the average male and sounds nervous almost. Similar to Shaggy from Scooby-Doo.
*confident* Well the name's Jaune Arc. Short, sweet, rolls off the tongue, ladies love it.
*angry* I know what I'm doing!
*sad* Look, can you at least humor me?
Nora is a very cheerful person, she has a high vocal range. For the most part her voice is high pitched.
*angry* Because Ren said so!
*cheerful* NORA SMASH!
*upbeat* I'm hurt! Sad! Maybe a little hungry
*hopeful* Look, things may be looking grim at the moment but we can do this
*cheerful* Yes of course!
*confused* Oh... so we're not doing that?
*cheerful* Well yeah! I want us to do this together
*stubborn* No you do it
*depressed* Well it was bound to happen one day
Sun tries to speak Spanish but doesn't understand it. His voice is like an upbeat surfer almost. He generally does speak in a cheerful voice.
Oh uh, annyeonghaseyo? (Pronunciation: an-nyong, ha seh, yoh)
*excited* Neptune said he was gonna take me to a Mexican restaurant for some sushi!
*scared* Uh, yeah, definitely. You've got it chief
Ozpin can be intimidating sometimes. His voice is more in the middle in terms of pitch. We would like a British accent but it is not necessary.
*commanding* Just do it
*calmly* You’re forgetting something.
*mockingly* Ha ha, how cute.
Cinder would preferably have a Bostonian accent, though if not that is okay. Her voice is a bit deeper compared to the average female.
*frustrated* I almost had them!
*upset* Really? You want me to go there?
*angry* They're getting away! Get the car!
Emerald is a bit of a doormat and can be shy. There are some times where she speaks up but she usually will not. Her voice is a lower-pitch,
*scared* Oh, right, I'm sorry
*worried* Of course Cinder, right away
Are you okay?
Mercury is a very sarcastic and sassy person, his voice is more of a medium pitch.
*mockingly* Ooh, Emerald! Master thief! Please don't take my money! I barely have enough to get by!
*sarcastic* Learning is SO MUCH fun.
*frustrated* I HATE waiting.
Cardin sounds like he could be a bully, he has a deeper voice.
Oh, hey Jaune! My best friend
*dreamily* I can see it now Jaune, me and you, sometime in the near future
*disgusted* No! Not Pyrrha
Torchwick is intelligent, his voice is higher pitched and he often mocks.
Of course I'm sure. It's dust you fools.
*frustrated* Dammit Cinder. We have to leave!

*cheerful* Salutations!

Neptune speaks Spanish. He has a higher pitched voice.

Oobleck talks quickly, his voice is more of a middle pitch.

Velvet is very enthusiastic but is soft spoken. She can be shy.
