Runaway Samurai
Project Overview
A samurai is supposed to be strong, brave and fearless. Ryusuke is anything but that. After the strongest and most ruthless samurai in Edo-period Japan destroys his village, he finds a way to escape...to the modern world. Now he has to deal with feeling like a coward for abandoning his village, on top of adjusting to this "futuristic" time period. Fortunately, he meets someone to help him.
Lilly's parents always taught her to help people, no matter who they are. Apparently, that includes a samurai from ancient Japan who literally falls out of the sky. All Lilly wants to do is help Ryusuke move on and start over in Morningstar City.
They develop a friendship (and feelings for each other) and Ryusuke protects the citizens of Morningstar City like he did his village. However, an enemy from his past threatens his future. Will he find the strength within...or will he run away again?
