Project Overview
Slightly Insulting, a YouTube channel specializing in Machinimas with 14,324 subscribers, is thrilled to announce an open casting call for Rot and Rise: Remaster! This project is a reimagining of our original production, featuring a brand-new cast, updated visuals with enhanced shaders, and a refined, more mature script.
We’re dedicated to bringing this story back to life in a way that’s better than ever, and we need talented voice actors to join us on this journey. This is a passion project, offering a fantastic opportunity for actors to showcase their skills and gain experience in a supportive, long-term creative environment.
About the Project:
Rot and Rise: Remaster is a cinematic Minecraft Machinima set in a post-apocalyptic world, exploring themes of survival, humanity, and resilience in the face of chaos. With a mix of action, drama, and character-driven storytelling, this remaster builds on the original while introducing deeper emotional layers and a polished visual style.

2) Ability to perform serious, cinematic, and potentially emotional acting.

4) Ability to yell if character requires it and still retain high quality.

After taking over a survival camp, The Stalker now rules with an iron fist, crushing anyone who dares to challenge their authority. This role requires a sinister blend of charisma, menace, and control.
Character Description:The Stalker is a calculating and oppressive leader who thrives on fear and power. While outwardly calm and composed, their words carry an undercurrent of danger. Their presence commands attention, and they possess a chilling ability to justify their cruelty in the name of survival.
