Project Overview

Hello everyone, I'm Lord Daedryth! I make abridged parodies and anime related content on YouTube. I normally don't do casting calls, but wanted to get a completely fresh cast and crew together for this project. Let's all have fun and make a great parody!

Requirements:
1) Must be okay with being live directed. I may not do this initially, but if the lines aren't coming back as needed I'll definitely need to hop on call.

2) Have an XLR mic and pop filter to record with!!! Or worst case scenario: a USB mic over $100. Audio quality is really important of course.

3) Long term commitment! I may turn this in to a series. Not sure yet, but let's assume that's the plan for now. I may need your voice talent over the coming (months/years). Abridged series tend to be long term projects so I'll try my best to create a fun and friendly atmosphere for everyone.

4) Be able to meet deadlines. I typically prefer a 2-3 week turnaround, but am usually understanding about delays as long as you stay in contact and update me every few days.

*Previous voice over experience is a plus, but not specifically required.

  • Begun Casting/Added Roles

    Hey everyone! I've had a quick response and was able to cast a few CCC members that really nailed the part already. I didn't want to double cast anyone so I'm still in need of auditions for Mirellia, Malty, Erhard and especially Beloukas! I'm still considering options on Naofumi and hope to hear more auditions for him. He's the leading role, so we really need someone with a excellent range who can yell. I've added a number of minor characters as well: Priest 1+2 as well as Royal Guard 1-4. Although they are cast as minor characters, they still have a good number of lines and require a lot of yelling. Thanks for all your hard work!

Naofumi is the shield hero.  He kind of switches between happy go lucky and full on prick.

  • Legend tells of the four cardinal heroes summoned from another world to save the realm from catastrophic waves of destruction. After the first wave devastated the kingdom of Melromarc, the king sought the aid of these Legendary Heroes. Their weapons of choice: a sword, a spear, a bow, and a shield.

  • Ya know, some people dream of being a hero... but let tell ya... reality hits you like a cold stone floor coming toward you at the speed of gravity. (falling from the sky toward a cold stone floor) AHHHHHHHHH!!! OOF! (impact)

  • Time to greet the new day with a smile and sheer determi...nation… Wait a second... Where’s my stuff? Myne! Where’s my stuff?! Did you steal my stuff?! You totally stole my stuff didn’t you?!
