Niko Bellic is the cynical, war-scarred protagonist of Grand Theft Auto IV. A Serbian veteran of the Yugoslav Wars, he travels to Liberty City to escape his criminal past and pursue the American Dream—only to find himself dragged into the local underworld by his naive cousin, Roman.

  • Origin: Eastern Europe (Bosnia/Serbia)

  • Background: Former infantryman and helicopter pilot traumatized by the horrors of war

  • Motivation: Seeking a fresh start and hunting the traitor who betrayed his military unit

  • Pragmatic & Cynical: He is weary of the world, holds a deeply pessimistic view of society, and frequently criticizes the concept of the American Dream.

  • Reluctant but Deadly: Although he loathes violence and yearns for peace, he is highly lethal, fiercely protective of his loved ones, and will do whatever it takes to ensure their survival.

  • Contradictory: He is trapped in a cycle of the very criminal activities he detests, frequently questioning his own morality and actions.

Reze is a major antagonist and fan-favorite character in the manga and anime series Chainsaw Man. She is a human-devil hybrid who operates as a ruthless assassin, possessing the ability to transform into the Bomb Devil and create devastating explosions.

  • Origins: Raised in a covert Soviet military program, Reze was subjected to intense training and horrific experiments as a child super-soldier.

  • Powers: By pulling the pin attached to her choker, she transforms. She possesses near-immortality and can blow up parts of her own body without dying, allowing her to regenerate.

  • Infiltration: She poses as a sweet, cheerful cafĂ© waitress to capture Denji (the Chainsaw Devil).

  • Tragic Conflict: Though her initial approach was a mission, she and Denji develop genuine romantic feelings. Torn between her deadly programming and her desire to abandon her missions to live a normal life with Denji, she becomes one of the series' most complex and tragic figures.

  • Appearance: A towering, muscular, green-skinned humanoid resembling an octopus, with signature tentacles dangling in front of his face.

Richard B. Riddick is a ruthless, highly skilled antihero and escaped convict from the science-fiction action franchise The Chronicles of Riddick. Portrayed by Vin Diesel, he is one of the last of the Furyan warrior race. He is instantly recognizable by his glowing, night-vision eyes, heavily guarded past, and instinctual, animal-like survival skills.

  • Visionary: His eyes provide perfect vision in complete darkness, though they require him to wear dark, tinted welding goggles to protect them from bright light.

  • Deadly Combatant: He possesses exceptional mobility, stealth, and survival abilities, and often dispatches enemies using improvised weapons or his bare hands.
