Welcome one and all to RegretfulDub!!
RegretfulDub is a project where voice actors, artists, and editors all work together to create Regretevator themed voice acting videos, including comic dubs and gaming videos!!
The goal of RegretfulDub is to make comic dubs and gaming videos to post on YouTube, TikTok, and Tumblr. This project may take a long time, so please be willing to be patient with the project managers. Not all voice actors need to participate in gaming videos if they don't want to, but voice actors will be required to submit lines for comic dubs if chosen.
RegretfulDub already has some voice roles filled, so not all of the characters will be on this listing. If we ever need any more characters that aren't here, I'll add them in the future.

Must have Discord for communication (Please leave your Discord username in your audition description!!)
Must be somewhat a fan of Regretevator / have knowledge about the game itself!!
Must be willing to work with other team members and join a Discord server with others.

Bive is an extremely paranoid conspiracy theorist, with most of said dialogue consisting of her rambling about various things, occasionally to nobody in particular. Bive believes she is being hunted by a corrupt government staffed entirely by circus clowns for what she knows, and is scared of clowns because of this.

Voice Description:
Bive is one of the few characters who has a canon voice, however we're open to interpretation!! Bive's voice is loud and sparatic, constantly yelling as she spouts her theories. I imagine her voice to be somewhat scratchy and androgynous, however feel free to do your own takes on it.

DrRETRO is a friendly, happy NPC who takes her job as a doctor seriously, often concerning herself with the health of others. This can be seen in her interactions with characters like Infected and PartyNoob. Despite this, she doesn't hesitate to kill players who annoy her, as well as random NPCs if the elevator happens to be too full.

Despite DrRETRO speaking only in cat noises in-game, we are looking for someone who can supply her with a voice!! You don't need to only speak in meows to be able to voice them, if you'd like to speak normally that works as well. I imagine DrRETRO's voice to be soft, caring, and somewhat professional, as she is a doctor.

Folly is intensely cruel, and will often fantasize about killing other NPCS or bring up traumatic events that have happened to them in her dialogue. Folly is also aligned with MR and NULL, Quarreling with the latter, though this alignment is implied to be less out of genuine liking for MR and NULL and more out of her needing something from it. Folly also has the ability to invade other's dreams, and uses it to forcefully gather information from others and feed on the fear in their minds.

I imagine Folly's voice as deep, feminine leaning, and somewhat ethereal. Feel free to add effects to her voice, as they most likely will be added anyways.

Gnarpy is a Gnarpian war general on xer home planet. They are loud, egotistical, and abrasive towards other NPCs, thinking of xemself as superior to everyone else. Unlike Pest, who acts in a similarly antisocial manner, Gnarpy shows no soft side or good intentions in their interactions with other characters, having very few positive interactions with other NPCs, with the only exceptions being STAT.

Lampert has a huge hatred for germs and likes to stay clean and organized, with most of his dialogue consisting of him complaining about germs and dust. He does not tolerate getting any germs on him, to the point where he insists that other less clean characters stay away. He is extremely blunt, as seen when he tells PartyNoob that their multiple birthdays are childish to their face.

Lampert's voice is somewhat monotone, and a little judgmental. In the Regretevator shorts, Lampert has a canon voice, but it's also open to interpretation!

Mozelle is generally kind to others, speaking in a formal if slightly pompous manor. She can be very curt when angered and will not hesitate to say something rude if she thinks it's true. She can also be somewhat air-headed, as seen in her dialogues with Lampert. Mozelle consistently refers to herself as a princess, and will sometimes refer to others as subjects and similar titles reminiscent of the Medieval era and the Renaissance.

I imagine Mozelle's voice is royal, yet high pitched. Personally she could also be British if you'd like to try that!

NULL is a “helperbot” robot operated by a hivemind and uses the pronoun “we” to refer to itself. He speaks eloquently and mysteriously, often confusing other NPCs. It often speaks of the "prime" and refers to ascension, and the Greek figure known as Icarus, which are all a part of his undisclosed plan. It is currently unknown what this plan is. He works alongside Folly and MR, though he often quarrels with the former. Likely due to his nature as a robot created to serve, NULL is deeply focused on fully using his potential; as such, he judges and dislikes other characters who he deems as not using their potential fully or those who stay stagnant.

PartyNoob is a happy-go-lucky individual with a love and borderline obsession for partying. Most of their dialogue relates to partying, birthdays, or something related to those topics. They present as somewhat childish and silly, and tend to be oblivious and naïve to the world around them. Their constant happiness annoys the more serious or grumpy NPCs, especially Gnarpy and Pest.

Voice Description:
PartyNoob is one of the few characters who has a canon voice actor, which can be heard in the TPOT x Regretevator video. They are happy-go-lucky, high pitched, and mumble a bit.

Personality-wise, most of Reddy's dialogue pertains to Red Ball Diner, which is the company that created them. Reddy will often take sentences as literal questions relating to issues regarding Red Ball Diner, as well as advertise various Red Ball Diner events or items unprompted. Reddy will sometimes even act as if it is in Red Ball Diner despite being in the elevator, and will often fail to recognize other nonhuman NPCs as sentient, usually mentioning that animals are not allowed in Red Ball Diner when they are near. Presumably due to lack of maintenance on Red Ball Diner's part, it stutters very frequently on its own words.

Spud is an extremely reserved and shaky character. He seems to be afraid of most things and often tries to avoid confrontation. Additionally, as seen in his dialogue, he constantly feels sick. Its speech is punctuated by the word "spud".

STAT is very nervous and would outwardly brash toward other NPCs, never mincing words when she speaks to them. She values her own survival over anything else and is quick to distrust and get annoyed at other NPCs. However, she has formed an odd friendship with Gnarpy, possibly due to their mutual dislike of everything and everyone in the Regretevator. It is implied that this distrust is due to her homeworld being destroyed in an unknown event, as well as her computer being destroyed by the players. She also tends to question the unfamiliar places that the elevator takes her to.

Wallter is a construction worker that mainly builds with concrete and bricks, and is particularly obsessed with drinking Wet Cement. Wallter is well-meaning, polite, and extremely formal in his speech. His obsession with concrete forms a rift between him and Mannequin_Mark, who prefers wood as a building material and heavily dislikes concrete. As seen in his dialogue, he refuses to believe that Wet Cement is in any way harmful, and tends to insist that others try it out. Wallter seems to like cats, though he doesn't like being gifted Kitty, as seen by his interactions with Gnarpy.

She wears a curved purple top hat with a white ring, along with an open suit of the same purple color and a purple shirt. She also wears lighter purple pants and black shoes. Mach has a neutral facial expression along with red glowing pupils and always seems to have her hammer with her, which has a long brown handle, black grip, and bright red head. Mach also has the girl torso.

Guppy has an orange head and fish tail coupled together on a body that looks like ocean water, with a smaller orange fish inside his torso. They have two rectangular orange antenna coming out of their orange hair, with a big orange bow on the back of his head. His "ears" are big orange fins with lighter and darker spots on them. He also has top surgery scars with gills underneath.
