Rayman 2: The Great Escape - Remastered Prologue [Fan Dub]

Project Overview

Hey lovely people! I'm Danae, a composer and technical audio designer for games, and a huge fan of the early Rayman franchise. To enhance my portfolio and give back to the community, I'm working on a remastered version of the prologue music from Rayman 2: The Great Escape, and in this process I'm looking for someone to narrate the lines from the prologue. In the PSX and PS2 versions of Rayman 2, the lines are narrated by Ly the fairy, a supporting character who provides Rayman with new powers during the game. She tells about the events that happened prior the start of the game, leading up to Rayman's capture by the antagonistic Robo-Pirate army. The provided video shows the PSX version of the prologue, of which I'm reimagining the first two minutes.

Feel free to audition with any of the lines that are listed below or with your demo reel. There is a small budget available for the exact 98 words to be read out, and you'll be credited in and along with the final audio and video! Thanks for your time!

Notes when auditioning

  • Please make sure your audio is sounding nice and professional (use a decent microphone, no clipping noises, minimum room reverb, the usual things).
  • Please record in 48 kHz mono WAV format.
  • Additional contact and sending files can be via mail or Discord.
  • Payment will be preferably via PayPal, or SEPA bank transfer if you're in the EU.
