We're looking for voice talent to bring Raindart to life! (and a composer!) The script for the pilot is completed, so when all characters have voices we can start recording & production soon after voices are cast
About the project:
Raindart is a psychological thriller following the exiled magical girl Kamine hiding under a new name, trying to keep herself and her friends from being turned into prey animals. Once a magical girl looses a battle, they lose their humanity once and for all.
We plan the project to release in 2027.
Important things to note before auditioning!
Good character acting is more important than the perfect voice! Please prioritize the character's personality over anything else when auditioning.
Audio quality is a deal-breaker - make sure you have a good microphone with no background noise, reverb or popping.
Communication is key! Please be able to communicate and take constructive feedback and friendly cooperation.
Include in your auditions text if you'd be up for being the voice for other short content or potential future episodes.
Please include if you are a minor or an adult in your submission! It won't impact your audition but it saves us time to know beforehand !
Once the voice actors are cast:
We will do a short table read so every actor can say hi and have fun! The final lines should then be delivered within 1-2 weeks of the table read. 🌹
You'll be free to use the Live2D model of the character you voice!
Voice Actors will receive prominent credits in the pilot
I want to submit the pilot to festivals and such, but they have pretty heavy requirements so contracts will be needed (Just a heads up)
