Psychology based YouTube channel
Project Overview
I'm building a YouTube channel that makes psychology feel approachable and fascinating. Each video explores a topic like cognitive biases, attachment styles, or why we procrastinate, using real research and everyday examples. I need a narrator to be the consistent voice of the channel.
The ideal voice is warm, clear, and conversational, like a curious friend who happens to know a lot. Not a stiff lecturer, and not an over-the-top announcer. You'll occasionally cover sensitive topics like anxiety or trauma, so a calm, thoughtful delivery matters. :D
Primary voice of the channel. Narrates all videos in a warm, conversational, credible style, like a curious friend explaining how the mind works. Handles technical terms smoothly and shifts to a calmer, gentler tone for sensitive topics.

Have you ever known something was bad for you, and done it anyway? That uncomfortable tug-of-war has a name: cognitive dissonance. It happens when our actions don't match our beliefs, and our brains scramble to make sense of the gap. Today, we're going to look at why it happens, and what it says about how the mind protects itself.
