Press Pass is an upcoming visual novel game that follows the story of Lucas Winston, a journalist working at a newspaper company.
Press Pass is set in the 1980s, immersing players in a time of significant cultural and political change. With attention to detail in recreating the fashion, music, and attitudes of the era, players will feel transported back in time to a bygone era. The 80s setting adds an extra layer of authenticity to the game's storyline and characters.
The game is divided into two chapters, each with its unique style and cast of characters.
As players progress through the game, they will be introduced to a colorful cast of characters, each with their own unique personality and dialogue.
With a wealth of content, players can expect to experience up to 100 playable days, with important events fully voiced and around 15 lines for unvoiced dialogue per character.
We are considering a crowdfunding campaign to pay voice actors for their work. If the campaign is successful, the final product will be a paid game of higher quality. However, if the campaign does not reach its funding goal, or doesn't happen at all, the game will remain free but with a lower level of quality.
We are excited to announce that an upcoming free demo of Press Pass will soon be available for players to get a taste of what's to come in the full game. The demo will give players a glimpse into the exciting world of journalism, and showcase the unique cast of characters and engaging storyline that awaits them.
With the demo, players will have the opportunity to experience a portion of the first chapter of the game, and get a sense of the different styles and personalities of the characters. This will help players decide if they would like to support the crowdfunding campaign to help make the final product even better.
Our goal with the demo is to give players a taste of what they can expect in the full game, and to give excitement for the release of Press Pass. We believe that the demo will provide players with an enjoyable and engaging experience that will leave them wanting more.

Info: John is not the smartest character in this story, to say the least. He is the definition of dumb, and unhelpful. Kind of like a distraction to the team.
