Project Overview
Everyone presents themselves one way to the world, but that doesn't mean their public face matches their true one. Some people need just a little push to let that show. Others, well, they need someone else to push them.
It all starts with Tsukasa.
It all ends with everyone.

Welcome to Project Sekai: Ever Changing Connections! This project is a dub of my fanfic series, which is ongoing and will feature every character having at least one story focusing on them. Currently, as of this posting, six stories are up! I hope to eventually dub the entire series once it's complete and share the dubbed version on Archive of Our Own alongside the original written work.
RULES:
1. This series contains swearing as well as triggering topics. All warnings are included on the stories themselves, so please check the tags before going even further. Each story is currently rated T, so I'd prefer to have everyone in the cast be in that age range. I'd also rather not trigger anyone or even worse, a child. So please take care to read every tag.
2. Before you audition, I would like you to read the original series (link down below) so you have an idea of where I am taking the characters and what other characters exist outside the main units. Reviews are not required, but always appreciated. If you read the fic, then you're all set to audition!
3. You must have a Discord. This series has a Discord Server, of which I am happy to provide the link, but if you do not have server space then joining is not required. But you must have Discord so that I may receive the recordings should you be casted. So if you're comfortable, feel free to share your Discord below!
4. This is more of a rule for Discord then here, but I felt the need to include it. Nothing NSFW, racist, homophobic, etc. will be tolerated at all. Please respect this. This includes for my own changes to the characters in the story. If you do not like the direction I am taking them, then please feel free to ignore me. I want to create a safe environment where everyone has fun on this project.

The guitarist and vocalist of Leo/need, Ichika is a childhood friend of Saki, Shiho and Honami. She cares for them a great deal and missed all of them deeply when they were separated.

(introductory) Well, since you already know Honami, I'm Hoshino Ichika.
(shocked) Wait, you're Saki's little brother?
(excited) I have a good feeling about today's performance!
The keyboardist of Leo/need, Saki is childhood friends with Ichika, Shiho and Honami. She is also Tsukasa's younger sister and a childhood friend of Toya. Her heart is far too big for her own good.

(smiling, hint of bittersweet) I’m glad! I know Toya-kun’s busy, but I’m happy you have him by your side.
(laughing, excited) Aw! You don’t have to use honorifics with me, you’re my oneesan now after all!
(Narration, mournful) And…in her darkest moments, Saki would wish that she could just die so she’d never cost her parents a single yen. She never spoke these thoughts aloud, but when she was stuck in the hospital, waiting endlessly, it felt like the only way out.
The bassist of Leo/need, Shiho is childhood friends with Ichika, Saki and Honami. Her strict nature is due to her deep love and passion for music.

(blunt) You're Yoisaki Kanade, then? Saki always called you ‘Kanade-oneesan.
(curious, concerned) Saki, what are you smiling about?
(reassuring) There's no need to rush. Practice makes perfect.
The drummer of Leo/need, Honami is childhood friends with Ichika, Saki and Shiho. She is very kind and loves her friends more than she can say aloud.

(surprised) I was wondering why you didn’t come out last time, but I think I understand now. How did you end up living with Saki?
(laughing) Sorry, sorry! I was just thinking about how similar the two of you are.
(excited) Everyone should be here soon. Hehe, I can't wait.
A member of the idol group MORE MORE JUMP!, Minori is cheerful and hard working to a fault. Always ready with a smile, she wants to give everyone hope for tomorrow!

(cheerful, beaming) Good morning! I’m just excited for class and practice with Haruka-chan, Airi-chan and Shizuku-chan!
(angry, screaming) Don’t talk to me! Neechan could be dying and it’s all your fault!
(lost to hopeful) Minori had been lost for so many years, watching as Ena drew and Akito played soccer, with no goal of her own in mind. She just…gave up, just as her father expected all of his children to do. Then Minori saw Kiritani Haruka on TV and everything changed.
A member of the idol group, MORE MORE JUMP!, Haruka quit being an idol because she lost sight of why she started. Thanks to Minori, Haruka has returned to spreading hope wherever she can.

(soft, happy) Even still, we’re definitely making a difference. I can feel it.
(relieved, a confession) I’m glad. You’ve looked so sad recently. I was getting worried.
(firm) With every passing day, I'm creating a better me.
A member of the idol group, MORE MORE JUMP!, Airi previously quit working as an idol when she was solely working on Varsity Shows. Now, she acts as both a teammate and mentor, giving hope to friends and fans alike.
(proud) If we keep this up, our fanbase is just gonna keep growing!
(shushing, reassuring, emphasize Ena's name) Hey, no…it’s Ena. For all that she gripes about you and Akito-kun, she’d never leave you
(excited) Ah, ah, ah. All right, my voice is all warmed up!
A member of the idol group, MORE MORE JUMP!, Shizuku used to follow scripts in order to be the perfect idol. Now that she is no longer following one, her air headed but genuine passion has helped her to spread hope.
(soft, concerned) I wonder if Shii-chan was watching…she seemed so sad lately, I think she needs it.
(answering a question) Yes, I couldn’t sleep so I came here to practice. Airi-chan joined me, but I was just getting ready to leave.
(cheerful) Having such great friends is wonderful. It makes me want to practice even harder. Hehe.
A member of the street music group Vivid BAD SQUAD, Kohane is shy and lacking in self-confidence. But what she lacks in confidence, she more than makes up for in determination and a powerful voice.
(smiling, happy) Even when we’re doing something as simple as eating cheesecake, I still get this warm feeling in my chest. Like I belong here, with all of you.
(determined, stubborn) Even if you never define what you are, that doesn’t matter. I don’t know if I’ll ever figure out what I am, but that doesn’t make my feelings any less real.
(nervous) I have to practice more so I don't freeze up on stage.
A member of the street music group Vivid BAD SQUAD, An is a spirited girl who has a dream to surpass her father's legendary event. Now, with her team at her side, she knows it's not only possible, but within reach.
(concerned) Yeah! We had practice and then you just vanished while Tenma-senpai delivered your excuses. Did something bad happen?
(pouting) Doesn’t mean you have to ruin his fun.
(determined) We need more experience in order to beat RAD WEEKEND!
A member of the street music group Vivid BAD SQUAD, Akito is known for being determined and hard on everyone, most especially himself. He can be mean and argumentative, but that is how he shows he cares, even if he never admits it.

(deadpan chiding) Oi, Toya. Stop daydreaming before you stab yourself.
(scoff) I’m not going just to hold your bags.
(Narration, overwhelmed) It felt too big, too terrifying to admit. The wind blew around him, as if ready to sweep him into a tornado of his own emotions. But then there was a hand on his shoulder. He turned, only to find Akiyama meeting his gaze head on.
A member of the street music group Vivid BAD SQUAD, Toya is considered the most level headed member of the group. That is, until one discovers his connection to the Tenma family. Then they realize nobody is truly level headed here.

(teasing) So you admit you see us as friends.
(serious, standing up for himself) I said no, Dad. I am going to continue performing with my team, singing the music that I love. And I refuse to play classical music ever again. I’m sorry, Dad, but I will not change my mind.
(Narration, wistful, serious) Some days, that blizzard came in the form of words instructing him on how to play the piano and violin. Other days it came in the form of harsh words of disappointment. But the worst days…the worst days came when the blizzard became a weapon used against Toya.
A member of the musical show unit Wonderlands x Showtime, Tsukasa is boisterous and arrogant at times, but he has a soft heart that wishes to make others smile, especially his sister Saki. He also readily claims many others family as well, from his troupe to some friends.

(dramatic declaration) And thus, I shall ride into the sunset with my fair steed and found new adventures beyond the horizon!
(shock, seemingly dramatic but actually not) You’re not gonna blow me up, are you?!
(Narration, nostalgic) Tenma Tsukasa was born on May 17th. But if you asked him, he only knew who he was less than a year later, on May 9th. That was the day his little sister was born and he knelt beside his mom on her hospital bed, staring at the pink blob that his parents called Saki.
A member of the musical show unit Wonderlands x Showtime, Rui serves as both director and actor with a side hobby of robotics...which verge on dangerous. But despite his mad scientist tendencies, Rui would never allow harm to come to his friends.

(excited, mad scientist vibes) With this, Tsukasa-kun’s final battle against the mighty sorceress will be as grand as possible!
(serious, concerned) If something’s not wrong, then what are you thinking about so hard?
(dramatic showman) And now, the curtain rises.
A member of the musical show unit Wonderlands x Showtime, Emu is one of the smiliest people you'll ever meet, fitting of her name. But she also hides a vast amount of depth and love, for her friends, her family and her grandpa's theme park...and also, WONDERHOY!

(chirpy tone) Yeah! I can hear your brain going groooooooan-groooooooooan-groooooooooan
(dramatic yell) Ehhhhhhh? Is Tsukasa-kun old enough to adopt a kid?
(smile) Okay, everybody! One, two, Wonderhoy!
A member of the musical show unit Wonderlands x Showtime, Nene is considered the straight woman of the group, tempering everyone else's insanity, even with her crippling shyness. Even despite this, she is a true friend and loves her entire troupe, most especially Robo-Nene.

(frantic) No, no, don’t do that!
(deadpan) Because you never think this hard over something good.
(warm) My voice is all warmed up and good to go today.
The composer of the underground music circle Nightcord at 25:00, Kanade is soft spoken and desires only to save people with her music. She's come to care for her circle since they met and with their help, grown beyond her hikikomori ways...somewhat.
Note: In this series, Kanade has selective mutism, meaning at times she cannot speak so she communicates via writing or sign language. Her lines will still be voices, but should contain less inflection when specified to be written/signed.

(soft, relieved) I’m glad to see you doing better.
(written down) Today is a bad day and I can’t think right now. I wanted to disappear, so I ran away.
(Narration, soft, peaceful) As soon as she heard Mafuyu’s voice, all the tension Kanade had been feeling melted away. They were here, they were all here, just as they should be. If nothing else in her life remained the same, she hoped that this music circle did.
The lyricist of the underground music circle Nightcord at 25:00, Mafuyu is viewed as two completely different people depending on who you ask. In the public eye, she is the perfect daughter of the Asahina family. But to her music circle, Mafuyu is someone struggling to find just who she truly is.

(good girl act, cheerful) It's good to see you're energetic, Otori, but don't run in the corridors.
The illustrator of the underground music circle Nightcord at 25:00, Ena has great pride in her art and her looks equally, though she can be very touchy in regard to both. But despite her vibrant personality, Ena simply wants someone to see both her art and her self as one.

(huff) And I told you that we should wait for K and Yuki to come on!
(screaming) Get out!! Don’t bother talking to me anymore, either of you!!
(statement, irritated) What? I was just coming down for a snack and overheard you. Now spill.
The animator of the underground music circle Nightcord at 25:00, Mizuki is a cheerful teen who is obsessed with all things cute. They care for their circle more than they are willing to admit, but are terrified of their secret coming out. Mizuki hides their worries under a smile, but not everyone believes it so easily.
Note: Mizuki has 'Female Young Adult' listed solely because their voice actor identifies as a woman (from my research, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) so they do have a bit of a more feminine voice, but they are treated as gender non-conforming as they are in canon.

(full of conviction, reassuring) It’s okay, Akito. I know it’s scary. It’s petrifying, actually. But it’s not impossible. Just take your time if you need it. Nobody’s saying you have to figure it all out right now. Hell, I’m still figuring it out. But you don’t need to be so harsh on yourself. The way you’re feeling is entirely your own and it is real. And it’ll all be okay someday, even if that’s not today.
(humming) Now where can I get some cute clothes and accessories?
The VIRTUAL SINGER who is known for her characteristic turquoise twin tails. Miku is cheerful, and helps every Sekai in every way she can.
Note: All VIRTUAL SINGERS will just have their non-Sekai self lines.

There are many extras in this series, from parents to random one-offs to reoccurring original characters! And they all need voices. If you want to try for any of them, please state the character's name at the beginning of your audition so I know who you're aiming for!
