  • (smiling, hint of bittersweet) I’m glad! I know Toya-kun’s busy, but I’m happy you have him by your side.

  • (laughing, excited) Aw! You don’t have to use honorifics with me, you’re my oneesan now after all!

  • (Narration, mournful) And…in her darkest moments, Saki would wish that she could just die so she’d never cost her parents a single yen. She never spoke these thoughts aloud, but when she was stuck in the hospital, waiting endlessly, it felt like the only way out.
