Pretty Kitty!! - Animated Horror Short Film
Project Overview
Pretty Kitty is a surreal animated psychological horror student thesis film in production at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).
Beloved amusement park actor, Kasey, is forced to get a new job after the forced closing of the park they worked at...things get complicated when the character they played suddenly comes to life.

Kasey is the main actor behind the adorable amusement park mascot Pretty Kitty. They have played the character well for 10 years and have become so attached to this role that it has become basically a part of who they are as a person.
However, underneath the colorful suit, Kasey is shy, soft spoken, anxious and introverted in contrast to the character they play.
Kasey can be played by anyone but should not have a voice that's too masculine or feminine.

You know the original name for Pac-Man was Puck Man. But they thought people would scratch out the "p" and turn it into an "f".
The titular character of the short!!!
Pretty Kitty is the cheerful, playful, funny silly cat mascot of the rundown amusement park, Pretty Kitty's Playland. They have the mannerisms of a playful DisneyLand mascot character, speak in meow puns (They say "mew" instead of "you" as an example.) and have a highly energetic, upbeat voice in contrast to the person playing them.
You should be able to hear the smile and joy in their voice! They should not come off as malicious or scary however!
**KITTY USES THE SAME VOICE OF KASEY, HOWEVER IN A DIFFERENT TONE, LIKE THE TONE SOMEONE WHO IS ACTING AND AROUND CHILDREN WOULD USE. THERE SHOULD BE ENOUGH SIMILARITY TO TELL THAT IT'S THE SAME PERSON, BUT NOT SO SIMILAR IT SOUNDS EXACTLY THE SAME.
KITTY CAN BE PLAYED BY ANY GENDER, HOWEVER THE VOICE SHOULD NOT LEAN TOWARDS TOO MASCULINE OR FEMININE.

This just in! Iguanas wearing cool hats have just been made illegal in the state of Kansas. The news crew interviewed several cool iguanas in hats affected by the ban earlier this morning who each said "what the heck man?1".
