Hello, and welcome to the casting for 'Ponies Unraveled'!
Ponies Unraveled is a mini 3D animated series of My Little Pony Characters, centering around characters from both Friendship is Magic and A New Generation.
Animated in Source Filmmaker, these 2-4 minute shorts, hosted by the original character Dr. Red River, will follow short misadventures and shenanigans of Generation 4 or Generation 5 ponies, with high chances of crossovers between the two. These slice-of-life skits will be heavily inspired on Looney Tunes and other Saturday morning cartoons, with the idea of a simple premise told within each short. The idea is that these ponies could handle most wacky scenarios we throw at them, and have fun doing it!
There are a few things to take note of for those who are interested in auditioning:
1. These animation are intended to be PG, no explicit themes, swearing, or gore. We'll mostly have cartoon slapstick and innocent, clean fun for all ages.
2. The VA must be comfortable with the possibility for live recording sessions. This is so that I can help direct certain takes for the animation. If schedules do not line up, we will do the traditional send-in-your-recording method.
3. Please record all auditions with a max of 3 takes, and export as a single .wav or .mp3 file (preferably 24-bit, 48kHz), with the filename of "YOURNAME_PONIESUNRAVELED_AUD" and submit it to this casting call.
This is a paid voice acting commission, rates are in the roles themselves. This casting call with be open until June 11th at 11 PM CST. Please label your submissions with the subject "Ponies Unraveled - YOUR NAME - May Audition" before the deadline.
