Project Overview
As peace is returning to Kanto, new journeys and happenings are beginning in another region, Johto. Gold is enjoying his normal life with his family Pokémon, who has been with him since birth, until he runs into a Pokémon thief at Professor Elm's lab. As he goes on a journey of chasing the thief, Silver, with a Cyndaquil from Professor Elm's laboratory and a Pokédex from Professor Oak, he stumbles upon the secret plots of the Masked Man, the enigmatic leader of Neo Team Rocket. At the same time, Professor Oak sends out a "Pokémon Capture Professional," Crystal, on a journey of completing the Pokédex. She gets involved in Eusine's plans to capture Suicune and tries to do so herself. Soon after, she also gets involved with the plot of Masked Man, who is apparently after the two of Johto's Legendary Pokémon, Lugia and Ho-Oh. When it is discovered that the Masked Man is actually a Gym Leader, an exhibition tournament between Kanto and Johto's Gym Leaders is held at Indigo Plateau to uncover the culprit. Meanwhile, the Masked Man plans to capture time itself for his ultimate plan and recover something he once lost.
Some guidelines to note before auditioning- PLEASE READ!!!!
-This is a long-term project!!
-Something to remember when auditioning: You will have to yell some lines... so please acknowledge that!
-Having knowledge of the manga or show is preferred, but not required.
-Lines will usually be due 1-2 weeks after the script for the chapter is posted!
-Please be 16+! This manga has some scenes not recommended for people under that age!
-Have a decent-sounding mic, no background noise/a quiet recording space. The mic doesn't need to be professional... just one that doesn't echo/create lots of background noise. This will affect who we will cast.
-Please do at least 2 takes per line with different delivery styles!
-Please be easy, respectful, and professional to work with.
-Please leave your discord in the comments of your audition! Our main point of communication will be on a Discord server, so it is required to have a Discord account!
-Last but not least, have fun!
-If you have a hard accent please avoid auditioning for this project.
-Some crew will be auditioning, but we assure you that we will not play favorites. Everyone has a fair shot!

The Masked Man was ruthless and unsympathetic. He believes that Pokémon are nothing but mere tools to help him accomplish his goals. This was shown when he tells Gold that Pokémon are weapons of war or when he used the Gyarados in the Lake of Rage as an army. The Masked Man is also manipulative, commenting that children are much easier to influence as followers.

Falkner aspired to become the Gym Leader of Violet City, a task he succeeded. This is about living up to his father's expectations. He is also a policeman, upholding the law to prevent crimes. Not a fan of his eng voice in the anime. Anything from adult teen to teen will do fine

Bugsy has a kind and caring personality, as shown when he faces off against a multitude of Team Rocket members at the Ruins of Alph. He is also very enthusiastic about exploring ruins, hence why he was at the Ruins of Alph in the first place. His voice doesn't need to be the same around the same range

Kurt was a friend of the Daycare couple, Professor Oak, Agatha, and Pryce. One day, Pryce's two Lapras were killed in an accident, which made Pryce depressed and distances himself from others. His friends, including Kurt, composed a song to cheer him up.

Earl Dervish is the teacher of Earl's Pokémon Academy. In Pokémon Adventures, Earl was delivering a package when a robber and his Donphan came by and stole it. Gold reluctantly saved Earl as he battled the robber's Donphan with his Aipom when the robber ruined his rice ball. Seeing what Gold did, Earl decided to reward him with a huge stack of rice cakes and then tells him that he had an academy named "Earl Dervish's Pokémon Academy".

(Relieved) Still, I’m pleased that this pouch is safe.
She is Kurt’s granddaughter and shortly grows closer to Gold after he saved her from an Ursaraing. Despite her innocent appearance, Maizie can be loud in order to take charge of a situation, as seen when she stopped Ash from entering Kurt's workshop while the latter was working. She appears to be environmentally conscious and noted that the trees help sustain the Pokémon and mountains.
