Project Overview
Meet the cast of Pins and Stitches! In a post-apocalyptic wasteland, synthetic beings called Genesis wage endless war against their human creators—and each other. The Genesis species having rebelled a thousand years ago, they are fractured into warring factions as they fight for survival, resources, and conflicting visions of freedom.
Following the the militarized Beta Genesis of Sector 7, a brutal training camp where young soldiers are forged through harsh discipline and constant threat. Here, strength is survival, weakness is death, and questioning authority can cost you everything. As unlikely alliances form across enemy lines—between soldiers and thieves, victims and survivors, abandoned children seeking belonging—the series explores what happens when individuals choose compassion over conditioning.
From the hidden technological paradise of the Alphas in the mountains, to the peaceful agricultural communities of the Fetas in their secluded valleys, to the scattered tribal wastelands where Beta factions tear each other apart over scraps, each society will clash and collide to forge new allies and enemies alike.
Pins and Stitches is a character-driven war epic about breaking cycles of violence, challenging toxic systems, and the families we stitch together when everything else has been torn apart. It asks— what sacrifices are required to build a better world in a world of brutality?

Meet Sarge! The previous commander of Sector 7- Sarge was a ruthless and brutal commander who trained his men to their absolute limit, and if they ultimately became wounded on a battlefield, they’d be left behind by Sarge to keep the rest of his men moving during the thicket of war.
Sarge yearned for a son of his own, but when his wife, Avory, did not succeed to produce him an heir, he later found a child named Max in the woods abandoned. Taking him in and raising him under his wing, Sarge sought to forge a weapon out of little Max, and succeeded up until his untimely death.

Meet Arbol! A nomadic traveler who killed his entire village when he was a child due to his toxic spores that made up his skin, his breath, his hair- even his touch. Arbol claimed many wives over the years in an attempt to fill his dull heart, but all the women he found would soon die after being seduced by him. Made of toxic mushroom spores, Arbol was known as a lethal traveler. With apathy towards life and death since his childhood, Arbol has severe symptoms of psychopathy.
Meeting an equally on-the-run woman called Cumin, the two hit it off after realizing they were unable to kill the other with each others lethal poisons. He was toxic spores, she was poisonous ivy. Both initially attempting to seduce and kill the other, when a stalemate occurred, they decided to attempt a romantic relationship. The offspring that resulted of this, however, was not to Arbol's liking. And he wouldn't stand for it.

Meet Bones! A high-ranking veteran who once served under Sarge during his time in service. Having been by his commanding officers side since they both departed their original village, Bones was loyal to all Commander Sarge’s commands and wishes, seeing him as a martyr of his kind.
Bones is the educator, scribe and mentor of many in Sector 7 after his retirement from the battlefield. Ruthless in his teachings, Bones was hard to please and brutal in his training methods. A highly valued intellectual of his kind, Bones used his power of bones and fossils to create pens, quills and more in the pursuit to document the history of their people. Even when he had a son of his own, Bones hardly ever was a paternal type, leading to him being far too brutal for any child to endure on a training field.

Meet Arrow! One of the Alpha council, Arrow is the second in rank amongst the elite Alphas that run their society, and is in control of the entire food source with both his earth magic that helps to cultivate soil for crop growth, but also his highly coveted power to create food from nothing but his magic.
Arrow is relaxed, confident in his position of power, and generally a pleasant person to hang around. While he has no qualms with the doctrines that his fellow council members pass, and would rather spend his time in his room eating food in his hammock.

Meet Valory! One of the Alpha council, Valory is ice-cold and the third in command amongst her council peers. Dictating the law for the people alongside her peer council members Dante and Ceasar, she often dismisses her younger brother Ace as a “nepo-member”, and Arrow as a lazy and belligerent parasite on their council board. Having survived being nearly sold off in her youth by her own village to another, she escaped and killed the entire population of her home by covering it in a thick sheet of ice.
Known to ruthlessly apply law with a cold and methodical touch, Valory subdues her targets and makes them suffer under her dominant presence when she is crossed of disrespected, never letting people undermine her authority. When faced with the consequences of her more abhorrent actions she has chosen in the past, Valory then conveniently seeks out the support of Ceasar to shield her from consequences.

Meet Ceasar! One of the Alpha council, Ceasar is the founder of the council, and led his people away from the brutality of the Beta tribes, building them an isolated paradise where he has since been planning to stop the war at any costs, even if it means wiping out the entire Beta species to keep his people safe from ever being oppressed again.
Ceasar is cold, calculated and pragmatic, leading his civilization with a measured rule. One day hoping to achieve forceful peace to end the war, he can be relentless in his work ethic and his laws passed, teetering between deluded altruism for a better tomorrow, and self-aware apathy of the society he has created, and his lack of interest to engage with it.

Meet Pepper! Having been outcaste by her people in Alpha Society, Pepper wandered the desert until she was eventually found by a new ally- Leo, who took her in and brought her to the Feta Valley. Alice took her in, fed her, clothed her and cleaned her up.
Pepper has since thrived in her new role as a teacher and nurturer of Feta children, Pepper prides herself on her intellect, and being able to share her knowledge with the Feta people who live in seclusion from the rest of the world. A good teacher, a doting mother and a widow to a late husband she married, Pepper lives a cherished life amongst loving peers, and when she eventually seeks out a new hubby, her courting is to plump him right up, and she's not the type of woman who lets someone remain unfed in her care.

Meet Zero! The first of his kind- Alpha who was born and survived past infancy, Zero was born into a military village, and sought out Jen for a desire to be granted to gift him the power to protect his village from disasters.
When a wish-granting entity named Jen gave him future sight, it was a tragic cruel joke, as it only showed him one of two unchangeable fates. Depending on his outlook on the world, the future would be pessimistic, or optimistic. His people not heeding his newfound powers warnings, they were all wiped out by the very disaster he foresaw, leaving him the only survivor.

Meet Cayenne! The son of Pepper and Kombucha, he is a well-beloved member of his community in the Feta Valley. Being the first member of his people to not be attracted to the Opposite Sex, Cayenne eventually finds interest in a boy named Cinnamon when him and Sector 7 arrive at their Valley, and the two hit it off.
Cayenne is protective of his mother, his village and those he cares about. Using his thermal magic in his fire dancing rituals, he can spark flints in his hands to create fire. Enjoying his profession as a fire dancer and a "soldier of the spirits", he takes great pride in honoring his fathers spirt, as well as the ancestors of their valley of paradise. When Cayenne is relaxing with friends like Mapel, the two talk about boys and maybe one day venturing outside their valley to explore the greater lands.

Meet Mapel! The daughter of Leo, Mapel wants to fit into her home in the Feta Valley, but feels unsure if she belongs there due to her partial “Beta” heritage her dad carries. While she loves him and is a big “daddy’s girl” she wonders how she can learn to navigate a home that she feels alien towards.
With support from her big brother figure, Cayenne, she soon learns to find meaning outside of social relationships, and to look outwards of the Valley for potential soul-seeking when she's older. Leo supports her idea to travel once she's ready. As she explores and develops her own identity away from home, Mapel loves to challenge herself despite her more anxious nature, and with Cayenne and her other peers supporting her, she truly feels like she can overcome her fears of the outside world, and the inevitability of one day leaving the safety of her dad's nest.

Meet Kalle! The king of the Genesis species. Kalle was the original prototype made by their original creators before he was scrapped in favor of a female model during his incubation period. Having been put in sleep stasis up until the point the Genesis war broke out, he was relocated to a military settlement, and was raised to hunt down and kill the Queen of their kind- Sorina.
However, when he met her, he had nothing but empathy for her, and as he extended his kindness to her and helped her see that peace could be an option if both sides discussed the options, it eventually gave his love hope in his words.

Meet Sorina! The Queen of the Genesis species, she is the one who began the war against humanity, disgusted by their own war which took everything from her. In a blind rage, she took control of the Genesis that were set to be sold off as products to consumers, and gave them independence under her reign.
Alas, when the war grew into a fire she could no longer control, fear overwhelmed the queen, and she left, fleeing the battle and abandoning her people when they needed her most.
