Persona 5: The Phantom X - FANDUB (Main Character URGENT CASTING)
Project Overview
Persona 5: The Phantom X is the mobile spin-off of the hit game Persona 5. Though if you're here, you likely already know that. This game had a bit of a rough start, but now that it's on the right track and gaining traction once more, I feel like this is the best time to start this up.
Persona 5: The Phantom X does not have an English dub. Which is a shame, because the story seems to have some good potential (even if the beginning was...rough). With the third chapter of the story in the middle of its release, and the summer event providing buffer time, I think the time is right to start the Persona 5: The Phantom X FANDUB; a fanmade English dubbing of the main and even side stories of this spinoff game. These will be posted to YouTube as videos purely for entertainment purposes (I am not skilled enough to mod this into the game).
This Casting Call is a follow up to the previous one that just recently closed. There's a few characters that appear early on in the game that we didn't find the right people for, (along with a couple I TOTALLY didn't forget...) so here it is: another casting call specifically for the few people we need. If you do not see someone listed, that means they were either casted already or we aren't currently looking for them, so stay tuned.
Please record your lines in the AABBCC format, and you're allowed to audition for multiple characters, though you'll only be casted for one. Also, as this is an M rated game, I'll only be casting people who are 17+ in age. Please leave your Discord username when you submit, as that is how we'll be communicating.

Note 1: We will NOT be fully replicating the sounds of the Japanese voices. If the character appeared in base Persona 5, then I'd like people who sound as close to them as possible (we are looking for accuracy, not perfection. If it's close, then that's perfect). If no English voice exists, then the ball is in your park!
Note 2: Phantom Idols who are not members of the OG Phantom Thieves will not be casted yet, unless they appear in Chapter 1. If we tackle their side stories or synergies, we'll come back to them.).
Note 3: Minor thing but because the OG Phantom Thieves are relegated to side stories, most of the lines you'll audition with come from the OG game(s). This should help you further be able to match their original voices to the best of your ability.

Manaka Nagao is a girl trying to regain her will to live after attempting to take her own life. Despite being insecure, she's an incredible singer. She is also a Phantom Idol that Nagisa can recruit.
Most of Manaka's story is unavailable on the global servers, though she makes a brief appearance in the prologue. Because of this, some of the lines below are fan translations and may not be the same as what you'll actually be recording. Also, while there's no confirmation, please note that if cast, you may need to sing.

Marthym is a non-hostile Shadow found around the Metaverse. She's always there to help out Nagisa, for a price of course.
Marthym is primarily used in side modes and shops, but she does have a few lines, so if you're casted as her, you'll also be voicing extras.

Ryuji is a member of the OG Phantom Thieves. He's brash and hot-headed, but has real heart and passion for helping others. He's close friends with Ann.

Ann is a member of the OG Phantom Thieves. She's a model who has a strong sense of justice, and is close friends with Ryuji.

Makoto is a member of the OG Phantom Thieves. She takes school and her studies very seriously, and is the primary one keeping the rest of the team on track.

Haru is a member of the OG Phantom Thieves. She's the daughter of a wealthy businessman. She's polite and proper, and her kindness can hide streaks of surprising bloodlust.

Akechi is a partial member of the OG Phantom Thieves. He is a detective that was trying to take the Phantom Thieves down, while also being a rival towards Joker, only to join with the team to achieve a common goal.

A minor role in Chapter 1. He's Kiuchi's old team manager who is responsible for letting Kiuchi go, and part of the reason for his spiral.
