Project Overview
Folks. It's me again. Today me and my good friend Tavros have our sights set on abridging the beloved original Persona 4 animation.

By the time auditions close, you may have the opportunity to get a callback for your role, maybe just to gauge your voice or to make a final decision. Please, for my sanity, do not die from excitement like a rabbit when the time comes.

The main character of Persona 4.
Yu, in the anime, is a very prompt and soft spoken young man. His voice is breathy, tired, and can often times be sarcastic yet doesn't have any bad intent. If needed, he can rise to be a leader with a more powerful voice when fighting with his friends.
Medium pitch with a breathy and nonchalant tone.

(Reflecting) As long as I had them, I didn't care if it was an Illusion, it didn't matter. I know who you are, and you're me.
(Monotone) Holy shit, Yosuke, did you tell your mom about us?
(Fighting) Izanagi! Banish this fatass bear to the shadow realm!
Yu's side-piece.
Yosuke is most of the time an energetic and clumsy source of comic relief as a bro-character. He can often be reflective, but most of the time tripping over himself in whatever he does even when trying to be cool. He is upbeat, expressive, and tries his best to please people.
He should have a med-high pitch and should have room to raise your voice or yell for comedic effect.

Chie is a fiery girl with a passion for karate, meat, and abusing her friend Yosuke. She often is a voice of reason among her friends dumbasseries and isn't afraid to knock some sense into them. Though, if things go south, she can often panic.
Chie has a medium pitch with some grit that gives her a strong fighter energy that matches her scolding.

(Angry) Dammit Yosuke that was my only copy of Rush Hour 3! Don't make me see red!
(Entranced) Did you see Yukiko doing all that freak shit on the midnight channel...? Lowkey wasn't that bad...
(Whining) You fatass bear! Let us out of here or I'll- I'll turn on beast mode!
Yukiko brings an innocent and princess-like matureness to the rest of her friends, only being interrupted by the comedy that comes from her lack of casualty and lack of pop-culture knowledge. She can often get into laughing or violet fits but will always do her best to stay composed as the future successor for her families famous hotel.
Early into the story, she will be "possessed" to be a freaky princess in the shadow world.
She has a medium pitch with an airy and innocent sound with a hint of maturity.

(Innocent) Chie what is a blinker? Taking a hit... From a yart?
(Enthusiastic/As Freaky Princess Form) Who here in Inaba is ready for my midnight channel OnlyFans! I only accept Bitcoin and hot studs!

Kanji, on the outside, is a tough delinquent who always tries to pick fights and hide his crippling masculinity. On the inside, he is a very kind and frail individual who is interested in cute/cuddly things that he is embarrassed about until he gets comfortable with his friends. Kanji tries to balance both as he forms a bond with his touch-buddies Yu and Yosuke.
He is a brony.
Kanji is a med-low gruff voice that has a stereotypical bro/jock rockiness in his language.

(Irritated) Teddie keeps on trying to ask for a reach-around! Which one of you guys taught him about that?!
(Frail) I... Am a brony. I even tattooed my own cutie mark. Isn't it cute...!?
(Casual/Getting Freaky) Alright, Yosuke and me can sleep in our own tent. And Yu. And Naoto...
Teddie is an absolute dumbass who is often trying to make a move on the female cast and loves telling shitty bear-themed jokes, as he is a bear. He speaks wildly overdramatic and is completely oblivious to anything that is outside of the shadow world, which is pretty much everything. He has good intentions. Mostly.
Teddie is a medium-high pitch that is very over the top and cartoonish.

(Fawning) Oh dear! I've been a very freaky bear...! Chie I think you oughta kick me!
(Angry) Grrrr! Don't hate me because I'm beautiful, ho! And don't tell me to get brown contacts!
(Disappointed) I can never crack in this musty ass bear suit... This makes me *bear*y sad!
Naoto starts off in the story displaying herself as a boy detective. Though, after revelations, Naoto is actually bad asl. She is very reserved and harsh on herself but can often be satisfied with her surroundings as she grows with her friends. As a detective, she is a very serious person in many scenarios and can take control when needed.
Naoto has a low-medium pitched voice that starts off boyish and turns to soft after her reveal. A serious and collected tone is kept throughout.

(Angry) Why is my Persona this corny ass robot?! You know what, Teddies is worse...
Rise is a worldwide pop-star sensation who enjoys loving up on Yu and getting out of the spotlight to live a normal life in Inaba. She is bubbly, cutesy, and thoughtful around her friends but knows her worth as a popular figure. She knows she's valuable and loves to tease and get a rise out of most of the cast.
Rise has a high-pitched voice that is a little loud and bratty but silky and soft when quiet.

(Soft) I'm tired of all of this fan-mail senpai... Some guy sent me his shit-streaked underwear! But I wouldn't mind if it was yours...
(Angry) Thanks Atlus! My shadow is just a fucking stripper!
Nanako is a little girl that lives in the same house as Yu, though she is often left alone. She is sweet, innocent, and fucking loves Junes, the towns local supermarket. She can often be sad from being left along, but can be easily pleased.
Nanako has a very high-pitch childlike voice that is of the upmost innocence.

(Sad) Dad hasn't talked to me in 4 days... He's always just touching up on Adachi...
Dojima is a deeply serious man. He looks absolutely miserable every second of the day and is a very dedicated detective in many of the murders that happen in the city. He doesn't hate Yu, he neglects Nanako, but he's chill.
Dojima has a mid-low pitch voice that has some gruff and wear to it.

(Fake Apologetic) Sorry Nanako, I am going to leave you again for 4 days. I might bring back something from the evidence locker.
(Carefree) Alright, Yu, just make sure you bring back some good puss.
(Angry) No! You may not "investigate" with me. Your life is not like a videogame.
**SPOILER ALERT**
Adachi is the clumsy sidekick to Dojima and is apart of the investigation team for the Inaba murders. He is often times soft spoken, not that bright, but he is also lowkey killing a dozen people, making him crazy at the end of the story.
Adachi has a mid-high pitch that is very airy and honestly just sounds like Yu but a little nerdy.

(Carefree) Hey kids! Did you see that mangled body up on the power line? Awesome shit!
