About the story
Coven has been an orphan since he was a baby. He was abandoned outside a church in the village of Hokuto, where he lived till he was 15. Coven had a heightened sense of smell, so anyone that tried to approach him or anyone he loves was immediately caught. When he lived there, there were 5 other people living there, 4 other orphaned kids, and the Father who took care of the church and kids. Even though he didn't have the ability to use magic in a world where magic is everything, he was loved around the village and at the church. He spent his free time training his body for the Enchanted Gladiators Entrance Exams, he believed that he had the capabilities to protect the kingdom. The Enchanted Gladiators are the people who protect the kingdom above all else. One day, he went out to train with his best friend Astella, he was gone for the entire day and night. When he came back, everyone in the church was murdered, blood was everywhere, along with its scent. But there was another scent in the room that he didn't recognize. After weighing out his options, he decided not to go after them. After burying them and saying goodbye, he settled in with Astella and her parents. The next day, he and Astella got their grimoires at the ceremony, and to everyone's surprise, they got the thickest grimoires out of everyone there. What was odd is that Coven didn't have any way to use magic, so why would he need a grimoire? Well, he might not be able to use magic, but he's able to use something else, and he found out about when he found Astella getting attacked by a group of three. He knocked out the ring leader in one hit, while the others just ran off after that. He decided to train with this newfound power alone and then enter the Enchanted Gladiators Entrance Exam. He did so, all the captains wanted him for their squad, but he chose the one he knew of before the entrance exams, and that was the Black Crows. The story from then on follows the battles and accomplishments that Coven and the Black Crows have, along with the rivalries, friendships, and enemies along the way.
Requirements
-MUST have discord, this will be our primary means of communicating and way of organizing things.
-Good quality on your auditions and submissions, try your best so you don't have any regrets afterward.
-Must be able to meet deadlines. I am okay with missing if you have a reason, but if you don't I won't be happy.
-THIS IS A LONG-TERM PROJECT! If you can't do long-term projects, I wouldn't recommend auditioning
-A good attitude and an open mind.

Update
New roles for episode 2 have been posted, I won't be casting them until the first episode is out. Right now the deadline is a month from now, but that can change based on when the first episode comes out.
Coven is the main character of the story. He was an orphan his entire life to only lose the only family he has when he's 15. Coven is kind to the people he feels deserve it, he respects people he believes deserve to be respected. But whenever someone does something horrible to others out of rage or selfishness, he never forgives them unless they show true remorse or have a valid reason for doing so. Coven is a tactical person, he thinks things through, but at the same time, when he wants to protect someone he will stop whatever he’s doing to go protect them. Even though he doesn't have the ability to use magic, he has a heightened sense of smell, so he can sense when and where his opponent will attack. When he joins the Enchanted Gladiators, he finds himself seeing them as another family. He acts as one of the big brothers of the group, keeping everyone in line and making sure they don't kill each other.
(Annoyed yet not very aggressive) Father, I said yesterday that I was going to go and train with Astella today. Remember?
(Scared and shocked) Father... Haru... Yuko... Brock...
(Monotone, with little emotion) You go on ahead, I'll catch up with you.
She is Coven’s best friend, she told him about the Enchanted Gladiators and how they save people all over the kingdom. She supports Coven even after the church got attacked while she and Coven were out training together. She got into the Bronze Sunset and thrives to improve and gain strength to protect her home.
(Curious and a little scared) Are you saying that you could possibly use water magic like me? Do you think that'll make us related?
(Playfully mad) *Gasps* Meanie.
(Worried and a little scared) Coven! Are you okay? I heard a scream-
Asta is a mysterious character that lives inside Coven's head. Coven doesn't know much about Asta other than the fact he held the power he now uses. Asta is always happy and ready to help, but still expresses other emotions along with that.
(Happy yet informative) Inside your head, you know like your mindscape.
(Happy yet mysterious) Everything. After all, I am its first user.
Father Obanai is a very caring and loving person. He took Coven in when he was left at the church when he was a baby. He took in other kids as well and acts as all of their father figures.
(Sad and worried) Oh, you poor thing...
(Calm) You're very calm, and you have beautiful silver hair. You're going to be quite the lady's man when you grow up huh?
(Caring) That's right! Well, don't push yourself too hard, and be careful.
Haru is a little boy who lives at the church along with Coven. He's energetic and very curious about the world around him. He's also very attached to Coven since he sees him as his big brother.
(Curious) Where are you going?
Kazuto is, in basic terms, Haru's twin. He's exactly like Haru in personality and how he acts around Coven and other people.
(Curious) Yeah, and when are you coming back?
Brock is younger than Coven, but only by 2 years. He takes on the responsibility of whatever Coven does when Coven is out training. He acts like he doesn't really have much attachment to anyone but always wants to impress Coven with anything.
(A little annoyed but curious) Training again? You can't even use magic yet you're still training?
(Proud) I'll make sure everyone stays out of trouble.
Yuko is only a few months younger than Brock, yet she acts like she's a full-grown adult and can freely hang out with any guy she wants. She loves everyone at the church but gets annoyed when they tell her she can't hang out with guys without telling them.
(Sarcastically and innocently) What are you talking about? I do no such things.
This role is actually multiple characters, all of which are chiefs of certain villages in the story. The chiefs will differ in personality, but they all have one thing in common, they want to see everyone they meet succeed in their lives.
(Announcing) Hello everybody and welcome to the Annual Grimoire Selection Ceremony!
(Announcing) That concludes the ceremony! Congratulations to everyone getting a grimoire, I hope you and your grimoire use the magic you share to the fullest of your capabilities. That's all for today, I hope to see the next generation here next year!
Astella's dad is a kind and loving dad, when Coven loses everyone at the church, he kindly lets him into his home and consols whenever he feels he needs it.
(Gentle) Coven, I'm truly sorry for your loss.
Lyle is a crazy and unsettling person, though his chain magic is strong and tough. He's an Ex-Enchanted Gladiator, he claimed he was kicked out of his squad because they feared his powerful magic. He attempts to attacked and steal from Astella but ends up getting his butt handed to him by Coven.
(Manically and crazy) *Laughs* For some nobles and someone chosen by that kind of grimoire, I expected you to sense that coming and defend against it. Oh well, you did just get your grimoires after all, so I guess my expectations were a little too high.
This is the voice actor that'll play all the male background characters. You MUST have the ability to change your voice and tone.
(Surprised and curious) He got a grimoire like that? I wonder what type of magic he uses, come to think of it I've never seen him uses magic before
(Stuck up and annoyed) Wait, how did a mere commoner get a grimoire like that?
Same roles and requirements in the male extras, you will play the female background characters. Must be able to change your voice.
(Worried and distraught) Did you hear about what happened at the church? Young Coven must be so devastated.
(Distraught and different voice) It's so horrible, no one at the church deserves that terrible fate. Thankfully Coven is okay.
Mrs. Katz is Astella's mother, who is Coven's best friend. Astella's mom is very sweet and soft-spoken, and also very compassionate and supportive. She along with her husband, took Coven in after the incident at the church. Even though Coven isn't related to her nor does he visit often, she still sees him as her son.
(reassuring) It's no problem dear, and remember, you're always welcome if you need anything.
Cyrus Madden appears in the forest that Coven is training in, running away from a wild boar. Even though he appears to be weak since he couldn't handle a boar, he's very skilled at using a sword. Cyrus is a mysterious person who's very reserved and doesn't share much about himself.
(Scared and desperate) HEY KID! CAN YOU HELP ME OUT HERE?
(Calm) Thank you for helping me out. My name is Cyrus Madden by the way.
Ryuji is the captain of one of the Enchanted Gladiators Squads, so he's in charge of giving out orders to the rest of his squad for certain missions. Well, his squad isn't very well thought of, mostly because of their wild and free nature. Ryuji though, just like to fight people who he thinks will give him a challenge, or so he claims. He's a sword user like Asta and Coven are so he can use his magic better than normal. He’s not from the kingdom but still protects it because the ruler of the kingdom believed in him. He met Coven before the exams and took interest in him when he saw his magic. He knew from the start that it wasn’t magic from when he first met him. He wanted him for his squad because he wanted to see what Coven could really do.
(Bored yet curious) So someone actually knows about this place? That'll make this easier.
(Bored yet informative) I got notified about this mission a day ago, so the report probably came in about 2 to 3 days ago.
This job is helping me keep things in line, along with myself. This includes keeping track of meeting times, deadlines, and overall expectations. You will also help monitor the discord server as well.
