Project Title: Parallel Worlds
Type: Animated YouTube Series

Setting: Modern-day small town of Maplewood
Story Summary:
In Parallel Worlds, we follow the journey of two teenagers, Hannah Preston and Ethan Mills, who have lived across the street from each other in the quiet town of Maplewood their entire lives. Despite their close proximity, they’ve never interacted—each content in their own separate worlds, almost as if they’re living in parallel universes.
When they’re paired together for a biology project, their worlds collide. What starts as awkward conversation soon blossoms into friendship, and eventually, a romance. As they open up about their dreams and insecurities, they realize they’ve been searching for each other all along.
This story is about breaking out of your comfort zone, embracing vulnerability, and discovering that sometimes the person you need has been right beside you the whole time.

Important Information to Know Before Auditioning:
Deadline: All lines must be submitted on time.
Voice Quality: A high-quality microphone is essential for clear audio and minimizing any background noise. Please avoid using built-in laptop or phone microphones.
Auditions: Feel free to audition for as many roles as you’d like, but make sure each audition is unique and tailored to the character.
Communication: Please provide a reliable way to reach you (Discord, Email, CCC) in your audition description. Ensure you check your messages regularly.
Payment: Although I’m unable to offer payment for this project, voice actors will receive full credit at the end of the video and in the description. This is a great opportunity for exposure, experience, and building your portfolio.
Be Professional: Keep your communication polite and respectful. This is a collaborative environment, and I’m excited to work with talented individuals who are passionate about the project.

Description: Quiet, thoughtful, and creative. Hannah is a sensitive soul who expresses herself through art but rarely shares her work out of self-doubt. She is introverted and careful, but behind her quiet demeanor is a curiosity about the world around her—and about Ethan, the boy across the street who has always felt just out of reach. Though initially hesitant, she gradually opens up, showing her warm, humorous, and caring side.

(Narration) But as we got closer, I began to worry. Was I just another friend to Ethan? Did he see me the way I saw him? And if he didn’t, could I handle it?
Description: Outgoing, athletic, and popular, Ethan seems to have it all together on the surface. He’s known as the friendly, easygoing guy who can make anyone laugh, but under his confident exterior, he has insecurities and dreams he’s unsure how to express. Through his interactions with Hannah, he begins to see beyond his world and develops a deeper understanding of himself and others.

With his sharp intuition and cool, collected demeanor, he’s the kind of person who notices the things others miss. He’s loyal to his friends but doesn’t share much about himself, adding to his air of mystery. Secretly, he has a crush on Amber, but he keeps it to himself, unsure if he could ever express how he feels.
