Hello and welcome, I'm currently hosting a romance visual novel called "Paper Rose"! I plan for this game to have many features such as multiple pronouns options, 5 character routes (including Oliver's secret route), three endings (romantic, platonic, and the bad end), group calls, special one-on-one calls, and much more! I've had this idea for a long time and I've finally decided it's time to take initiative and try it out.
There will be "duplicates" of certain roles but both will hold their purpose, one handling the game and its storyline while the "fakes" are more snippets and teasers of the fake animation that's being made! It is possible to get multiple roles and if you audition for a "fake" role, you will also be considered for the "real" role as well (please comment if you do not wish for the game version of the role if you do audition for a "fake")!
Currently, every role speaks English however, if the visual novel ends up growing big enough I will open up translated versions of it! But that's not guaranteed so please take that with a grain of salt.
Credits will be on the home screen of the game with an icon leading you to it, along with completing the route you ended up going to.
Game Summary
You've been following an animation called Paper Rose for some time and to your surprise, the creator seems to be looking for more people to join their studio and help out! As you join you're greeted with the four main love interests, Havu, Tsum, Yonah, and Yor, along with the other lovable casts as well! The game will be filled with different conflicts, fluff moments, and also animation updates to see how everything is going along! Who knows, you might find someone special after as well.
Deadline + Extra Notes
The deadline for auditions will be August 31 at the earliest, however, if your voice matches a character perfectly I won't mind giving the role early! The same goes for the tech people, if your audition is exactly what I'm looking for I will also give the role(s) early.

Havu is genuinely a really sweet guy, however, he can be very stubborn and defensive when proven wrong. He's kind of the team's big brother, makes sure everyone is in order and a good mood but occasionally picks on people. He does have a severe fear of change though, if there's ever a need for a plan B cause things just won't work out it'll cause him to shut down and have a need to escape the situation.

Tsum likes to project herself as "the perfect being" but as a joke obviously, at times it can come across as obnoxious but it's just a way she's able to drown out her insecurities and tricks herself that everything's fine. She often believes that she has to be happy and be the life of the party cause that's honestly all she has, she finds comfort in being the one people look up to and feel comfortable venting and/or ranting to but has trouble reaching out herself.

Yonah uses they/them pronouns, is 21 years old, and has the jobs of VA and animator
Yonah hasn't grown up in the best household, obsession with things was normalized for them, and it shaped them into being impulsive and self-destructive if it meant getting to their goal. If anything goes wrong they start to have a breakdown and freak out obsessively doing whatever they can to get things back on track. When on calls with Yonah they'll be overly flirty as a way to speed up a romantic relationship from happening due to a fear of being alone and the influence of what their sister did when they were younger.

PR is their first “job” in voice acting! She’s been meaning to get into the series since she hadn’t heard of it before but found the plot line interesting. Her main problem and conflict will be with her image and if she’s doing a good job because everyone else seems to be way ahead of her in experience. Throughout his route, the player will help him gain confidence as each day goes by but then there will be another person who joins who supposedly is a better VA than Yor, this knocks down everything the player and they’ve built up over the last few days and it’s up to Yor to decide whether or not they truly want to keep working for this project

Oliver uses he/him pronouns, is 27 years old, and has the job of Story Border
When Oliver is unlocked there will be new options that can steer the player towards his route and his good/friend/bad end. Ever since Oliver transitioned he's developed the need to overly compensate for not being cis but that came at the cost of him being on thin ice in the server and in danger of being removed/baned. The more the player calls and talks with Oliver, they will slowly help him out of his shell allowing him to be more vulnerable and show their true colors
