Paper Jeremy: The Thousand Year Door is a remastered animation based off a comic series I made back in Middle School.
This is gonna be releasing the same day the Switch Remake releases, which will be May.23.2024!!!

-Story-
Back when Jeremy and Christopher lived on Doom Island, Jeremy gets ahold of a copy of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. After a mysterious machine accident, they both get warped into The Thousand Year Door Universe. Jeremy and Christopher now have to find the Crystal Stars and use their power to hopefully return back home!
-Origins-
Back in 6th Grade, I made an 8 Episode Comic Series called "Paper Jeremy: The Thousand Year Door", and I consider it the worst thing I've ever created. The writing is awful, unoriginal, it copies off other existing things, my art style was still pretty questionable at the time, and it involves a TON, and I mean a TON, of simping. With the remaster of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door coming to Switch this May, I decided to remake this comic into what I truly wanted it to be, and I'll be doing that through an animation!!
-Rules-
I'd like you all to have a good mic, and the ability to manage your time. Also, make sure to do your lines in (AAA,BBB,CCC) Format. For example:
You have multiple lines, so you do the first one 3 times, then the second one 3 times, etc. All with different takes of saying it. Make sure each take sounds different and unique.
Make sure to leave your Discord in your audition, so I have some way of messaging you!

A very energetic and sassy Goomba who's trying to find info on The Thousand Year Door's Treasure. She's a student at the University of Goom, and she's not afraid to say what she's thinking.
Give her a voice you'd think would fit, preferably one that sounds cute, but still mature.
Give it up! I ain't telling Goomba SQUAT to you creeps! So back off!

Well, I guess I’ll believe you, but…why Rogueport of all places? Anywhere else would have been like, a MILLION times better.

The Paper Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. She's alot more out-there than normal Peach, so get ready.
You know how Peach sounds, so give it your best impression!
I'd also allow a unique voice you think would fit, as long as it's around her voice range!
Well, you know being a princess is tough and VERY tiring, so I said to myself: “You know what? I deserve to go on Holiday!” And so I did!
YEAH!!...Until Toadsworth insisted that he come along to watch over me. Ugh, it’s like he’s my babysitter, it’s annoying…
ooo, treasure? That sounds exciting!!...oh. But, it’ll be a little difficult for me to go and find it myself…hey! Maybe I can get Mario and Luigi!! They’re always up for adventure!!

The Second Highest Ranking Member of the X-Nauts. He's a real nuisance and sees himself more high and mighty than he really is.
I imagine his voice would sound kinda like Yogi Bear, but make it a bit deeper.

Toadsworth is Peach's Steward, even though he hasn't made an appearance in a game in how long? He's very concerned about Peach's safety and watches over the Toads of the Kingdom.
We all know how this little mustachioed old man sounds like, so gimme your best Toadsworth impression!

What are the odds that we’d bump into each other in this sort of place, hm? Ho ho!
You know how headstrong she can be, I just assumed she’d be back, but it’s not looking like that’ll be the case…but luckily, you two are here now

The Boat Driver that drives Mario to Rogueport.
Give him a voice you think would fit. Make him sound old, weather it be an old man, or an adult, make sure he sounds like a boat driver who knows his stuff.
Ehh, there’s nothing but ocean out here, and the nearest SAFEST place is a few hundred miles away..
But, if you’re REALLY desperate, the closest place here is a town called Rogueport. It’s not the most elegant place on earth, but it’s land.
Are you two quite sure you want to disembark here? I…did tell you all the sordid tales about Rogueport on our way here, did I not?

When I mean X-Nauts, I mean ALL of them. You'll be voicing ALL the X-Nauts.
Give them funny sidekick voices. Don't make them sound TOO obnoxious tho. Find the right pitch!
Context for Line 3: Jeremy and Christopher escaped with Goombella, and Lord Crump is questioning the X-Nauts on where they went. Say some stuff to respond to that.
