Anime’s Got Talent is an animated comedy web series which answers the question of what would happen if the world’s most popular talent show made its way into Animeland and invited its most tropey inhabitants to be contestants.
Just like in our boring 3D world, Animeland’s version of the Got Talent show features a cast of aspiring contestants performing for the adoration of the faceless masses and, more importantly, the three judges who will decide how far they’ll go. Waiting for them at the illusive end is a cash prize of a million Ghiblis and a place in the hearts of otakus everywhere.
At first glance Animeland just seems like Japan but with crazy hair and big eyes but don’t let that fool you! This animated world runs on logic born from cliches every anime fan knows and loves or begrudgingly tolerates.
Pop idols? There’s Trinity Tune, Animeland’s biggest idol group with a terrible secret. Ridiculously voluptuous women with natural figures that should realistically be breaking their backs? Aspiring singer Katsumi-san could coast into fame on looks alone if she wanted to, though never suggest that to her face. High Schools where the students fight for the fate of the world using sick magic martial arts on a regular basis? Well, Hiro used to be one of those students but he doesn’t like to talk about it anymore. He does dancing now.
All these characters and many, many more are going to compete for a shot at everlasting stardom that should last until at least the next season.
The path to fame will be long and hard and probably filled with pit stops for filler episodes. Every contestant is sure that they can achieve victory through their own resolve, but in the end there can only be one winner. Be that as it may, they might find what they were looking for on the way there instead.
BACKGROUND DETAILS: Fuka is an AGT judge (the youngest one at age 29).

PERSONALITY: She’s nice and has a likeable personality. She’s got a cute quirky style about her and she’s an anime/manga lover that LOVES yaoi. Hence her name Fuka Joshi (fujoshi: female fan of yaoi). Although she loves yaoi, it’s not OVERLY crazy in public like her pervy co-judge, Raster Moshi. But she can get TOO EXCITED from yaoi & hot guys in general, as you can see at the end of the episode where she has nosebleeds from seeing Hiro & Jiro.

BACKGROUND: Quinn is the host of AGT and was also the host of the last season. The last season ends in a disaster as you will find out at the end of the episode.

PERSONALITY: To the public eye, Quinn’s an elegant and calm individual. Has very professional mannerisms especially since they’re the host of the show. But truly on the inside, they don't enjoy the job. They can’t wait for the day to be over and they PRAY that nothing disastrous happens.

BACKGROUND DETAILS: Jiro is a skilled martial artist who attends the same dojo as his rival, Hiro Shouta. Jiro has a score to settle with Hiro and even gets on stage (interrupting Hiro’s performance) to fight him.

PERSONALITY: Jiro is more of a serious type. Although he is Hiro’s rival, Jiro respects Hiro’s martial arts skill. Jiro is very competitive (you see he unknowingly interrupts Hiro’s performance to settle a score with him).

BACKGROUND DETAILS: Hiro is a great martial artist. He was at a dojo alongside Jiro (his rival). And Hiro’s past life was the founder of that dojo (so now he’s up next to be head of the dojo). Even though Hiro is a great martial artist, he doesn’t want to fight. He wants to live as a normal high schooler, so he enters the talent show so that he can use his martial arts as a style of dancing.

PERSONALITY: Hiro is very energetic especially when he’s doing things he enjoys (like the martial arts “dancing”), but he also has a calm/relaxed demeanor. He does get frustrated and angry when it comes to Jiro trying to get him back to the dojo. Hiro doesn’t want to fight nor does he want to carry on the tradition of being the head of the dojo because his past life was the dojo’s founder.

BACKGROUND DETAILS: Raster Moshi is a parody character of Master Roshi. He is one of the judges of the AGT. He’s a total pervert that ruins a lot of moments because of his perverted ways. Example: In the 1st episode he wastes the golden buzzer on Katsumi before she even sings and ruins the show by rushing her. All this just because he thinks she’s sexy and so that he can give her a “hug” in celebration of getting the golden buzzer.
Even though he’s old Moshi can still move like he’s young, but will have moments where his old age catches up to hip (like he falls over his chair and mentions that something happened to his hip. Also Moshi can transform into a really buff/muscular version of himself, but his legs don’t get muscular (giving him the chicken leg or skip leg day effect)
GENDER: Male
VOICE TYPE: an old voice. Mix of being calm and pervy (a good pervy laugh would be great). American accent
PERSONALITY: Raster Moshi is actually calm especially if he’s giving a serious critique on someone’s performance. But when the moment comes and he sees someone he thinks is sexy, he won’t be thinking with his brain anymore. And he’ll ruin the whole moment because of his perverted ways.

PERSONALITY: He can be a harsh critic similar to Simon Cowell, but backlash from the AGT crowd can make him conform to what they like (an example is when he was about to give Trinity Tune a harsh critique, but then immediately changes because the crowd was getting angry).
Sam goes through emotional distress whenever he’s part of some disastrous scene. He DOES NOT LIKE Raster Moshi’s pervy ways! (You see Sam crying and going through an existential crisis when Raster Moshi rushes the stage to go hug Katsumi)

BACKGROUND DETAILS: Satoshi is a young talent agent for Katsumi. Although he’s young himself (21), he’s very mature and professional. He’s the calm thinker in the midst of chaos (as seen in the Golden Buzzer incident caused by Roshi). Even though he’s a professional, he is attracted to Katsumi.
GENDER: Male
VOICE TYPE: young, smart, and professional voice. Couple possible voices in mind are:

PERSONALITY: Calm and professional demeanor. He’s determined in helping his client, Katsumi, with her breakthrough. He genuinely cares for her and her career. He also has a thing for her and even blushes whenever there’s romantic tension between them. He’s a character that is always prepared and on time. He’s great at comforting people (like he did with Katsumi backstage after the Golden Buzzer incident)
