Owl House Graphic Novel Dub (Beginner Friendly)

Who dares intrude upon I, the King of Demons?!

Soon, Mr. Ducky, we shall drink the fear of those who mocked us.

My crown! Yes, yes! I can feel my powers returning! You, there. Nightmare critter. I shall call you Francois, and you shall be a minion in my army of darkness. Ha‐ha!

Eat you? Why would I eat... a potential customer?

Ha! I won't let 'em hurt you. A human like you is much more valuable to me alive than dead.

Not a breakup. Anyway, let's bounce before any more monsters fall in love with me.

Heh, nervous? You haven't been home in, like, how many hundreds of years? What if it's all chaa-anged? What if you changed? You got so used to eating palismen, you can barely keep your human shape anymore!

I can't wait to get out of this prison! There are so many games I wanna play... If we need a third player, we could make another Grimwalker!

Say, you wanna play tag? I'm "it".

Not so fast! I'm not letting you get away so easily. I. Want. My. Badge! ABOMINATIONS, SEIZE!!

Uh, you look nice. Strange, but... nice. And, thank you, Luz. Honestly, I'm kind of amazed with how fearless you are. You've done things I could never do.

Oh! Luz! You're here!- I mean, obviously you're here; this is School, and you go here now, with uh- me... I've been talking for too long.

That's right, Bonesborough. They take your magic. They restrict your knowledge. They say to do it in the name of unity, but what they really want is control. You know what we say to that, folks? Shove off!

I don't know what you're running from, but a great witch once told me... something about punching fears in the face? What I'm trying to say is don't give up so easily. They probably need you more than you realize. We can find another way to stop Belos together.

I don't want to hurt you, Eda. But you're not giving me much of a choice.

Sister? It's been so long since I've seen you last! What are you wearing? You look like some sort of trash collector. Oh, right. You are.

Why, if it isn't Eda's human pet. How perfect. Aren't I lucky to find you here.

Then why were you so easy to curse?!

Hoot hoot, password please!

Hoot! Well, hurry it up with that force field! That rain is getting closer to my precious stucco.

Maybe I can help! I'm pretty good at getting stuck inside people's heads!

You're human! This is astounding! A human on the Boiling Isles! How'd you get here? What are you doing here?

We may be children, but we're also witches. Powerful ones.

So, do you know who those witches are? Those are the heads of the main nine covens. Each one excelled at a magic school like Glandus, St. Epiderm, and, of course, Hexside. Are you prepared to enter these hallowed halls?

Everyone thinks I'm the smart one. So why do I keep acting so dumb?

When we first met you were trying to trick me into joining a coven. And now you're helping me stay away from one... 'cause of a... sandwich?

Not too long ago, when I showed a little talent and started taking more advanced classes, it always felt like anyone who wanted to be my friend had an ulterior motive. Until I met Willow. And, eventually Luz, and some others. So yeah, not everybody's great, but not everybody's bad either, y'know? For what it's worth, you can trust me. I promise not to mess with you.

Cuídate mucho, mija. ¡Qué te vaya bien!

Oh! Oh, my baby! Now, don't worry. Summer camp is only going to be for three months. You'll be so busy balancing checkbooks and learning to... appreciate public radio, the time will fly by!

I had a hard time growing up. I was afraid you would too. My biggest mistake was trying to protect you, by changing this beautiful Good Witch into something she wasn't.

I'm Emira. And this is Edric. We're Amity's older siblings. We heard how you embarrassed her at the school and at the witch covention last week. No wonder she hates you.

Is that so bad? You weren't happy before.

Edric, your face, it's exploding with horrific pustules!

Doesn't matter. I've found some incredible recruits at Hexside. I'm earning my place, just like you told me!

Hello, criminals. What's about to happen should be relatively painless, if you just do what I say.

You know what I'd like, Belos? I'd like to leave the Emperor's Coven, and never step foot in that throne room again. I'd like to study wild magic, and learn how to carve palismen. I'd like to attend Hexside as a regular student, and play flyer derby with my friends. But most of all, I'd like to make sure you never... hurt anyone... again!

ve got bad news and good news. Bad news is I'm all out 'till next week. Good news is feathers are a good look for you.

*Say something you think would fit*

You and I are not the same. You had a mom who loved you, a home, a life. You had it good! And you still wanted to run away! I never had a choice."

I resent you for running away. But I'm also thankful that you did. I dunno. It's... confusing.

My real name is Number Five. My kind was thought to be extinct, but... Emperor Belos brought us back. He wanted to study how we drain magic.

This is the last room you'll ever see alive. Nah, just messing with ya. I'm Viney.

Don't let it see us! I think that's a greater basilisk. I heard about them in a class. My cousin at St. Epiderm said she saw one, but those things should be extinct.

I want to open my own veterinary clinic for mythical pets.

Ah. Looks like our traitor is a clever little songbird.

Raine Whispers. You'll regret what you did to my cloak! And your treachery. Wha

You befriended them? And then you disobeyed me to protect them? I'm impressed. I had you all wrong. You're what, sixteen? It's about time you made connections outside the castle.

Yes! But also to say, let the past stay in the past, witchlet. It's okay to move on.

It’s a palistrom seed. My Palisman-making days are over, but I’ve been helping the Bat Queen replenish her forests, so someone new can learn the trade.

I can't chase you anymore.

Because I am a mother who will do anything for her daughter."

[Sternly] "You know, right after Eda was cursed, I joined the Beast Keeper Coven. I thought they surely would know what to do. But the beast keepers told me the curse couldn't be tamed, and the healers told me it couldn't be healed. Eda told me she found something that made it manageable at least, but... I didn't listen."

And if I ever see you in Bonesborough again, every beast in the forest will be after your head!"
