"Over The Edge" | Minecraft Animated Short Film
Project Overview
"Over The Edge" is an original animated short film produced by KeyMations Productions. The film involves a young student getting turned down and mocked by his high school teacher for following his dreams, until he proves everyone wrong with an incredible invention. The project, similar to our previous projects, is going to be in a Minecraft blocky style with cinematic lighting and features.
Produced in the software Blender 5.3.0, the project will include many talented artists, such as character animators, layout artists, modelers, lighting artists, and much more.
Logline: "After a harsh high school teacher mocks his dream of becoming an engineer, a determined young inventor builds a revolutionary amphibious RC car—proving his doubters wrong when his creation takes a viral, high-speed leap off a seaside cliff."
Voice Actor
Leo is a determined young inventor who gets turned down and mocked for following his dreams by a harsh high school teacher. He is the lead (main) character of the short film.

Hey! What’s with the face? Did Harrison give you a pop quiz?

(angry, O.S.) Leo!
This isn’t engineering; it’s a cartoon!
Focus on passing your exams, Leo. You’ll NEVER be an engineer if you keep daydreaming.
