I'm looking for some amazing voice actors & musicians for a personal project, currently titled The Text Adventure! (Title is a WIP!)

The Text Adventure is a project my friends and I have been working on for almost 3 years now; I write the adventure for them, and my friends play the protagonists of the story. It's based in an ever growing & developing fantasy world. Unlike D&D, though, all players play separately and on their own story path, though all cross over at times for added intrigue! All started at the same point, and because of their varied choices & our joint improvisation, they all were taken down incredibly different routes.
Their tales are all currently continuing in the Second Chapter, which is the setting for all the currently listed characters, as we've cast Chapter 1!

Because of the nature of the project, almost all the characters have a lot of room for more appearances, alterations and shaping depending on your auditions for them, and also potential scope for a larger impact on the story in the future!
The pay is quite small, and this is due to the fact that this is a large passion project as of right now, and funds are limited. However, thanks to current donations to our Ko-Fi, to date we've been able to triple original listed pay, and these prices will reflect that increase; The listed price will be the absolute minimum you're paid.
In the future, it would be amazing to have this as a fully voiced audiobook/ radio play styled product, if not eventually becoming a visual novel, animation, comic or *the dream* an actual video game!

~ Ages 18+ or notice of age.
There is quite a lot of swearing, darker themes & suggestive dialogue included, so we ask if you're auditioning for a role labeled 18+, do only audition if you're above that age. For other roles, if you're under the age of 18, please let us know in the audition notes. Some characters are also open to becoming romantic interests, and though there's no blatant NSFW scenes, some adult humour, themes & slightly spicier acting might be required for this, it currently only applies to previously cast roles. Of course, should we cast someone under 18 or who isn't comfortable with the above for a character, we'll ensure any future interactions with that character remain fully SFW & appropriate. Any questions or doubts on this, please do contact me!

~ Record all lines allocated to the character, and upload as one audition file (Multiple takes encouraged, though no more than 3 please!)

Prašinu, or Praš is a very secretive, scholarly and mysterious character in the Second Chapter.
They're authoritative but quiet, frustratingly secretive and very strong in mind and focus. It's impossible to tell what they're thinking, and though they may know an incredible amount of information, the number of people they'd willingly tell about it to can be counted on one hand, if that. Generally, this means they're largely impatient & uninterested in what anyone else has to say, unless it's concise and to the point.
They're not human, and their species means they have the size & stature of a young child. We picture them sounding childlike, but very mature, mannered and serious in delivery. Something mid-high, breathy and somewhat monotonous with slight expression would hit what we're thinking, but as always we're open to interpretation!
Accent is open, though we are veering away from a North American accent. They're not human, so feel free to experiment with accents & intonations! As a rough guide, think along the lines of Shantotto from Final Fantasy, or Mipha from Breath of the Wild (please don't impersonate either of these!)
They present as female, but nobody is really sure of what they really are in terms of gender or species, other than 'not really human', so any & all genders are welcome to try out!

Though I could whittle away more of my precious time disputing this with you, I must say I'm utterly disinterested in any further conversations between us, and have much more productive activities awaiting me. Your typical romance; a cretin falling in love with a woman far out of his class. Of course, their foolishness only led to death and misfortunes for all involved. One could argue as to whether their circumstances were more or less tragic than their naivety, but one would be engaging in discussions more idiotic than their decisions.
{Prio jokingly responds-"Huh, I didn't take you as a reader of cheesy fictions."}
{Pras replies scathingly, with maybe the tiniest trace of playfulness.}
Bold of you to be so blindly assumptive. I didn't take a bard of such esteem to be the kind who would take the tale so lightly whilst also so openly mocking the genre that lies at the centre of his 'career'.
{Pras shushes impatiently.}

This role is currently a small one, but is performance heavy! This man is basically at a large, celebratory event, out of his comfort zone. He goes to try and get his message across to his ruler, and is somewhat taken aback after being successful in this, and brought to the forefront of attention.
He can be between 35-60, and his accent is open once again to interpretation, though we'll likely have to match it to another character.

{The father cries out, inconsolably sad, as he stands detained, his head held, forced to watch his worst nightmare play out before him. The role will require yelling/crying, so give this your best!}

Behind, you see a figure retrieve the blade, which is on what looks like a chained dagger- the blade, detachable from the hilt, can be used as a whip. Their glass fills with colour, appearing as some kind of hooded elf. He whips the blade out, chipping a few, small fragments from the floor. He reaches his hand out and they hover, suspended in the air.

A apparition that the characters encounter, Fenrir is of an elf like race, with a grey toned complexion and an affinity for cunning and swift, sharp strikes. Not much is known about him, other than he is very self-assured, cocky and suspiciously prepared & willing to fight. He is, however, not the best at trash talking!
Originally portrayed as male, we're once again open to genders for this character, as well as age & accent :D

In the reflections, you see 3 more figures standing in front of you. They stand at different heights- one, around a child's height. Another, not much taller, and the last only slightly taller again. Their faces begin to form, cracked and distorted like a shattered mirror. Each face is painted with a different emotion; terror, sadness & acceptance
Various apparitions appear in the Second chapter; this casting is for the 3 sisters.
When alive, their family was torn apart by their father, who went mad after finding he wasn't part of the monarch bloodline the daughters and mother were a part of. The girls now roam the realm, almost haunting with their presence, lost to memory and time.
Of course, there are 3 sisters, so we'll be looking to cast for 3 distinct voices- we're open to casting one actress for all 3 voices if their distinguishable enough! With that in mind, feel free to audition for a single sister, maintaining the same voice throughout the audition, or try to create a distinguishable voice for each. Effects (such as ghostly echoes or voice layering) is to be used for line 1A only please!
Accents open as always, & we're looking for a grounded performance- so veer away from stereotypical anime vibe ghosts if at all possible! (great as they are :D)
We're also open to the ages & other genders for the siblings, so if you feel you can bring something haunting and ghostly to the table, please go for it! :D

They stand taller and broader than you- presumably an orc or something similar. A large hammer stretches out from their hand, before the 'glass' fills with colourful smoke, pigmenting the form until it appears as a fully formed, yet slightly translucent figure.
Various apparitions appear in the Second chapter; this casting is for Kroaktan, the Youngblood!
Kroaktan is another victim of the world- from a large, orc-like species, they were a fierce barbarian warrior, able to incite an enraged state to deal powerful damage to their foes. They now find themselves in this peculiar realm, threatened by the uncertainty of their predicament- meaning their sense of fight is triggered.
Originally portrayed as male, but open to any gender for this role! Only real requirement is an orc-like sounding voice- deep, booming and commanding. Fight noises will be especially important!
There's a possibility we'll use the audition lines in the final project, but you'll be contacted about this should you be cast :D

Long past time for help! This is only way-
{They swing their hammer, and a fight ensues. Fighting/ effort noises, followed by death noises (Not a gruesome death, more a swift, quick, almost quiet death.}
We'd love to have some original songs created for the story; both in terms of more climactic, defined pieces, as well as more ambience music for the soundtrack. As long as it's somewhat fantasy, we're interested!
For the initial search, & without spoiling too much, we're looking for songs based in a Tavern setting (can include a happy tavern theme, a conflict in the tavern, shenanigans in there, romance, etc!) , a dungeon/ torture chamber, a romantic balcony & a dreamlike ocean. There is a fair share of emotional climaxes of all kinds, so we're fairly open to any and all interpretations; we'll see where things can fit in! Character themes could also be cool- let your imagination run wild!
We're also part way into writing Chapter 2 as well, so we'd love some running theme in the music!
For reference, we've been using predominantly songs from NieR, Final fantasy and the Witcher series as a stand in for the sessions, but of course we'd have to (and want!) to use something original for the series, so anything along those lines could certainly help- though we'd love to have some original style in there too! (Nothing typically electronic/EDM or too modern sounding.)
For payment, it would depend wholly on what we find and what we decide upon, but we guarantee the minimum as the price listed for what we choose. We're happy for people to submit songs they've created prior to this, or if you want to compose something for it using the briefs above and/ or any themes for the characters posted, feel free to! Don't repost any music or use any that isn't yours.
We're open to individual tracks &/or examples of previous compositions! We're also fairly open generally, so show us what you've got!
The pay listing is an estimate for our current (as of 23rd August) budget for music for a single chapter, though the fundraising will be dedicating a large portion of the next milestone, should we reach it, to music alone.
