Original Characters & Other Generic Roles For Islandside Adventures
Project Overview
The remaining Original and Generic roles that have yet to be casted for my Islandside Adventures series. Their roles in the series are very different. The engines help run the different routes(main and branch lines) and do different tasks to help keep the trains running, Some of them will be "On Loan" from time to time. The non-rail vehicles help deliver passengers and goods along the road or air, load up cargo, and help build or repair things. The others have other purposes (all different).
More roles will be added soon

Jasper is a 2-4-4-2 heavy duty goods engine who pulls long lines of freight cars along the Crotoonian National from Celgreb City Central to Gridinia Bay and sometimes to the Pinewood Island Resort.
Howdy everyone! My name is Jasper! I help haul freight along the main line!
Yee haw! Let's get this train a-movin!
What in tarnation?! Stop that, ya varmints!
Andy is a young 0-4-0 tank locomotive that works at the Celgreb City Freight Depot, with Old Puffer Pete, Cormac, Rosie, and a few others. He's a pleasant friend to be around, and always happy to shunt any cars/wagons that needs to be shunted.
I'll be right back with your delivery of new spools of cable, Calley!
Oh! Hello Henry! What can I do for you?
Comin' right up Pete!
Alex is a young medium sized diesel shunter that works at the Celgreb City Freight Depot, with Old Puffer Pete, Cormac, Rosie, and a few others. He's a good friend to be around and is something of a brainiac. Anything you want to know, he's bound to have an answer for you.
Hello there! My name's Alex! I know many things. You can ask me anything you want.
Well, there are four different gauges : standard, narrow, minimum, and broad. Broad gauge is pretty rare nowadays.
Well, freight cars are called different things, depending on where you are. There's freight cars, if you're from the US or anywhere in North America. And trucks, if you're from the United Kingdom or Australia.
Hermione is a young shunting diesel engine that works at the McCrakenton Freight Depot. She likes to keep things in good working order and when things run smoothly, but she hates it when things go wrong or get out of hand.
Here's the oil drums you requested, Olwin. Anything else you need to collect while I'm at it?
What have you done! You messed everything up! Get out of here! Both of you!
There! All organized. Just the way I like it.
Elliot is a 4-6-0 tender engine who works on the mainline, AKA The Crotoonian National. He's often hauling heavy goods back and forth between Celgreb City and Gridinia Bay, but takes a passenger train once in a while.
Elliot's me' name! And goods hauling is me' game!
Goods train comin' through!
Next stop : Rotoslopia Junction!
Lucy is a young 0-6-0 tank engine that shunts at Cliffstone Center Quarry. She's a very shy engine, was custom built in the Celgreb City Workshops, and was put to work in the Celgreb City Freight Depot for a while, but kept bumping into the other engines whenever they come to collect their goods. Some of them even thought she bumped them deliberately, even though she didn't do it on purpose. In the end, she was sent to work up at Cliffstone Center Quarry, where it'd be okay to bump hard.
Ummm, h-hello. My name is Lucy. I'm one of the engines that works up at the quarry after my mishaps down in Celgreb City's freight depot.
Oops! Sorry! Didn't mean to bump you so hard! I'm still getting used to shunting!
I'm sorry, sir. I keep trying to shunt right, but I keep bumping really hard no matter how gently I try.
Dani is a tank engine who's a part of The Crotoonian Railway Police Department. Her job is to patrol the standard gauge lines of The Crotoonian Railway, looking to apprehend anyone who breaks the law and take them to the Railway Impound Lot, where engines who break the law are kept until released. Even though she's a kind engine, her voice should sound like an officer of the law.
Hello. I'm Dani. I work for The Crotoonian Railway Police Department, C.R.P.D. for short.
Diesel 10! What did you just do!
You're under arrest for demolishing public property!
Ellen is an Amtrak diesel engine who's a part of the mainland team, bringing passengers to Crotoonia. She shares a friendly rivalry with Connor, Caitlin and Joel and would often have races with them. She's quite friendly.
Hello! I'm Ellen!
I'm gonna beat you this time!
(laughs) Better luck next time!
Joel is a streamlined tender engine who's a part of the mainland team, bringing passengers to and from Crotoonia. He shares a friendly rivalry with Connor, Caitlin and Ellen, and would often have races with them. He's quite friendly.
And I'm Joel! Nice to meet you two!
(laughs) We'll see about that!
I'll beat you next time for sure!
Alan is a small narrow gauge engine who's a part of The Crotoonian Railway Police Department. His job is to patrol the narrow gauge lines of The Crotoonian Hills Narrow Gauge Railway, looking to apprehend anyone who breaks the law and take them to the Railway Impound Lot, where engines who break the law are kept until released. His voice should sound like an officer of the law.
Halt! This train is suspected of carrying smuggled goods and needs to be inspected.
You better have had a good reason for doing that, Duncan!
That's not what I heard. You're coming with me!
Anastasia is one of the diesels that works on the Minimum Gauge Railway on Crotoonia, with a basis that’s similar to Frank’s. But unlike Frank, she never complains about her work or at all, except when things go wrong like running out of fuel or break down while out on the rails. When she’s not pulling trains, she provides engines a push, as one of her duties is being a banker AKA back engine.
Good mornin', everyone! I'm ready to get crackin'!
Anastasia's the name! Need some help?
Hey there, Mike! Need a banker?
Errol is a minimum gauge tender engine who is a worrisome engine, a lot like Henry and Shelbert. He sometimes gets so worrisome, he ends up derailing. You might even say that he tends to be a bit, accident prone occasionally.
Oh dear! Oh dear! I am so late!
Yes ma'am, but wh-what about the weather?
Ahhhh! Oof! (groans)
Ruby is an American minimum gauge engine who always takes passengers trains. She’s also vain like James, disliking any work that is even the least bit dirty. She especially loves taking coaches filled with holiday visitors during the summer.
What a lovely day for taking passengers and visitors.
Mind my paintwork, will ya?!
All aboard!
Thelma is a minimum gauge tender engine that looks like a smaller version of Gordon. And like Gordon, she often takes a special express up and down the line. But, she never let’s this special job go to her smokebox like Gordon.
Mini express comin' through!
Onslow. Can't you go for one day without complaining about your work? Ever?
(sighs) I had to ask.
Alexis is a minimum gauge tender engine who does mixed traffic work. She’s very kind hearted, but she doesn’t take too kindly to neither lazy nor rude engines like Duncan, Mike, Frank, or Onslow.
Don't worry, Mindy. Everything will be okay. I promise.
Mike! Onslow! Will you two quit arguing! Your argument can be heard all the way to the sheds!
(groans) You two really need to grow up! You both can act so childish, I'm surprised our controller isn't telling you off for it.
Mai is a small minimum gauge tender engine who, like Alexis, does mixed traffic services. She basically sees any job, even shunting, as an important one, which often causes her to gloat every now and then.
Well Ruby, I'd prefer my emerald green paint to your red paint.
I'm off to collect an important shipment of paint from the wharf.
Pah! This a very important job that an engine like you would never get assigned!
Mindy is an American minimum gauge tender engine who usually pulls goods trains, sometimes passenger trains, and occasionally takes empty cars to the ballast mines and delivers loaded ones to Chipperton Wharf to be transferred to a barge or ship to be transported to the coast. She’s great friends with Alexis.
Hiya, Alexis! Whatcha pullin'?
(coughs, then groans) Oh! My paintwork's ruined! Oh well.
Nevermind. Getting dirty is part of the job at the mine.
Syrus is a young minimum gauge engine who often works up at the ballast mine with Onslow and sometimes Mike. Sometimes he’s shy and lacks self confidence, but he’s often able to pull through with the help of his friends.
I-I don't know if I can take this train, Alexis. It looks really long.
Oh. Well, Okay. I-I guess I....I should at least try.
Thanks, Rex. That was just the pep talk I needed.
Gwen is a tender engine who helps out with the mixed traffic services on the main line. She’s very kind hearted, Like one of her cousins, Olwin, compared to her other cousins, Gordon and Spencer. She’s willing to accept any job, no matter how unglamorous it can be.
Hiya! Need a helping buffer?
Sure! I’ll get on it right away!
Of course I can! No job is too small for me!
Ulysses is a powerful narrow gauge engine on The Crotoonian Hills Narrow Gauge Railway. He used to be one of the main engines on the line. Nowadays, he’s either working up at one of the quarries or hauling heavy goods trains along the main track. He can get really puffed up in the smokebox and can get really full of himself, which tends to annoy Sir Handel and Duncan.
I can pull more cars than you ever could! I’m the strongest engine on the line!
Stone, heavy goods. You name it, I’ve hauled it.
Pah! You both are weaklings! Stand aside! I’ll take that load!
Wolfgang is a German tank engine who is brought in to help with the shunting when the yards in Celgreb City was a real mess. He is a very hard worker, and all the other engines know it. He's a nice engine. Although, he doesn’t like to work out in the rain, and gets very annoyed when he has to go out in it.
Don’t fret, I’ll have this mess sorted out in no time!
No sweat! I’ve shunted heavier wagons than this back home!
Ugh! My boiler is soaked! I hate rain!
Franklin is an engine who was brought in to help pull the emergency Crotoonian Defense Force trains for a period. And after he used himself as a bartering ram during one of the final battles against an army of villains, he was badly damaged. But, he got put back together several months later, and now he helps pull passengers and goods along the Crotoonian mainline. If you're ever in a jam and need help right away, he's the engine to call on.
Clear the tracks! C.D.F. train coming through!
What's the matter? You look down in the dumps.
Sure! I'm always happy to help a friend in need.
Bernie is a small minimum gauge tank engine who often shunts cars and coaches around the various shunting/industrial yards on the minimum gauge railway on Crotoonia. He's a cheerful kind of engine, who was built in Manhattan before being brought to Crotoonia. He can be pretty hot headed and thinks of himself as a very important engine. His voice should sound like Wayne Grayson's Joey Wheeler impression from the original Yu-Gi-Oh! Series, or at least something very close to it.
Heya! I'm Bernie! I help out with the shunting in the many yards and industrial locations on the minimum gauge railway, like the ballast mine. And I do a pretty awesome job of it.
Hey! I may be smaller than you, but I'm a very hard worker! And with me doing my own work, you can shunt your own coaches!
Hey, just fuggetabout it. I was a little hot headed myself.
Spike is an old J-50 war department tank engine who used to be a part of WWII, serving as a station pilot in some of the ports in the U.K.. He then retired when the war ended and served as one of the shunters in Boston for a while before coming to Crotoonia to help out during the war against most of the villains, mainly at the Crotoonian Defense Force Headquarters AKA C.D.F. HQ shunting the different coaches and equipment around making sure they’re all in top condition. Once that war ended, he became a full time shunter at Grofflen Harbour. A suggested voice would be Jim Cummings’ captain-like impression, like Thermidor from Transformers : Robots In Disguise (2015).
World War 2 was certainly no picnic. And it looks like this war is no different. If it gets any more violent, it could make World War 2 look like a school yard brawl.
Right. The cannons on this battery car appear to be functional. They’re at least moving around okay. Still needs a field test to see if they can still shoot out the special electric discharging missiles.
Right, ye scurvy landlubbers! Ye heard the captain! Let’s get this lot onto the ship!
Gertie is a small tank engine who works in the various junctions, quarries, mines, and shunting yards across Crotoonia, and sometimes is seen making deliveries to the various harbours and yards. She is a kind hearted engine, even when other engines like Farnsworth puts her down.
Hello. I’m Gertie. I work in the various industrial and shunting yards across Crotoonia.
Let me take that load for you. I’m headed down that way to collect some petrol anyway.
I don’t let things like that bother me. I may not be as big as him, but I’m willing to do whatever work is given to me or whatever jobs become available.
Britney is one of Arnold Finbar’s diesels. She is one of the shunters on the Finbar team. She hates it when she’s either mistaken for or gets called a tank engine, due to her design. Despite this however, she is one of the best shunters on Finbar’s team, and is often seen shunting around the B.U.R. Shipping Co.’s warehouse and the small yard near it. She should sound like either young adult or middle aged, and be sure to sound villainous, as she’s a bad guy.
Hello everyone. I’m Britney, one of Arnold Finbar’s diesel shunters.
If there’s one thing I can’t stand is being mistaken for a...ugh...steamie. And the only thing worse than being mistaken for a steamie, it’s being mistaken for a tank engine.
For the last time, (yell this bit) I AM NOT A STEAMIE!!!!!!
Ivy is one of Arnold Finbar’s diesels. She is one of the shunters on the Finbar team. She tends to be a bit snobbish, despite her size, and really despises being called anything having to do with being small. Despite this however, she is one of the best shunters on Finbar’s team, and is often seen shunting around the B.U.R. Shipping Co.’s warehouse and the small yard near it. Her voice should sound either young adult or middle aged, and be sure to sound villainous, as she’s a bad guy.
Hello. I’m Ivy, one of Arnold Finbar’s diesel shunters.
(annoyed) I’m not that small, so stop saying I am.
Hmph. I’m off to shunt cars at the shipping company's yard.
Dion is one of Arnold Finbar’s diesels. He may be the same size of Britney and Ivy, but he is often used to taking goods trains and passengers along side the other larger engines. He likes this arrangement much more than shunting, as it gives him a chance to stretch his wheels, but if either Britney or Ivy are in the works or on a different job, he is seen covering their shifts. He should sound either young adult or middle aged. Be sure to sound villainous yet humble, as he’s a bad guy. Well, sometimes.
Hi. I’m Dion, one of Arnold Finbar’s diesel engines.
Well, I’m off to deliver scrap to the steelworks. It may not be a glamorous job, but it keeps me busy.
I’m okay with any job so long as Mr.Finbar assigns it to me.
Tara Smith is the dock manager of Grofflen Harbour and she’s a good friend to all who enter and exit the harbour. She used to be a teacher at Celgreb City Proteus Community School until she got a job as a dock worker, which lead up to being a dock manager a few years later. And he life’s been eventful ever since.
Hello! I'm Tara Smith, and I'm the dock manager of Grofflen Harbour!
I'm friends with everyone who comes and goes from this harbour.
We have amazing adventures here almost all the time!
Domanic Doyle is the Cliffstone Mountain Junction station master. He’s super friendly to his staff and the engines who stop at his station. And he’s always willing to help them out if they’re new to the railway. When he first became the station master, he was very mean to everyone and none of the engines liked stopping here at all. This kept on until he was very close to losing his job, seeing the errors of his way, with the help of some of the staff and engines. Domanic is now happy to be at Cliffstone Mountain Junction.
Hi there, My name's Domanic Doyle, and I'm the station master at Cliffstone Mountain Junction.
Whenever you need something or need some help, I'll help you out however you can.
Granted, I used to be as bad as Farnsworth when I first became station master at Cliffstone Mountain Junction and no one liked me. But after I was almost fired and received some guidance from some of my staff and the engines, I'm a lot friendlier nowadays.
The Crotoonian Defense Force’s Computer, name to be determined at a later date, was a supercomputer that was part of the Crotoonian Defense Force’s base that was located near The Celgreb Canal for a few stories in The Origins Of The Islandside Adventures(the prequel series). The computer’s main objective was to alert the team whenever there was an emergency that the police, firefighters, or medical response team can’t get to, whether they’re unable to or impossible for them to get to in time. It’s voice should sound like either Casey Kasem, Frank Welker, Ian James Corlett, Carol Savenkoff, Sandy Fox, or Jason Marsden.
Attention! Attention! Emergency dispatch call from Lusamine!
Order acknowledged.
Searching for results. Stand by.
Typhoon and Monsoon are a pair of tugboats twins. They are very mischievous, like Bill and Ben The Tank Engine Twins, but they are very strong and able hard workers like Donald and Douglas The Scottish Twins. Their favorite day of the year is April Fools day. They love playing pranks on others, (much like the Harry Potter twins Fred and George).
I'm Typhoon.
We're stationed with some other tugs over at Grofflen Harbour.
He's not Typhoon, I am! Apparently not! Right, Monsoon?

Their favorite day of the year is April Fools day. They love playing pranks on others, (much like the Harry Potter twins Fred and George).
And I'm Monsoon.
And our favorite pass time is playing pranks on others.
Seriously?! You can't tell us apart?! Obviously, Typhoon.
Marcie is a tugboat and the newest member of the Z-Stacks fleet located in Gridinia Bay Harbour. She came to Crotoonia after she was removed from the coast guard fleet back in San Francisco. Reason for this is that she tends to be really grumpy(which is most of the time). She's hardly cheerful, except when she's doing small jobs by herself, like barge towing.
Oh. Hello there. I'm Marcie. I work alone because I don't really like working with others.
What do you want?! Can't you see I'm working here?!
Oh....get away from me! I don't need your help! I work better alone!
Rena is a tugboat. She came to Crotoonia after being built in California. She's sassy, like Stella, but cares about her vanity, much like James and Harrison. And like James, she can be lots of fun.
Hello there. I'm Rena. I'm a very hard worker, and I kinda like working with others.
I'll bet I can make my paintwork way shinier than yours ever could!
Watch it! You'll make my paint all dusty! And I just had a hosedown!
Ginny is a tugboat. She came to Crotoonia after being retired from harbour work in Florida, due to being old. Now, she does barge towing along the Crotoonian coastline, so she doesn't strain her engine.
Hello. I'm Ginny. I'm kinda old fashioned, but still able to work.....just the kind that don't involve much towing.
Oooh! My engine hurts! Better slow down.
Steady does it! It's not a race!
Heriet is a hovercraft that transports passengers and vehicles back and forth from the mainland(Virginia) to Celgreb Bay's car loading dock. He's often really full of himself and will often show off to others, whether they're engines cars or even tugboats, which often leads him into trouble.
Hello. I'm Heriet. I run a special car ferry transport service between here and the mainland.
Ha! No one can carry passengers and automobiles like I can.
Outta the way! Important hovercaft coming through!
Helga is a pontoon plane that delivers emergency supplies to the Search and Rescue Center on Crotoonia from the mainland. She's a friendly plane and takes a liking to Harold and Budgie, the two helicopters that are part of the search and rescue team, She sometimes helps out with some rescues when she's visiting Crotoonia.
Jackman! I've got those new medical kits you ordered!
Sure! I'll be there and back again before you can say "whirlybird"!
I'm on my way!
Siegfried is a steamboat that works on the Grofflen Canal taking passengers back and forth from Grofflen Harbour to Chipperton Wharf and back again. He was all full of himself when he first came to Crotoonia, bragging constantly about how the river is the only way to travel, until he ran aground. He's rescued by Thomas and Tillie and now he's friends with them. Now, he respects all manner of travel. He speaks with a Cajun accent.
Hello! I'm Siegfried!
The river is the only way to travel!
Well, I suppose all manner of transport has their uses, but I still prefer traveling by river any day.
Alvin is a quarry dump truck owned by Conrad The Contractor. He used to work in a quarry on the mainland, but he was too reckless so he was removed from active duty and was transferred to a vehicle storage facility in Norfolk, Virginia, where Conrad found and bought him. He’s one of Conrad’s most powerful vehicles, but let’s just say he’s not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.
Uhh, where do I take these rocks again?
Oh yeah. I forgot.
I’m on my way to, uhhh, where was it again? Oh right. The dump.
Blade is a bulldozer owned by Conrad The Contractor. She’s a very scheming vehicle, often comes up with plans to help Conrad get more of the building projects and leave The Crotoonian Construction Co. with very few, although only one plan every once in a while actually works.
Sir? I've had……..an idea.
Oh, don’t fret, by friend. I have a plan to get even with those Wannabe Builders.
Not to worry, boss. This time, this plan is foolproof.
Brian is a demolition crane owned by Conrad The Contractor. He’s a cunning genius who, like Blade, comes up with scheming plans to get more building tasks than The Crotoonian Construction Co. and put their construction company on top. Of course, like Blade’s plans, very few actually work on occasion. He’s Conrad’s machine in charge when Conrad is attending to something else, like another project.
I’m gonna smash that tower to pieces.
I have a plan. And it’s a brilliant one.
You think your plan’s good, Blade? Mine’s better!
Bucket is a front loader owned by Conrad The Contractor. While he is the smallest of all of Conrad’s machines, he is quite powerful. And he has quite a temper when it comes to remarks about his size, so the other machines on the same team know better than to tease him for being small.
I can move any rock and shift any dirt pile.
Who are you calling a shrimp, you oversized scrapheap?!
That’s right! And don’t you forget it!
Crusher is a sort of demolition excavator owned by Conrad The Contractor. With his scissor like attachment, he can crunch up any rock and demolish just about any building. He can get a bit carried away with his work, which tends to annoy Conrad on occasion(even though Conrad knows Crusher means well).
I’ll tear that building down faster than you can say “wreckage”.
Oh yeah? Watch this!
(apologetic)I’m….I’m so sorry sir. I....I got carried away with my work…...again.
Hook is a mobile crane owned by Conrad The Contractor. He often does lifting and loading with professionalism, and it usually goes the way he expects. And when it doesn’t, he can get pretty annoyed. And he sometimes works with Brian and Crusher with demolition. Also, he knows a lot of things, so he sometimes acts like a brainiac, which irritates all around him.
Steady……..steady………..and……….there. All cargo loaded.
Stand aside you two. Let me show you the proper way to tear down the wall.
I know lots of things. More than that radiator of yours ever could.
Paul is a transport truck owned by Conrad The Contractor. He likes to show off his “superior strength”(at least in his eyes) by transporting vehicles to and from the construction site(sometimes two or three vehicles in a single journey) to and from either Cliffstone Mountain’s Quarry or Baseline Quarry or taking large loads of stone. He can get pretty irritated when he comes across a member of The Crotoonian Construction Co..
Watch where you’re going, you toy tractor!
A large load of rock. You could never haul something like that without breaking down.
Pah! That’s nothing to a big strong truck like me!
Silas is a cement truck owned by Conrad The Contractor. He likes to work hard and impress Conrad however he can, but when things go wrong, Conrad gets cross with him.
Cement mixing is what I enjoy.
Quite a work of art here. Conrad will be pleased.
Ugh! What a mess! Conrad is gonna be cross when he sees this!
Winifred is an excavator owned by Conrad The Contractor. Her specialty is digging very deep and wide foundations, but she has do so carefully or else Conrad gets furious with her.
Digging foundations is my specialty.
The deeper the trench I dig, the happier my boss Conrad will be.
I’m really sorry, sir! I got distracted!
Dusty is an old mine cart with a heart of gold. He spends most of his time working at the Bartlett Bay Salt Mine. There's nowhere else he'd like to be, as the salt mine is his favorite workplace. He came to work there in 1809.
Hi there! My name is Dusty! That's my actual name. I'm one of the few mine carts remaining at my favorite work place : The Bartlett Bay Salt Mine!
I'm ready to mine salt. Can you give me a push?
Here come the salt! Stand by!
Roger is a small standard gauge breakdown crane that usually does small jobs like loading up freight cars at the docks and shunting yards. But, he does help lift small engines like Tracy and Tillie back onto the track when needed. He's a good friend to most.
Sure thing, Pete! I'll have these cars loaded up in no time!
Mornin' Calley! What's up?
Oh my! Well, I'm ready to assist!
Like most of the Thomas And Friends coaches, these coaches will be faceless but able to speak. They have no original voice. North American or Texan accents, as long as you're able to do more than one coach impression.
We're ready to roll, Montana!
Ouch! Not so hard, Joshua!
Yes, Huey! It's a lovely day

Like most of the rolling stock, these brake vans will be faceless but able to speak. They will include BR Standard 20 Tons, NER 20 Tons, SR 25 Ton "Pillbox"s, LMS 20 Tons, GWR "Toads" (like Toad The Brake Van), and W&LLR brake vans. They have no original voice. No specific accents, as long as I get more than one voice to, well, voice them.
I'm ready, Puffa!
Steady on there! This isn't an express train!
Easy does it, Jason! This is a very bumpy section of track! You don't wanna derail here, do you?

Silvermist is a 4-4-2 tender engine who runs a special express service along the Seaside Railway from Celgreb Bay to Gridinia Bay and back again. She sometimes helps out with the goods work too. She’s considered the youngest engine on the team, apart from Hoot and Toot, and is still learning her way around. This sometimes leads up to her making mistakes, but she means well, and the other members on the branch line don’t stay mad at her for long.
Hello. My name is Silvermist.
I run the express service on the Seaside Railway.
All aboard!
The Falmouth Coupe TRI coaches are a small set of Great Western Coaches that were restored and used for a special vintage passenger service for The Seaside Railway. Old Slow Coach is one of the brake coaches for the bunch. Need to be able to do more than one voice for this lot.
We’re ready to roll, Duck!
Indeed. We’re gonna be really full today.
We’re coming along! We’re coming along!
Lila Jane is a tall minimum gauge tender engine. She may have the smallest wheel arrangement of all the minimum gauge engines, but she’s kind and does her best to do whatever work she is given. Sometimes, her eagerness to help others gets her into trouble.
Hi there! Looks like you could use a piston.
Don’t worry about me. I can handle your cars as well as my own.
Sorry, sir. I was just trying to be really useful.
Sean Coover is the little Station master of Kalhville junction and is one of the shyest people on Crotoonia. He can get lonely when working at Kahlville, but Serena comes by to give him a hand every now and then. He's a very shy boy and can be easily scared. However the friends he does make will always help him out, He doesn't very much like to be teased or bullied which can hurt his feelings but his friends will always be there for him. He can also be very afraid of the unknown and really doesn't like listening to scary stories. He should sound between a child and a preteen as well as like Lofty's US dub voice from Project Build It series if possible
H...Hello.. there
I'm not that little..
I....I don't know if I can do this
The Minimum Gauge Express Coaches are similar to the standard gauge express coaches, most not having faces. And, like their standard gauge counterparts, they do not appreciate being bumped by an engine and if they are not handled properly, they can get back at their engine.
Ouch! Not so hard, Mike!
You're pulling us well! You're pulling us well!
Don't make such a fuss! Don't make such a fuss!
Camille is a narrow gauge breakdown crane, the only one that has a cab complete with controls She takes her work very seriously, whether it’s helping out with routine track maintenance or putting engines and/or rolling stock back onto the line, and rarely finds anything, whether it’s on the job or not, very humorous.
I see nothing funny about this.
Ready to roll, Rusty!
Goodness! What a mess!
Luna and Becky are two minimum gauge breakdown cranes. They’re also twins. They are very cheerful as well. Like any other breakdown cranes on the standard and narrow gauge lines, they are either used to put derailed engines and rolling stock back onto the track, assist with track maintenance, help unload and load cargo into various cars and wagons, or help out with construction projects. And they're always willing and able to help a friend in need.
Hiya! I’m Luna!
Heaving Hooks! What happened here?
Don’t you worry Mike!

And I’m Becky!
Mike, are you alright?
We’ll soon have ya back on track!
Jules is a small electric shunting engine from France. He’s often seen shunting in Chipperton Wharf, one of the junctions, or an industrial yard. Because he has a battery instead of a boiler or fuel tank, he often requires assistance to get to where he’s to work from one of the other engines. He’s not only grateful for that, he’s also friendly to all on the Crotoonian Hills Narrow Gauge Railway.
Bonjour, mon ami! My name is Jules, and I’m an electric shunting engine.
Oh non! My battery ran down! Can someone take me to get it recharged S'il vous plaît?
Au revoir! See you back at the sheds!
Vicky is a Victorian style tender engine owned by the Crotoonian Railway Board in Boston. Because she transports members of the railway board to and from Crotoonia and even across the island, she can be very snobbish and full of herself a lot like Spencer. She also tends to show off on how special she is, which sometimes lands her smack into trouble. She could have an Australian accent if possible
I am the Crotoonian Railway Board’s private engine. I take them everywhere.
I’m more important than all the engines on Crotoonia put together.
Oh…..why didn’t I listen? Now I’m stuck!
Schemer is the Finbar Scrapyard Co.’s very own Class 08 shunter. Despite the origin of his basis, Schemer is actually American. Like his name suggests, he’s quite the schemer. Whenever he overhears a conversation about a contract either up for trial for a railway company or that’s to be renewed, he always shares it with Arnold Finbar. He also comes up with schemes on how Finbar can get ahead of Dan Peterson when it comes to business.
Well well well. What do we have here, eh?
Excuse me sir, but I have some news that might…………interest you.
I have an idea on how you can get the better of Peterson.
Floyd is a American style narrow gauge tender engine that pulls passengers and freight up and down the Crotoonian Hills Narrow Gauge Railway line. Some of the other engines sometimes tease Floyd about his appearance, looking like a standard gauge engines, but he doesn’t let that bother him. He’s just happy to be useful.
Hey there. I’m Floyd.
I know I look like one of those standard gauge engines, but I’m built to run on narrow gauge rails.
I’m just happy to be really useful, even though I look different.
Summer is a tugboat who lives and works along the Grofflen Canal alongside Sea Rouge, Scuffey and Billy Shoepack, taking barges of supplies and sometimes towing small boats and ships to and from Grofflen Harbour and Chipperton Wharf. She really enjoys the route she goes on, and doesn’t want to work anywhere else. And, when she has to, she tries to get her work done as fast as possible so she can get back to the canal, which sometimes gets her into trouble.
Hello! I’m Summer, and I work on the Grofflen Canal hauling either small boats or barges up and down the canal
Morning Skipper Stu! I have a load of slate that needs unloading!
Why don’t I take that load down for you, Sea Rouge? I’m heading down that way to collect some rails from the steelworks anyway.
Chloe is a large tender engine that helps out with the track maintenance along the main line, and often works alongside the Chuggineers and the island’s ballast spreader, to be named, and helps either collect the ballast needed, lay down or collect the new rails, or take them away to either the Finbar Scrapyards or to the Bluthsburg Steelworks. She’s a hard worker, and is always willing to do whatever is required when it comes to rail maintenance. The ballast trucks know better than to play tricks on her, considering her strength.
Morning Zack! I’ve got the new rails you wanted!
I’ll go. I have no problems with ballast trucks.
Right, off to the Bluthsburg Steelworks I go!
Orville is a steam powered crane tug with a railroad engineer’s cap. He is often used to help out with maintenance on the dockside, helping out tugboats, barges or small boats and ships that have run aground, or to help salvage any cargo that had gone overboard and is either floating around or sunk to the bottom of the bay. He’s friends with most of the residents of the ports, but can become very annoyed with bullies or if something goes astray.
Right, that’s that. All the supplies you need to lay down the new sections of track. If you need anything else, just holler.
Great bouncing bumpers! What happened Digby?! (pause) Don’t worry, Digby! I’ll have you back in the water in no time!
Stuff it, Zorran! Spilled cargo is no laughing matter! Now, clear off, or I’ll report you to the harbour master!
Carl is a small electric shunting engine who shunts wherever he’s needed from quarries and mines to industrial and goods yards. His battery doesn’t last very long. So, he asks one of the other engines to help him to wherever he needs to work, and most of them usually oblige. He’s a very hard worker, and likes it when things run smoothly for him, and hates it when things go wrong.
Hello. I’m Carl, an electric shunting engine.
Can you give me a push to the quarry, please? I don’t wanna run my battery down before I can get to work.
Oh botheration! These cars won’t move. The brakes must be jammed.
Jill is a Class 08 diesel shunter. She’s a hard worker, but there are times when she can be very cheeky and tease someone whenever she hears about a situation they had gotten themselves into, if she finds it humorous enough. All and all, she always tries to help them pull through, even if they don’t even want her help.
Hey there. I’m Jill. I may be a Class 08 Shunter like Diesel, but I’m not even close to being as cruel as him. Plus, I work harder than he ever will.
Hey look who it is : Jelly James! (laughing)
Sorry I teased you, James. Anything I can do to help you feel better?
Reba is a minimum gauge mixed traffic tank engine who usually works on the line from Bermember to Kingsterm on the southwestern side of the Crotoonia. When she first arrived on the island, she wasn’t assembled properly. So, when she was put together properly, with some parts imported from Texas, she was put to work on the main route from Bermember to Chipperton Wharf until the plans to build the new route to Kingsterm were drawn up and was assigned to assist with it’s construction. When the construction was done, she was one of the first engines to volunteer to work the new line. She’s a very hard worker, but she stands no nonsense from engines like Mike and Frank who tend to grumble and complain over the silliest things possible.
Well howdy there! My name’s Reba, and I’m a mixed traffic tank engine!
Oh! I’d love to work on that line! The scenery along it is incredible.
Dang it all, Mike and Frank! Rather than complainin’ about what job you’ve been given, you should be grateful that you have a job at all today! Mrs. Tavern is not very happy with the way you two’ve been actin’ lately!
Cathy is a small maintenance diesel who often works alongside Rusty. Whether it’s helping repair sections of the main narrow gauge route or shunting in the quarry, she doesn’t mind doing odd jobs, even if she gets made fun of for doing so. She has a good heart, and is always willing to help out her friends with jobs too big or too heavy for them to manage alone.
Morning Rusty! What are we working on today?
Right! We’ll get these cars sorted out!
Wow! That sounds like a lot of work for you! Would you like a wheel?
Tony is an American style narrow gauge tender engine that pulls passengers and freight up and down the Crotoonian Hills Narrow Gauge Railway line. He’s one of the biggest tender engines on the narrow gauge railway, and loves to pull long trains of either coaches or freight cars, as a way to show off his strength. However, he hates rainy and snowy days, cause he has to then pull half of the usual sized train he can pull.
Morning everyone! Tony reporting for duty!
I just love pulling really long trains along the main route.
Bother! I won’t be able to pull long trains like I normally do! (pause) Hmph! Well, just because it’s one of the rules of the rails, doesn’t mean I have to like it!
Karen is an American style narrow gauge tender engine that pulls passengers and freight up and down the Crotoonian Hills Narrow Gauge Railway line. She may not be the strongest narrow gauge tender engines, but she’s a hard worker, determined to prove that she’s a really useful engine. She’s usually one of the most careful engines on the railway, but there are times when she's being so careful, she ends up running late and gets into trouble.
I’m Karen. I may not be strong like Tony, but I can work just as hard as him.
Oh dear! The tracks are buckled. I’d better go slowly so I don’t damage my cargo.
Sorry sir! The tracks were buckled, so I had to go slowly and take care.
Michael is a tender engine who helps out with passengers and goods on The Seaside Railway. He really enjoys working by the sea, and wouldn’t wanna work on any other routes. He does, however, tend to get upset during the stormy seasons, usually taking place in the spring and winter. On beautiful days, he tends to sing as he works.
I really enjoy working by the sea. So many spectacular views of boats and ships at sea, and the color of the water just sparkles in the sunlight.
Ugh! I really hate the stormy season. I really do.
Sing this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8auM8k7Xjg
Russell is a small tender engine who helps out with mixed traffic services on The Mountain Branch. He’s one of the medium sized tender engines, which is the perfect size for tackling the steep bends and twists along the mountain route. He really enjoys the mountain views, especially in the winter when snow covers everything.
Hey there! I’m Russell! And I help out on The Mountain Branch.
I may be a small medium sized tender engine, but my size is the perfect one for the mountain route. So many twists and turns, a bigger engine would’ve derailed on the first turn.
Wow! What a view, all covered in snow!
Babble is a small tender engine that handles goods trains on the Mountain Branch Line that starts at Cliffstone Mountain Junction and reconnects to the main line at Rotoslopia. She was for a small period of time working as a shunting engine at The Celgreb City Freight and Coach Yards, but because she’s a bit of a chatterbox, she was relocated to the Mountain Branch after when the route was completed. When she got to work on that line, she did mixed traffic services. But the passengers were beginning to get annoyed of the chatterbox engine, they complained to Dan Peterson(the railway controller during that time) and he put the little tender engine on goods work. So now, she talks to the freight cars as she puffs up and down the branch, which they actually enjoy……...even the Troublesome Trucks like talking to her and enjoy her company.
Improvise being a chatterbox, as described in the description, preferably a bunch of run-on sentences
Jonathan is a small tank engine who belongs to The Bartlett Bay Salt Mine after The Seaside Railway reopened after it’s restoration. He enjoys working at the mine and by the sea, and is great friends with Dusty and the other mine carts. He sometimes takes loads of salt to either Celgreb Bay or Grofflen Harbour to help out the other engines on the branch line, and is sometimes loaned to help shunt cars and wagons at either harbour when the team at either one are understaffed.
Any accent is acceptable
Morning, Dusty! You and the other mine carts ready to mine salt?
All right! Let’s get to it!
Right! Next stop : Celgreb Bay Harbour
