Franklin is an engine who was brought in to help pull the emergency Crotoonian Defense Force trains for a period. And after he used himself as a bartering ram during one of the final battles against an army of villains, he was badly damaged. But, he got put back together several months later, and now he helps pull passengers and goods along the Crotoonian mainline.
