Project Overview
Welcome to this casting call!
This is to find voice claims for my original characters to have a reference point or potentially use in the future. All of the characters have descriptions of them and their voices/voice claims to work off of. These aren't all of my characters but their some important ones. Any others would be from my friends such as Starlight.
Many of these characters began off of Undertale but have been getting reworked to distant them from it ever so slightly. If your auditioning here's some things you need to know.
1. This project is 15+. Certain character descriptions and lines are rather violent and creepy so be warned!
2. Have a decent mic. It doesn’t have to be a fancy one but if it’s good it’s good.
3. If you could provide a source to be credited on that’d be lovely! Especially because I might ask for help for upcoming projects
4. Don’t be upset if you don’t get picked. If you audition it is practice for yourself and a way to show you keep trying for a part. You will find a part for you, it’s only a matter of time.
5. Feel free to improvise lines or come up with new ones, especially if they match!

Jack Nightmare is the father of the four heroes. He is the prince of the Nightmare Realm who escaped to the surface in an attempt to not become king. Ever since he was little, he was haunted by the Corrupted Nightmare, who takes control of him every Halloween and begins a soul harvest. Jack always keeps his calm unless it involves the Corrupted Nightmare or his team. Anytime he is around, fear takes over. He is determined to keep his family safe from them despite the risk it has. I like to think he has a rough voice that could range from high to low, with a maniacal laughter despite his kind nature. (Headcanon has been the Mayor from Monkie Kid)

[Reassuring with slight concern] Please, just call me Jack. The prince title doesn’t suit me anyway.
[Frustrated] Oh no. [Raising his voice] Oh no! We are not doing this again! Every year you pull this nonsense and it’s just so tiring! [Frustration turns to fear] You… You wouldn’t hurt them..! St-Stop smiling like that.
[Dazed] Everything hurts. Getting possessed still sucks heh. [Laugh weakens into pain.]
Midnight is the oldest out of his siblings. He dropped out of college to help his family fight against the villains that have began to appear in their city and world. He's the most laid back of his siblings but is highly dedicated to fighting for them and to protect them. Midnight has figured out the Shadow's plan, making him more fearful than ever for his father's life and of the Corrupted Nightmare. He and Starlight have a sibling rivalry which he seems to be losing despite his plans of getting back at her. Midnight's voice could be medium to low with some nervousness in it. Headcanon voice is Dr .Flug from Villainous

[Stressed out] Who the... What the hell are you? You can't be a ghost... those aren't real. [Midnight is hit and in pain]That was [Cough] very real...
[Excited] You saw that episode last night right? I think what he said is gonna be important later on, or am I looking in it to much?
[Annoyed] Starlight... Give me back my headphones please. I just wanna read my book and listen to music... Hey! Get back here! [He chases after her]
Alisa is the second oldest of her siblings. She is outgoing and cheerful despite all of the madness that follows her family. She loves to bake for her family and friends even though its denied most of the time. However, Alisa's kindness has a limit, in fact her kind nature can quickly turn to distain if you wrong her or her family. She feels this mostly towards the villains, although she can't do much due to her magic being much weaker than the rest. She wants to train more to at least stand a fighting chance. She has a cheery medium to high voice. Headcanon voice is Mei from Monkie Kid.

[Excited] I baked cookies! Who wants some while their fresh and warm? [She hands out some] Well are they good? Great!
[Terror and hostility] We know what you are, and we know what you want... Guess what though, you're not gonna get it. I can't fight you like this but we're going to keep you away from dad. No matter what you sicko.
[Tired] Is this good? [Huff huff] I think I'm getting better at this! Even my phobia form. Its stronger against most of your attacks now! [Giggles]
The Corrupted Nightmare is a feared being in his realm due to his sheer power. As a result of a failed spell, he was corrupted and perished, losing nearly all of his memories. He's extremely manipulative and narcissistic, even believing he is a god with how much power he has. The shadow steals souls to acquire even more power, being believed to have taken hundreds of thousands in the past 4000 years. He despises the royal family, especially Prince Jack, possessing him every year with the hope of taking total control. The Corrupted Nightmare has a fairly deep, haunting voice with a British accent. A filter for echo/reverb could be used to get the ghostly effect. (Headcanon Malak from Dark Deception.)

[Shouting in pain] Gah! Dammit! Mortal fools dare to attack me?! I'll rip your souls clean from your bodies!
[Laughing to self] Oh please young puppet, we both know you can't ever dream of stopping me. After all, I am the god of your realm... [Maniacal laughter]
[Scoffing at humans] Look at how weak and pathetic these little people are... Once they even see me they'll be screaming. [Mockingly] "Oh no! It's the Shadow Nightmare! We're going to die!" [Laughs to self]Their beyond meek, yet their souls are still a need to me.
HT Jack is a variant of Prince Jack from a ruined timeline. Here he's gone mad from a hunger for flesh and being corrupted after taking the Shadow's soul. He tried to live in normalcy with his family until his daughter died. HT snapped and began enjoying the fear and power from his chaos. Tricking people into making deals, joining him in a game, or just terrorizing his victims became a hobby and a way to enjoy "meals". He still cares for his family and friends. He even swore to not harm children, to not put parents through the same pain he had. The Horror Nightmare now works with the Corrupted Nightmare from the main timeline, yet refuses to fight the heroes. His voice is difficult to explain but the headcanon is Snatcher from A Hat in Time.

[Laughing with murderous intent] Would you be interested in a game of hide and seek? It's one of my favorite games! My version is fairly simple, once I find you, you die!
[Concern] Oh you seem to be bleeding! [Concern turns to malicious joy] Such a sweet scent.
[Sighs] You know what, let's make a deal. You help me find my friend, and you get to live. How's that sound? [Laughs after successful lie]
Yet another variant of Jack. From a timeline where the population is mostly evil and his past is relatively the same. He ended up in the main timeline by accident, trying to escape his world's Shadow. CJ ended up making a deal and working with the main timeline's Corrupted Nightmare and joining his team. Despite this, CJ isn't fully capable of evil acts, mostly due to fear of his leader and HT, along with knowing what the Shadow's plan for this world means. His voice is almost exactly the same as Jack's just slightly higher.

[Laughing] I wish I had this book earlier. I could've taken the world year ago if I had it! Oh well, I have it now, as long as he doesn't get it back.
[Fear and anger] What the hell is wrong with you two!? I thought this was a team mission and now you're gonna leave me!? [Only fear remains] S-sorry sir...
