Operation: True Love (Webtoon Fandub)
Project Overview
Hey guysss!! I wanted to do a comic dub again since I missed doing them, so I decided to make a fandub for the ongoing and newly released webtoon series, Operation: True Love. This will be a long term series, releasing fandub episodes 2-4 times a month.
Summary: It’s hard dating someone who won’t give you the time of day. Su-ae Shim knows that better than anyone, having dated her indifferent boyfriend, Minu Kang, for years. She sometimes wishes she could be more like her charismatic stepsister, Ra-im, who seems to have it all. But life takes a turn for the weird when Su-ae discovers Jellypop, a sentient flip phone, in her locker. Jellypop has a lot to say about her love life, especially as Su-ae drifts further away from Minu and finds herself running into Minu’s friend, Eunhyeok. Add to the mix a growing suspicion that Minu and Ra-im might be more than friends, and Su-ae might need a miracle to navigate the ups and downs of high school romance!
Requirements:
- Must be 14+
- Must have good audio quality/mic (background noise is okay as long as it's not easily noticeable, distorted dialouge is a big nono)
- Discord will be the main app used for submitting lines and any pieces of media needed, so you need a discord account as well.

Su-ae is an average looking high school girl, nothing special about her just very plain. Her personality and bright and cheery though, and she is a very decisive and motivated person who is overly affectionate to the people she loves.
Voice Range: Medium-Medium High
Ra-Im (Ra-Eem) didn't cry while telling me her story, but I did. There were no secrets between us after that. (Deep affection and care for her sister.)
Hehe.. uhmm I asked for your notebook earlier but you didn't.. Answer me.. (awkward, trying to apologize and be friendly)
What's this? A jellypop phone? What's an artifact like that doing inside my locker? (Innocent, geniuenly confused)
Eunhyeok is Minu's bestfriend who often does well in school and goes to internet cafe's. He's seen as the pretty boy and can be somewhat cold ad rude.
Voice Range: Medium Low-Medium
What is it? Did you get a new phone or something? (partially irritated)
So what? Just do your home work. (teasing, cocky)
What do you even like about that guy? (ridiculing, casual talk)
Minu Kang is Su-ae's boyfriend who barely acts like it. He's overly friendly and flirting with other girls making Him and Su-ae's relationship the target of rumor's. He can appear somewhat manipulative and fake. But he covers it up well with his charm and charisma.
Voice Range: Medium Low-Medium
Why'd you throw it so hard? (menacing, threatening)
Man, this is so freaking childish. (disgusted)
What are you, a kid? You can walk home by yourself, right? (dismissive)
Ra-im is Su-ae's adopted sister in which the two are very close with each other. She is kind, and gorgeous with beautiful visuals that make her appealing. it is speculated that Minu may be cheating on Su-ae with Ra-im
Voice Range: Medium-Medium High (sweet and somewhat soft spoken)
