Project Overview

Operation Infiltration is a short 2D digital, action spy animation and student film that I'm currently working on for college about secret agent Lucia Hunter, sneaking into a weapons facility belonging to an international terrorist known as Kronos, and must stop him from creating a New World Order by terminating both him and his missile launch.

There will be small appearances of blood, but not in a graphic fashion, this is being made with an educational setting and goal in mind after all, but just keep that in mind when applying if you're comfortable with this sort of thing.

I'm also NOT a professional yet, so keep this in mind too when it comes to the script and animation.

I need 3 voice actors to play the parts of Lucia, Kronos, and the facility's computer and what kind of voices I'm looking for are listed in the roles section. However, there are some important things to note:

  • This will be an UNPAID project, due to budgetary restrictions.

  • Prefer applicants to be 16+.

  • Please ensure your microphone quality is as clear as possible for your audition.

  • The script will be shared in the form of a Google Doc.

  • Because the script is more action focused than dialogue, recording shouldn't take long, and I shall inform you if any re-recording is necessary. However, if you can't do it on a certain day, or need more time, just feel free to say and I'll be happy to accommodate for said changes.

  • I'm happy to communicate through the likes of Discord, Twitter, Instagram or TikTok.

Because I need this film completed for college by Monday 19th May, the deadline for applicants will be Friday 25th April so that I can make good progress ASAP.

May also change the name for this project at some point if I can think of anything better :)

  • Update (16/9/25)

    Progress really steamed ahead today, many of the backgrounds needed for shots I never got to finish off during college have now been completed, I've created a brand new logo for the short (which you may have seen already on the thumbnail for the project), and overall it's been a much more productive day than what I was expecting! 😁

    Script edits are however being considered to accommodate some of the changes I plan on making, and I still need to record Kronos' lines yet, as I didn't get time to do so whilst working on the project for college, mainly because the monologues he was going to recite were low on the college priority list (I only had 5 weeks to make this animation initially, and some days of those days I fell ill, so I'll send that out soon)

    I'm also planning on improving some of the first scenes I animated

  • Work has restarted again!

    Started working on additional scenes for the animation again today that I didn't get to finish in time for college, despite having toothache that's slowing me down, more updates will come the the more I work on it

  • Apologies for the long break from updates

    I'm so sorry that I haven't been active on this site for well over a month, working on this animation in such a short time frame to meet a college deadline made me overly stressed multiple times over, so as a result, production got really messed up and I haven't been keeping on top of things as much as I've liked. This is the first time I've tackled a project of this scope and I've been too ambitious with it 💀

    That being said, I've been taking a prolonged break from animating since the deadline for this animation to relax after submitting an outcome I was happy with for college that was complete, yet incomplete, so my work isn't done yet.

    I'm planning to work on this again soon at a slower pace as a personal piece and hope to have it finished later in the year, preferably for late summer, early autumn/fall.

    I'm so sorry for keeping you all hanging like this, I'll inform you when I get into full swing with production again.

  • Update (27/04/2025)

    Well, I've been listening to a lot of your auditions and I've made a decision on who's playing Lucia & the computer, in which I'll reach out to you tomorrow.

    I'm having a hard time deciding who's playing Kronos because there's so many more people to choose from, but I should also have that decided tomorrow.

    However, everyone's done such a great job, so I may follow all of you as I'd like to keep the door open for future opportunities.

  • Update (26/4/2025)

    Thank you for all the submissions for the project, I'll get around to listening and making a final decision for all 3 voices tomorrow.

    I'm also rewriting and shortening the project, as I feel as if my current script was way too long for what it was in order to make my life a lot less stressful, but I've been hard at work animating the essential, non-speaking sequences. Expect a rename for this project soon as well.

    Once again, thank you for all your help so far, I never imagined to get 30+ submissions in such a short period, it's my first project on here, so I really appreciate it. I'll post another update tomorrow :)

Lucia Hunter is the 21 year old, female lead protagonist of this short film. She is a secret agent tasked with taking out the international terrorist, Kronos, before enacting his plans. She's an athletic stealth specialist and fighter, but also has to use her ingenuity to take out her much stronger opponent.


I imagine her to sound similar to Sasha Waybright (Amphibia), an example of which I've attached below. Someone with this youthful, sassy, determined energy, who also gets easily angered when provoked:

Kronos is the main antagonist of this film. He's an international terrorist who wants to create a new world order. All of his limbs are cybernetic, giving him more enhanced weaponry and strength in combat compared to Lucia.


He's very sly and maniacal, inspired by a range of spy villains and dictators. I imagine him to have a European accent. However, as he's a newer character than Lucia, I don't have a reference for his voice, so feel free to improvise.
