buggy's new line
there's been an added line for the buggy audition, i want the people who plan to audition for buggy to try their take on a maniacal laugh, remember i'd prefer to have a voice sound similar to the funimation dub Buggy
One Piece Abridged Episode 3
Project Overview
So I'm back with another project, the first episode is okay but the second one (while in production but still almost complete) is going to be 10 times better because of an editor who was nice enough to take care of making the episodes what they are. In this one, it's going to be from Luffy vs Morgan (which i already have the voice actors for) to Nami tying up Luffy before bringing him to buggy
REQUIREMENTS
-a discord account (we communicate from there, so it'll just be easier to manage our actors)
-good microphone with little to no background noise, if there's excessive noise in the background, your chances of getting the role is going to be a lot smaller
-you need to be kind and patient, these projects take time and i have no problem with telling you updates on the next scripts progress or how editing is doing, but the second you start acting out for no good reason and start treating others like crap, i will re-cast
-finally, you gotta be willing to swear, i understand some people don't want to swear, but for these characters, that isn't an option (of course they don't swear every second word obviously, but they let a few curses out here and there)

He's a lot like he is in the actual anime, he's laid back, but doesn't hesitate to hurt people who hurt his friends (this role does require swearing, please be aware of that before auditioning) the voice is up for interpertation but do don't anything goofy for the character, his voice should still resemble shanks

this is a "no good bandit" which is always made to look worse than he actually is, in luffy's flashback, he's the only one that has any sense. for this role i will need a rougher sounding middle aged man, you can put any soin on it if you'd like, nothing too strange though

the only reason why the role says minor is because in this episode, she shows up at the end, this is a long term role DON'T AUDITION IF YOU WONT BE COMMITTED TO PLAYING HER FOR A LONG TIME
Nami is a lot like she is in the show but cares more about herself in the long run (before and after arlong) i'd like a good impression of Nami, obviously it doesn't need to be spot on, you can put whatever spin on it you think works best for the character (side note: you'll most likely be asked to also record one line as makino from luffy's flashback)
(peeking from the roof after luffy beat up the thugs nami tried to pin on luffy) oh shit he's actually strong, (speaks up so that luffy can hear her trying to flatter him in a nervous tone) Heeeyyyyy buddy, you're really strong, do you work out?
Nami: do you like fighting?
Luffy: hell yeah, nothing like clobbering some idiots
Nami: Really? well do you want to fight a literal clown?

this is probably the closest to a character i'm going to need someone to be, buggy is pretty much the exact same (except maybe a bit more menacing) and like nami, the only reason why the role is minor is because this episode only has buggy show up at the end, he'll have a lot more lines in the future couple of episodes. As for the voice, try to do a good buggy impression, if not, then show me something else, i'm open to other voices if you think another one would suite buggy better
explain this to me...how does the map get stolen...when there's SUPPOSED TO BE AT LEAST 10 PEOPLE GUARDING IT
how about you get that map back, before anymore "shit" happens again...
