Occult: Danny Pink
Project Overview
First thing I'd like to mention this is a passion project I'm funding out of pocket. I plan to make zero dollars off this project. I simply wanted to turn some of my written horror short stories into small audio dramas! I will be producing and composing the music myself. Danny Pink is a short horror story that covers the subject of bullying. The story is around 2500 words.
First paragraph to explain the story and give you a feel.
The final bell rang out. That bell carried dread for Danny. You see Danny was Occult but she attended a human school. Her parents wanted a normal life for her, however it's been tough considering she was a talking pig. Never ending comments and insults came her way from the other students. Not even the teachers would help.. They wanted nothing to do with Danny Pink.
If I can just reach the end of the hallway and hit the left stair case I can avoid them. Danny put on her brave face, her snout aimed at the floor and started walking books in the soles of her hooves. She could already feel the eyes of the other students glare at her from each side of the hallway. They looked down at her since she was so small in size. One boy said "It's the piglet.". Just keep walking. Keep your head down.
Another said "Freak..". I'm almost there. Doing her best to ignore the remarks she started picking up the pace. She was more than halfway there with no sign of them. "Why does she even go here?" Another remarked. I think the same thing all the time. "I heard her family runs a butcher shop.." Whispered a teacher. A student whispered back "But how does that work? I mean they're animals right?". This was true her father ran the local butcher shop. Of course pig was outlawed in their neck of the woods. Her parents always avoided talking about it the selling of pork around the world.
