NutShot - Peanut Themed Indie FPS on Steam
Project Overview
So this is my game NutShot. Its a class based, fast paced, peanut themed arena FPS. I've been developing it for a couple years now and i recently dropped a trailer for it which i will link below so you can have more context on the game. The chemistry of the cast is VERY important. I need you to bring your best to the table. Although it is a free project i am very open to paying seriously in the future when NutShot releases. I want everyone who will be involved to gain. I want NutShot to have wonderful voice acting and i also want to give a chance to some voice actors who really have what it takes. Lets see what you got! This is a long term project, if you cannot dedicate your time do not submit. Also feel free to improv lines AFTER you've recorded the ones required (dont make it too long). There will be an interview if youve been selected for a role. Also feel free to apply for multiple roles idk if that's already a given but yeah do that. Also if you have different takes of a line put it in! (max 2 per line) BEST OF LUCK!

So he's a bit of a dick. but a loveable dick. Think pretentious man meets scout from TF2 with a dash of johnny bravo.

Born straight from the very fucking essence of southern Alabama, 55 year old Hugh, has nothing but pure USA in his blood. He's a cold blooded American. Wielding specialized shotguns that can propel him to great lengths helps with keeping people off his property too. He's not exactly in touch with anything relevant or able to read a room but when you need guns, he's got 'em.
He's a very old guy, He still goes to his favorite 92 year old diner where they make coke the old fashioned way. He's the strongest on the team but mentally hes not all there. He can flip in an instant and doesn't take threats lightly, I wouldnt mess with him.
You dont have to be old for this just sound mature and a little not all there

Coming in from Arkansas, 34 year old Stu is all the muscle with none of the height. Standing at a height of probably 3 '4, his pear shaped body makes it easy for him to launch himself with his grenade launcher, reaching incredible speed and heights. No building too tall or sandwich too great for this mighty man to conquer.
His voice should sound like a nasaly southern accent with a *slightly* high pitched voice. He talks very clear, man of little words.

The Marksman. Sliding in from Kingston Jamaica, 42 year old Cameron doesn't take shit from anyone. Skilled in his marksman abilities he dawns a high caliber sniper rifle on the field. Hes not the fastest but he makes up for it with his high-tech advanced invisibility technology. Perfect for getting the drop on anyone.
Very strong Jamaican accent. Maybe even a little over exaggerated.

The Specialist. 46 year old Haywood is nothing short of a genius. Building elaborate inventions such as his trusty jetpack that help him hover and dash through the air make him a threat to all others. His biggest goal? Cracking the secret to teleportation and universal travel. But thats a little too big for now, so he sticks to setting his enemies on fire with a flamethrower.
Now he technically is a nerd but i don't want to hear a stereotypical nasally nerd sounding voice, he's smart, a genius, a little afraid sometime, maybe a little gay too. He should sound normal, so just give it your best shot at you think the best voice for him is.

The Slasher. Straight from the trenches of Detroit, 16 year old Phillip is a soft lovable cold stone killer. How did a teenager manage to get on a government funded mercenary mutant peanut team you may ask, the answer? We really don't know! But what we do know is he's very loved and he’s the fastest of the bunch and refuses to use any sort of long range weapon, sticking to trusty melee weapons. For style points of course. Not cause he cant aim or anything.
If you think your voice sounds younger or higher pitched (not too high pitched) and your a teenager, this is the role for you!
Philip is soft spoken, but that doesnt mean he should sound like a little b####. Just sounds like a regular talented teenager who doesnt get enough respect around his adult peers. Also tends to ramble and yap a bit.
