DESCRIPTION

Having spent his entire childhood growing up in an orphanage, Eiden has little interest in the notion of traditional family life. On entering high school, he took on several part-time jobs where he cultivated a strong and unapologetic sense of independence. At the same time, he was able to maintain a kind of youthful optimism, always willing to seize the day and live purely for the moment. He might be both logical and level-headed, but he always keeps an open-mind, willing to accept others for who they really are.

It was during Eiden's adolescent years that he first came to terms with his sexuality, engaging in several on again off again relationships. Although extremely versatile in the bedroom, his relationships would often end due to reasons such as differing plans for the future or simply having drifted too far apart. At the age of 23, Eiden embarked on a career in sex toy design, but due to his ever increasing workload he began to neglect his emotional and physical needs.

Then, while working late one night, he encounters a neon gemstone fragment belonging to an important client and is suddenly thrust into a parallel world. The people in this new world tell him he's a descendant of a mysterious figure named Huey. After learning of the elemental gemstones and how their powers are waning, he somewhat reluctantly sets out on a journey to restore power to the gemstones and find a way back home. In this new land, known as the "Klein Continent", it doesn't take long for Eiden to strike up several strong and very "intimate" partnerships.

Personality

Eiden is an open-minded and optimistic person with a strong and unapologetic sense of independence. He is always willing to seize the day and live purely in the moment. He possesses exceptional insight that lets him easily understand people's moods, and often assumes responsibility for creating the atmosphere in any group he is in.

Eiden is also very good at taking care of others. However, since Eiden can easily get carried away with caring for others, he has a habit of hiding his own fragility, which leads him to ignore his own true feelings.

Description: A familiar created by Huey, Aster has been mixing with the nobles of the kingdom for decades, amassing a great fortune in order to allow Huey to operate freely within the kingdom. He owns a grand mansion on the outskirts of the kingdom that Huey and his clan members used as a base of operations.

With a love of all things mischievous, Aster can't help playing constant pranks on his innocent counterpart, Morvay. Eiden's sudden arrival piques Aster's curious heart. He's more than a little excited to see just what this shiny, new toy can do.

As a form of condensed essence himself, Aster's need for regular essence replenishment is high. Ever since Huey disappeared, Aster has got into the habit of refilling his essence levels by sucking blood. To Aster, there's nothing more delicious. However, since he knows Eiden isn't the biggest fan of this habit, he tries his best to keep his blood-sucking tendencies in check. Despite that, something tells me that Aster's been getting more than enough "satisfaction" since Eiden came along.

Personality:  A bit of a bratty type that likes to scheme a lot and very money motivated. Can be a bit bossy at times.

Description: Just like Aster, Morvay is a familiar created by Huey. Responsible for collecting intelligence and checking on the condition of the gemstone altars across the land, Morvay's abilities truly come in handy.

Morvay has a voracious appetite for essence, and ever since Huey's disappearance, he's been using sex to refill his stocks. However, his activities have gotten a little out of hand... A rumor began to spread of a "crazy pervert demon" prowling the kingdom, which Morvay himself wasn't best pleased about. Still, self-control definitely isn't one of this familiar's strong points.

Personality: Social butterfly, but also has some himbo moments mixed in there, is also prone to being bullied by Aster, he can be hot headed but is overall a kind but... thirsty individual.

Description: Yakumo is a serpent spirit born in the Wood Territory. After transforming into human form as a child, he was adopted by an elderly couple from a local farming village. Naturally endowed with incredible power, he's ever fearful of going berserk and causing great harm. Despite his constant fears, he's a loyal friend and always strives to be of aid to his allies.

During times of peace, Yakumo is able to convince himself that he's just a regular human. However, he suffers from nightmares. Nightmares in which he hurts the ones he loves. But then, on one fateful day, he encounters a man named Eiden.

Personality: Yakumo is a kind-hearted, considerate and polite person. Due to his fear of losing control over his power, Yakumo lives a cautious life, so he can be scary when he gets angry. Easily affected by the changes in the mood around him, Yakumo is a sensitive person, and this often leads to excessive self-criticism or getting caught in a whirlwind of emotions because of minor details. In new environments, he has difficulty becoming part of a group because he easily overthinks things. However, he is still an idealist who excels at giving others warmth.

Description: Of noble birth, Edmond is extremely well-educated and possesses impeccable manners. Despite being naturally well-endowed with essence, he rejects the use of magic and loathes the feelings of sexual desire that essence brings about.

Beneath his icy cold exterior, Edmond is righteous and pure, always viewing situations from the point of view of an honorable knight. As a result, even though he finds it hard to understand Eiden and his compatriots, he commits to aid them in their duties under orders from the king.

As he spends more and more time by Eiden's side, that icy cold exterior might just start to melt.

Personality: Edmond is well-educated, well- mannered, and a master swordsman. He possesses strict self-discipline and fierce pride, conducting himself in an upright manner, but his pure and honorable mindset can often be more of a hindrance than a help. Since Edmond tends to stick to convention when handling matters, he lacks flexibility when it comes to thinking about creative changes, and the unexpected will easily leave him full of worry. However, Edmond is capable of keeping his composure even in the face of hardship and challenges due to his incredible strength of will.

Description: Ever since he could remember, his parents had told him he was "born for a special purpose" and "chosen by the God of Klein". Fulfilling his parent's wishes, he joined the priesthood when he came of age and is well-loved by the congregation. He even acts as a teacher to the local children, who particularly adore him.

Olivine might be a pleasant conversationalist with a friendly demeanor, but he holds desires in his heart unknown to those around him. The doctrines he lives by and the importance of his position in the community mean he is unable to divulge his innermost secrets. As a result, Olivine has continued to suffer in silence.

When Eiden arrives at the temple with an important assignment one day, Olivine is mesmerized by his candid way of thinking and speaking. He starts to think there might be other ways to live his life..

Personality: Olivine has a bright and friendly demeanor, and is adored by his congregation and the local children alike. Due to his upbringing, he has a strong sense of responsibility and moral principles, but he is genuinely passionate about taking care of the people around him, and never tire of helping others. His warm personality creates harmonious relations with people. However, it means he often pays attention to others' opinions, and hope to get everyone's approval to maintain it. He also tends to accept unreasonable demands without a word and will occasionally sacrifice his own interests to his disadvantage. Thus, he actually feels shackled by the many dogmas and responsibilities that repress his emotions.

Description: One of Huey's oldest clan members, Quincy has lived in the forests of the Wood Territory for decades. Possessing a huge amount of essence, the people of the forest see him as a taboo existence due to his unchanging appearance over the years.

Accustomed to life alone, and not one for conversation, Quincy hates nothing more than being troubled with trivial matters. His silence is often mistaken as a sign of anger or irritation, but he's used to it. At least he's got his furry companion for company!

Quincy feels a special attraction to Eiden and his unique level of vitality. Despite dismissing him as troublesome at first, Quincy warms to Eiden after spending more time together, and soon even begins to show his softer side.

Personality: Quincy is notorious for being constantly tired despite having a seemingly endless amount of stamina, and is quick to view things as troublesome. Though he is a man of few words and has a bad habit of jumping to conclusions, he is a very good listener. He is capable of understanding those he's close with even without words, correctly interpreting their intentions on the spot. He's pragmatic and has a rather stoic exterior, but is very protective and gentle by nature. He puts a lot of importance into the concept of meaning, honoring the local tribe's traditions to this very day, and has an unmatched respect for the forest. He's also very practical, preferring to do things by hand rather than using magic.

Description: Once a fox spirit, Kuya attained a human form after years of exposure to high levels of essence. With a sinister smile ever-present across his face, he's an expert at using illusions to manipulate others for his own amusement. Kuya acknowledges few others as his equals, however Huey was a rare exception. Approving of Huey's immense power, Kuya agreed to become one of his clan members.

Despite having lived for generations, Kuya still delights in searching for new and exciting experiences - loathing nothing more than the foul sensation of boredom. He's also constantly on the look for weird and wonderful items with which to decorate his home.

Following his encounter with Eiden, Kuya comes up with all sorts of crafty tricks to test out Huey's so-called "successor". Kuya's wicked antics mean he soon has Eiden right in the palm of his hand.

Personality: Ever meticulous and fickle, Kuya is a mischievous and unpredictable being. He seems to appreciate a challenge and those who are honest in their desires. As he is very easily bored on account of his long lifespan, Kuya always seeks new and interesting experiences.

Description: Not long after transforming into human form, Garu’s homeland became part of the dreaded Dead Zone. After getting separated from his pack, he encountered an old man who taught him to speak the human tongue. After the old man died, Garu was left to fend for himself in the wilderness.

Possessing an innocent heart, Garu desires nothing more than to make new comrades and leave his life of solitude behind. Food has always been scarce in the wilderness, so Garu is easily lured by the smell of freshly roasted meat… or just about anything edible. He might be small in stature, but he always fights his hardest for anyone he calls master. He especially looks forward to getting “rewards” in return for his hard work.

In the desolate, lonely environment of the Dead Zone, Garu was forced to talk to himself so as not to forget the language the old man taught him. After meeting Eiden and becoming his ally, Garu decides he’s finally met the master he’s been looking for. He’s willing to undertake any task Eiden gives him, giving his all to ensure he pleases his new master.

Garu

Garu is innocent and friendly. He easily charms others with his personality, and although timid at first, he's upfront and honest about his desires. He can be forceful and stubborn when he's worried about the well-being of those he holds dear. Although he considers himself to be less brave than Karu, he can be confident and acts well in a leadership role if it's necessary. Garu is warm and kind, deriving intense satisfaction from being encouraged. Because he spent a long time wandering in an unforgiving environment, uncertain whether or not he would have a meal, he has an unusual obsession with food.

Karu

Karu is overconfident and foolhardy. He is determined to become a powerful Yokai worthy of respect and to never be taken advantage of again. He talks down to others and is dishonest about his vulnerabilities and the things he likes. Although he refers to Garu as a fool, he is very protective of him and won't let him come to harm. Karu shares Garu's obsession with food.

Description: Faithfully carrying out his "mission" from his home deep within the Dead Zone, Blade possesses extreme battle prowess, yet has an innocent and child-like personality, often frankly stating his thoughts and feelings. A lover of all things he deems "cute", he also enjoys learning from the many bizarre and exotic books he's collected over the years.

Personality: 

Blade has an innocent, extroverted, and child-like personality He tends to be in high spirits with an infectious optimism that can enliven the atmosphere. He loves collecting items that he believes are cute, and it allows him to find joy in ordinary everyday life. Blade has a habit of frankly stating his thoughts and feelings, and will come up with weird ideas from time to time.

Eventually, he starts to reveal some insecurities regarding his freewill. He seems uncertain as to whether or not he has decided on his actions because of his own will, or because he was told to do so.

Description: A genius strategist with an unwavering will, Dante has tenaciously protected the Fire Territory from the spread of the everlooming Dead Zone. With the utmost confidence in his physical abilities, he places a great deal of importance on an individual's strengths and weaknesses. As the Sun Lord, he's swift and decisive, never allowing his methods to be called into question.

Haughty and callous, Dante has the utmost confidence in his own power and abilities. Possessing the air of a true leader, he judges all by their strengths and weaknesses. Be it waging war or ruling over a city, he handles all duties with great aplomb. If only he could express his feelings a little better.

Personality: 

Dante is a disciplined person who places a great deal of importance on the strengths and weaknesses of himself and others. He expects the people around him to maintain order in the same way. As the Sun Lord, he is swift and decisive, radiating a ruler's aura that strikes fear into people's hearts and giving people a lot of pressure.

However, Dante is not good at is dealing with emotional problems. He feels a strong sense of responsibility for not only Solaria, but any activity that requires a group effort. Thus, he also often suffocate under the same high standards he imposes on himself.

Description: Appearing as if out of nowhere, this particular clan member has traveled far and wide, picking up a great deal of knowledge along the way. Regularly accompanied by a boreal owl known only as "Father", he marches to the beat of his own drum. He will use any means, good or bad, to achieve his goals, all the while maintaining his own set of beliefs and convictions. For reasons unknown, his essence has a tendency to go haywire, occasionally leaving him in a state of excruciating pain.

Personality: Rei has a very curious mind, making him willing to go to great lengths — sometimes even dangerous and harmful ones — to satisfy his desire for knowledge. He's extremely intelligent and usually knows the answer to whatever question he's confronted with. When he doesn't, he either comes up with the solution on the spot, or immediately starts investigating, gaining the needed information in a matter of days. His living space tends to appear extremely messy, but according to him, everything has its place and is in perfect order. Because of this, he gets upset when someone moves his belongings. He is very honest and blunt about what he thinks and puts his research about essence and gemstones above almost everything.
