New Cartoon Series
Project Overview
I am in the beginning stages of a cartoon comedy/drama series. I am looking for actors, writers, animators and audio and video editors. In the starting stages there will be no pay. However, I am hiring a marketing consultant who specializes in Kickstarter campaigns. When I am close to having the team in place the fund raising will begin. These funds are to help grow the brand and its popularity. When that happens the goal is to receive advertisers or to get the show on one of the streaming apps. Once the show is monetized that is when team members will start to receiving pay paid.
For the people chosen to be on the team, each of them will need to sign a nondisclosure agreement. That is non negotiable. This project will be kept under wraps until the premier. There will be IMDb credits once the show gets going.
If you are a writer, google drive stuff does not pull up on here. Please use a PDF file for your example scripts.
Animators, please attach MP4 files of your cartoon samples. These MUST be videos, Also, I need animation that goes beyond small movements. I need the characters to have as motion as you can give them.
Editors please attach files you have worked on to impress me with your mad skills. If you have raw tracks before the editing and the edited version. too, that would be amazing.

There are equipment requirements for voice actors. You must have a quality grade XLR microphone. In your submission list the type of mic you work with and the value of it new. No USB or cell phones. Tell me about your treated work space. What is your DAW. Thank you.
Please Please read the entire project description. Any submission that does not comply with the Instructions will be immediately discarded and will not be considered. I am not trying to be rude. I simply do not have the time to write people back and ask them for the information that is being requested.
So far I have rejected many applications without listening to the audition due to people not following the instructions. I understand that most people in CCC are new to voice acting. I am not trying to be harsh. If you want to advance in this industry, you MUST read all the instructions that come with an audition. People who are reviewing auditions are going through many other auditions and applications. The first thing that will get your application rejected is if you have NOT followed all the instructions. The fact that I increased the font size on the warning above should give you an idea of how important this is for you. I WANT you to succeed. I need actors for this project. So once again, please follow the instructions. Most casting directors and producers would not give additional instructions like this. If you have applied before and you were rejected, you may resubmit if you follow the instructions in the body of this posting.

All my life, I’ve lived and worked in the big city, which now that I think of it, is kind of a problem since I always feel uncomfortable around crowds. I mean it, I-I have this fear of enclosed spaces. Everything makes me feel trapped all the time. You know, I always tell myself, there’s gotta be something better out there, but maybe I think too much.
