Never Forgotten
Project Overview
Hi everyone! Welcome to the Casting Call for Never Forgotten. Never Forgotten (NF for short) is an unreleased novel with which we are going to turn into an animatic series. We here at Nova Satus Studios are taking ideas for small projects, and working to turn them into a reality as a larger production. Team members for NF will be asked to comply with several rules, and you must have a discord if you are casted. We are looking for VAs, Artists, Script Editors, and many more people in the production process. Thank you!

The main character of the story, a young woman with a secret. She’s immortal. Looks as if she is in her mid 20s and has limited control over her emotions due to her Husband passing when they were in their late 80’s. She is now 98 years old, sassy, and determined as hell to get him back. She should sound like a somewhat tame ball of energy.
(Frustrated) "Really? You used to make the drive in two and a half hours, and you manage to find the traffic on today of all days?!"
(Panicked/Scared) "I'm sorry, Ash… I'm… Talon and I will explain everything in a few minutes. Are you okay??"
(Excited/Jokingly) "Where's my hammer? *gasp* Wait! Do you think I can fly? That would be so cool."
Blaze’s best friend. He is supportive, caring, strong, and everything you would want in a guy. He has been by Blaze’s side since they met in 2018. He is 100, looks as if he is still 26, and is your typical boy-next-door. He should sound calm, cool, and collected, with a sense of urgency.
(Determined) "Blaze. We’re going to figure this insanity out, alright? Even if it kills me, we’ll get it figured out. We’re going to get Hunter back. I can assure you that. One way or another, we will do this."
(Jealous) "Hey! I’m not jealous… Just really annoyed that I don’t have any crazy superpowers like you seem to have miraculously developed."
A shy, protective immortal who is the son-in-law of Blaze. He is most communicative when comfortable with others, and does not like to be pushed out of his comfort zone. He should sound passionate, but soft-spoken.
(Welcoming/Confused) "Hey, Blaze. How are you? I overheard some yelling outside. Is everything ok- ow! What was that?!"
(Comforting) "You know I always do, mom. If you need anything, just call, and we'll be there."
Daughter of Blaze, married to Ash. Strong, smart, fun-loving immortal. She should sound caring, strong, and energetic.
(Concerned) "Yeah, it's fine, Ash and I were just about to head home, we should be there by the time you get there. If not, you have a key."
(Teasingly) "Where's my goodbye, Uncle Talon?? Hmmmm?"
(Angry/Confused) "Uncle Talon? What the fuck?! How did you get here?"
Husband of Blaze. Has been missing for 12 years. Should sound tired and drained, but strong.
(Overjoyed) "Blaze! What are you doing here? I never thought I'd see you again!"
(Curious) "Are you telling me you have powers, too? I thought I was the only one… man, it's hard making waves in hell."
(Worried) "Blaze. I love you. I always will. Just as I will always support you. Please be careful."
Brother of Jackson. Older man. Good guy turned bad. Should have a southern American accent.
(Amused) "Grandpa? I'm starting to like you, kid. I'll believe your portal nonsense when I see it. Does your friend have fancy doohickeys, too?"
(Prideful) "Nye County, between the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest and the mountains."
(Upset) "Sadly is an understatement. I like the lightning best so far."
An Immortal “assassin.” He should sound snarky, egotistical, and evil in a boyish way.
(Menacingly) *chuckle* "I ain't no fool. You don't have anything, immortal."
(Evil pride) "Dex. Dex Griffin." *pause* "And you're coming with me."
(Dying- speak as if you're using your last breath) "E- E- Eve…"
The doctor who cares for Blaze in the hospital. Should sound like a snarky old lady. Your typical “Karen” if you will.
(Authoritative) "I'll check her out and see what I can do to clean her up. I'll have her back to a relative state of health in no time."
(Demanding) "Sir, can you please leave the room?"
(Calm, cool, and collected) "I still need to put a cast on your knee, but you can start filling out your paperwork in the meantime."
Does God really need a description? No, he’s not a woman in this story. He should sound all-holy and kingly, with a deeper, fatherly affection type of voice.
(Regal/Majestic) "Talon. My boy. I am so proud of all you have accomplished. Please. Watch over your one true love. She is the only one who has the power to harm you, as you are for her."
Satan shouldn’t need much of a description either. He can shape-shift. Should have a similar tone to God, all-holy, kingly, and a deeper fatherly, affectionate voice.
(Kingly, Bold) "Blaze. You have grown to be a fine woman. However, we need to have a long talk."
(Caring, Fatherly, Wise) "The tale of two immortals, one from heaven, one hell, together are soulmates, has been in the makings for a long time. Those two immortals… are you and Talon."
(Powerful, Wise) "Blaze Arrowood. You are the Princess of Hell."
A nurse working in the hospital where Blaze is taken after her injury. They should sound formal, while also holding a sense of concern and surprise upon seeing Blaze’s injuries.
(Concerned) "What happened here?"
(Business mode) "What kind of injuries are we dealing with, kid?"
(Informative) "Follow me."
A secret predator. Brother of Hayden. He should sound cocky, victorious, with a deeper, sinister voice. He should also have a southern accent.
(Cocky) “Gotcha!”
*Muffled grunts and fighting noises*
A mother who fell victim to a car crash caused by Blaze’s uncontrollable powers. She should sound very concerned for her family’s health, and should have a pleading tone when asking for help.
(Concerned and hurt, yelling) “Ethan?! Baby, are you okay?!”
(Pleading) “Please, help us! My baby, he’s hurt!”
*Screams, painful grunts*
A father who fell victim to a car crash caused by Blaze’s uncontrollable powers. He should sound more calm and collected than the mother, but still hold a sense of urgency and fear in his voice.
(Yelling) “Anna?! Anna, take my hand! I’ll pull you out.”
(Soothing) “You’ll be okay, don’t worry… We’re here. You’ll be safe.”
*Screams, painful grunts*
A child who fell victim to a car crash caused by Blaze’s uncontrollable powers. They should be very dazed and confused after what happened to them, and not know how to handle the situation. They should sound very feeble and in pain when delivering their lines.
(Confused and hurt) “Mom? Dad? What happened?”
(Crying) “Mommy… Mommy, it hurts…”
*Screams, painful grunts*
The mega bad guys of the story. They hunt for and assassinate the immortals, and will stop at nothing to regain the balance of humanity.
(Sinisterly) “Greetings immortals. We are the Predators.”
(Threatening) “Make the wise choice here, nobody needs to get hurt.”
*Fighting and dying noises*
A character artist will work on creating reference sheets for the characters, as well as turnarounds. This will help the animators in drawing the characters so they have their details correct.

A general artist will create art such as promotional pieces, merch designs, cover art, etc. They will mainly do miscellaneous pieces for the project.

A background artist will focus on creating sketched backgrounds for the animatic. They must be well-versed in many different environments, i.e. outside nature, indoor buildings, etc.

The animation director will oversee the production of the storyboarding process and communicate with their team on what they should be accomplishing. They will also be drawing for the storyboards.

The storyboarders will plan out scenes with rough sketches based off of the scripts and the animation director’s plans.

The musicians will help compose and/or record music for the production. They should have access to either instruments or some sort of synthesizing program to create the music if they are recording the music, and should have a decent understanding of music theory and tone if they are composing.

The audio engineers will add sound to the animatics. They will add and edit the voice lines to fit the animation, as well as add in the sound effects provided by the sound designers where they fit.

The sound designers will help gather/create sound effects for the audio engineers to use in the animation.

The animatic editor will take the drawn frames of the animatic and piece them together with correct timing. They will use the time of the recorded lines and sound effects to gauge how long to keep a frame on screen. They will have to have a reliable video editing software to put it together (iMovie, Kinemaster, Premiere, etc.).

The PR team is in charge of posting on our social medias as well as updating/managing our website. They could also help with email/direct message correspondence if necessary.
