Project Overview

**DISCLAIMER**

This casting call is for voiceover in an unofficial companion app for the Nemesis Board Game by Awaken Realms. The unofficial companion app and its developers are not affiliated with Awaken Realms or Nemesis in any way, shape, or form. This app is a community project developed to provide additional game world immersion and handle tedious aspects of the game. It is intended to be used alongside a physical copy of Nemesis. 

These voice lines will be played when the user selects a character.


This app has already been released, future updates include addition of voiceover. Current and future versions of the app are available on the files tab of the Board Game Geeks Nemesis page.

You will be given full credit for your work in the credits section within the app itself


The lines in the audition blocks are the same lines that will be used in the app. If cast, your audition may be used as is. These lines are subject to change.

All accents, voice, and age types will be considered except for children, the characters are all adults from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and ethnicities. 

Feel free to provide an additional short line or two of your own, get creative, we'd love to hear what you come up with, just be sure to use the characters title i.e. soldier, medic in the line. We don't have a set idea for what any of these characters should sound like.

Exceptions to the above are:

CEO who is visibly elderly in game art, voice must sound older.

Mechanic who wears a full body suit, voice can be any gender.

Requirements:

Clean audio without any background noise, peaking, distortion, or effects. Standard cleanup such as light noise reduction, EQ, and/ or compression is acceptable.

Finished files will be .mp3, 128kbps, 48khz mono

Finished files will be sent to an email address that will be provided upon being cast.

Voice actors cast for these roles may be contacted again in the future as the app expands to include expansions or other features, so while this casting call is only for a single line, more lines may be needed in the future.

    Thank you to everyone who submitted auditions. All roles have been cast and it was a tough decision for all of them. We may have another casting call later for some general screams or shouting for male and female, so be on the lookout for those at a later date. Thanks again !

    Hey all, roles have been narrowed down to about 3 auditions each. I am passing the final decision to the rest of the team now. If you find your audition was rejected its because it made the shortlist.
