Project Overview
Hey there, hi! And thank you for your Interest in this Passion Project that I was keeping in the back of my head for quite a while.
Need for Speed Most Wanted 2005 is one of the most influencial Racing Games ever made for a variety of reasons. It had a - although barebones - pretty captivating Story, amazing Music and an almost RPG-esque way of handling the Game progression with an evergrowing City, constantly growing threats by the Cops and most importantly: Bossbattles. The Blacklist is a concept that NFS sadly never brought back again - and probably never will. Every Blacklist driver has an Intro Movie, like a good Boss should, yet although the Game is mostly voiced these Intro-Movies aren't.
A missed opportunity if you ask me.
And the very reason you are here.
We are going to voice every single one of these Intro-Videos. And the Race Intro-Sequence.
And adding a little Call, because Rog always says "XYZ Awaits your call", but obviously thats never happening because the player doesn't talk.
The Scripts are going to be very short and sweet, because I need to make the space that I have count.
This is going to be uploaded on Youtube.
Oh and, if you wonder why Jewels is missing from the list: She is already taken haha.
So with all that in mind, lets fly by the rules real quick so that we are all on the same page, aye?
Please have atleast decent audio quality. We all know what that means.
Do read the character descriptions and directions provided carefully.
There will be swearing in this, so if that makes you uncomfortable do not audition for the sake of everyones time.
This Project might become an entire mod. There is no guarantee this happens, but I work on making it happen anyway. Feel free to hit up @Bossfightmedia on Discord if you are a modder interested in tackling the Idea!
Please keep your Audition to a AABBCC Format, so you properly capture your emotional Range and Voicevariety!
Outtakes and Ad-libs are always welcome! We love the fuckups around here.

Lastly, this is a Fandub thats meant to be fun and a good time for everyone, so its unpaid to keep the pressure low. However, that doesn’t mean its going to be low Quality, because you’re still working with a professional Director.

This crazy fool is a major heat score. Blacklist gave him the name "Taz". He hates cops and they hate him. Watch yourself around this guy. He prowls the streets of Rosewood looking for newbies.
Given that description, I'd absolutely paint him as a Powertrip Guy, who just really likes striking down others. Imagining a bit of a deeper, menacing Voice for him that sounds a little psycho. But as always, your own take is appreciated.

This dude's been holding it down in the #13 slot for a while now. He can't break out of his rut and no one can run him out. He's slack and dangerous but knows how to handle his ride. He'll smoke you if he gets a chance.
Vic is a mexican Bodybuilder, pretty narcissistic and not exactly the brightest bulb in the Store. He also is Razors personal brute force to knock the lights off people that piss him off. Since he has quite the physique I imagine him to have a somewhat deeper voice, but as always go with the visuals and your gut and let yourself be guided by them. (There will be 3 spanish Lines in his Script.)

Izzy is definitely a chick you don't want to mess with. She knows everything there is about cars, on and off the road. She's got her ride wired tight. She comes from a long line of race fanatics. Everybody she runs with is either a cousin, friend or uncle. They all stick close so don't get on her bad side.
Izzy is the first female Driver in the Blacklist and with that a pretty rare kind. Girl stems from a Family of exclusively racers and has the skill to backup her confidence. She knows her Car inside out and I imagine her to kind of always talk down to other people, because she has a very high opinion of her self.
Aside from that entirely open for Interpretation.

This slab of a Korean muscle considers himself a real ladies man. He's all show. Rumor has it; he panics around the cops and bails on races the first chance he gets. Along with that they say he has problems working the clutch so he's slow off the line. I wouldn't count on it if I was you.
Big Lou is another bodybuilder and possibly even more stupid than Vic. He takes most of his confidence from having a little Fanclub (or maybe harem?) making a show around him, but I assume his voice to be very unimpressive. Almost a little highpitched even. Most of his everything is smoke and Mirrors, so try to bring out the annoying bragger. However, since he is 11 and therefore, also managed to Gatekeep Izzy from advancing, there is some basis to his skillset so keep that in mind.

This flake calls himself "Baron." He's a rich guy from the coast. He thinks garage custom is an excuse for being broke. As far as he's concerned, "if it's not brand, it's nothing." Go show 'im what home-grown rides can do.
Baron is a Snob from the Coast that has an allergy against Shirts for under 100 dollar. Dude is a massive Sunnyboy that attracts the special kind of woman that wants to marry a wallet with a Guy attached. His voice should reflect his luxury lifestyle and general expectation towards Life to treat him like upper class. Also he talks down to everyone under his general payclass. Probably has Dutch ancestors somewhere.

This guy hails from the lower east side of Rockport City but now rides on the coast. He’s a big fan of imports and goes out of his way to take on the big blocks.
Earl is the JDM (Japanese domestic market) Elitist on the Blacklist that would not touch any big block if his life depended on it. He is confident, but also knows his Limits and tries to keep his head low, which made him sit at the first single-digit-spot for quite a while. He is pretty bulky all things considered, and actually HAS a voice In-Game, but given the Nature of the project I won't just skip him because of that.

In-game Bio:
Kaze is crazy. What she can't conquer with skills, she demolishes with speed. Don't let her sweet looks fool ya. She'll thrash anything she sees, including you. She's not afraid to ding her ride to put you out of commission.
Kaze is the very definition of a crazy Bitch. She is adrenalin hungry and loves the thrill of thrashing the Cops - and her opponents. So a couple beauty issues aren't meaning the world to her if she still gets to win.
We dont know anything about her height, but given she is a Japanese we can assume she is rather smol, and she defnitely is slim. So assume a voice that fits this bodyframe and add a sharp contrast between adrenaline and no adrenaline. As the junkie she is, she probably only truly exists when in her car. Be sure to add that level of psycho.

In-game Bio:
This here is Ming. He prides himself on keeping his ride looking stock. He’s fast and shreds radar traps everywhere he can. He’s the straight goods. Word is he got his ride from some rich cat who talked when he should have been listening. Don’t take ‘im on until you’re ready
Ming is another snob that needs the feeling of understatement to showcase his true glory to everyone else. Dude has massive Small-Guy-ego-issues and will take any chance to deprecate everyone around him.
That being said, there is a certain base to his ego as he is number 6 on the List and probably smoked the old owner of the Lambo for the Pinkslip. Try and keep his voice evil but also rather high and very much elitistic. He is a small mexican man with an insane need to showcase his brilliance after all.
However, I am as always open for interpretation. Definitely one of the Characters I'm rather uncertain on.

Webster is Number 5 on the Blacklist and probably looses any given Chessmatch to a pack of american cheese, because his Intellect is not extremely high. He also is the opposite of tidy, and I could atleast imagine him to be pretty rascist. He is on the taller side of things, but not very muscular by training and moreso just having a Bulky physique by trait. I imagine his Voice to be very "thuggish" in a way that makes him seem like the average highway robbery suspect. That being said, man is competent and can sound like he is.

I don't know how JV does it, man. His nights are spent in the clubs and days on the streets. This guy's got a lot of street rep. Cops hate him and racers want to be like him. His flash green Dodge Viper has cops swarming around it all the time
Joe is a DJ by Night and a streetracer by day, and since he doesn't seem to sleep, probably also a highgrade drug addict.That being said, man has got charisma that makes him very popular in all the clubs he constantly DJs in on top of being a racing role model as the 4th Place on Blacklist. He is Afro-American and his voice should reflect that heritage. I also imagine him to always talk in a very floaty, chill way like he's always high as hell. Feel free to add an accent, but its no necessity.

You know Ronnie. He’s one of those rich freaks who thinks he’s ghetto. He definitely ain’t from around the way. Got his car as a graduation gift from his parents. Don’t be fooled though, the guy knows how to drive. He’s been to every race school you can think of.
Mommas Rich Boy that decided to hit the Illegal scene for social points. He is cocky, annoying and plays Gangsta alot although he, like most of these people, never seen a Slum from the Inside. He also is skinny, normal height and constantly tries to be the hypeman for the currently loudest opinion. Regardless, he is competent and confident. Like Earl, Razor and Bull, he has an original voice in the game, but due to the Nature of the Project, I'm not going to skip him. Also no call for him, since he has one in the Game already. However, the game somewhat indicates him to be irish so if you want, add an accent.

If it weren't for Razor, Toru would still be hangin' around at the docks dreamin' of the Blacklist. This fool thinks he's got a sleeper, calls it reverse psychology. The only thing stock on his ride is the paint. Toru likes to keep his car mint so give him a bump when you can.
Bull, like many other Luxury Car Idiots has a bit of an ego-thing going on, where he needs to show off his money and skill all the time, although he, much like Ronnie, was a no-one prior to Razors Success. He is a calm, calculating A-hole that mostly leeches of Razor and lives for Fame and Rich people lifestyle.
He also is the kind of person to polish his shiny Silverstar every day. He tries to keep in shape. Remember that he, much like Ronnie and Razor already have a voice, but given the Nature of this Project I won't skip on them.

Razor rocketed to the top of the blacklist using your ride. Now he's holding it down and rolling the streets like he owns them. He'll do anything he can to give himself an edge. That includes messin' with your head. Remember, you can't trust anything he says.
Razor is the classic Wifebeater (if he had one) that somehow managed to manipulate the players Car so he could take it after the Race. A cheater, a coward, severe aggression problems, a summary of good traits you could find in a person. Razor is skinny, but definitely works out. He should have a voice that speaks of this constantly held back aggression he takes with him every step. Much like Bull and Ronnie he has a voice in the original Game, but I didn't want to skim on them due to the Nature of this Project.
If you can, try to get somewhat close to his OG Voice (but dont copy, just TRY to see what made it work. :D)
