Adam Warlock

Adam Warlock

Project Overview

ADAM WARLOCK is a Minecraft animation that is a collaboration between Comic Cave Productions & Slightly Insulting. It will be set in SI's MMU (Marvel Minecraft Universe)! It will be based on the Marvel Comics character of Adam Warlock and will take heavy inspiration from Jim Starlin's mid 70's work on the character.

Around ~20 minutes estimated runtime. Mine-Imator VexelBuild animation. It will be very philosophical.

PLEASE READ BELOW THIS:

Please put a discord in your audition!

I most likely want the same VA for Adam & Magus just to give it more authenticity so if you audition for one, please audition for the other (make the voice a bit more different of course LOL).

The script is not finalized, so there might be a character or two addition by the time of the deadline, but no character will be deleted. I also don't have the Minecraft skins yet for this but updates will be sent in the Comic Cave discord server.

Thank you all for auditioning!

Latest Updates

  • One day left!

Ladies and gentleman, there is one day left until the deadline.
I figure I'll get a lot of submissions today as the last day usually gets a lot.

Please remember to read the description. Fix any mistakes (like putting no discord)

Also remember to be patient as this is gonna take a while to cast. I also haven't finished the script. If you are cast, everything should be to you by the end of the month.

This project does not have an expected release date as I want to take my time on it.

Thank you guys. Good luck. Stay heroic. And...

    Excelsior!

  • Update #3

Alright, I put this project back on Featured meaning we're gonna get more people soon!

As a reminder, please read the description of this project. Very important!

Discord is a requirement in your audition. No discord=No consideration is now the rule in the majority of my projects. If you previously forgot one, put it in the comments. If you say something like "I'll provide contact details if I get the role" guess what? You're not even being considered for the role...

Thank you all. I just want to be serious and semi-stern with everyone about that because I always get around 20% of auditions without a discord.

Good luck to everyone with this project. I'm very excited to work on this.

It will be made in the new VexelBuild of Mine-Imator as well and will vastly expand the cosmic side of Slightly Insulting's MMU!

  • Update #2

I'm gonna change the deadline to October 5th instead of October 1st. I put as October 1st because you know... first of the month.
But I'd rather have it the fifth because I know a lot of VA's will send in auditions over the weekend and I want VA's to be able to send in lines before the deadline.

I know it's in like a month but I still would like to inform y'all of this change.

Also, Comic Cave Productions currently has the Scarecrow audio drama casting call out now and it's deadline is SOON! Audition quick!

Also again feel free to join the Comic Cave discord server to get more updates: https://discord.gg/UHPUqfz7Dx

    Thank you!

  • Update #1

I'm taking this project off the "Featured" list for the next few days because I recently had the idea to expand the CCDCU to audio dramas and I want writers for it, so I'm going to do a casting call for that over the next few days.

Anyway, I have listened to a lot of y'alls auditions and I love them! I'm so excited for this project!

As always, everyone is welcome to join Comic Cave's discord:

And, if you're curious about my work, please check out the Comic Cave channel (https://www.youtube.com/@ComicCaveProductions)

And, Adam Warlock will be in SI's MMU so check out that! (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-bYEfm4EMlkcG63WjNYLEromktAvaKEw&si=3y8vFB8VPVn0bQ7n)

Thank you all. Stay Heroic. Excelsior!

I really want a "mighty" voice for him.
Very similar to him in Marvel Rivals (https://youtu.be/btLe7M9jOm4?si=Emd-vNw-A3zF-0Jh)

Please be quick, reliable, and passionate about this project. In the event I cast both one person as both Adam & Magus, it will be most of the dialogue.

ALSO please audition for Magus as well, in the event that I want both roles to be played by the same person. Thank you.

  • I see. I understand. Your soul and way of life have been destroyed by this church.

  • Words are only potent if you have the power to back them up. I choose to speak because I know you know that I can annihilate you in seconds.

  • Why do you do this? Why do you enslave and torture innocent souls? People do not deserve this. They deserve freedom!

Adam's future evil self. I want a corrupted voice that's very Machiavellian and nihilistic.

Please be quick, reliable, and passionate about this project.

Please try to audition for both Adam & Magus as I might want one VA for both.

C'mon. You know who this guy is.

He's the Mad Titan.

Please be quick, reliable, and passionate about this project.

All the lines below are from the MCU as his role in this project is short, but I still want him menacing so to get a better picture of the voice, I have longer dialogue for the audition lines.

Don't try to imitate Josh Brolin's voice, just give it your own shot
